We haven't been scraping top 4. We absolutely walked the top 4 last year, and have since added a world class goal keeper.

Ubi and I don't agree that often but I do with him this time, you can't get rid of Wenger now, that is daft, personally let's get someone lined up and move Wenger when his contract is up

well I am just waiting to take my ten year old son to football training and looking at the sky desk, looks like we are jokers again. I refuse to travel every other week from Southampton to the emirates costing around 400 a month and getting nothing back just a load of empty promises. its ok when your earning 8 mil a year it don't matter, but when half your wages are spent on the love of football it a joke,

I don't think they have Derby mate, the stadium will be full first match back and even if we get stuffed by Chelsea second game back will be full again the next match and even if it wasn't they've already got peoples money.
Its no big deal to the club how the fans feel either way protests will make people feel better for a short time and then they'll calm down and nothing will change as January and next summer its rinse and repeat time again.

well I think all arsenal fans should just sit back and wait and see, I have been looking at all the talk over the last few weeks and it comes down to the same old crap, AW thinks he is the chairmen, board and manager, it does my head in he tells us there is no one out there but all the other clubs find there players they want and we don't, I think he must be going blind in his old age, I really do think we need a change of manager as we do the same thing every year we are a joke to everyone. I spend on average 250 pound a month for me and my ten year old son to go and watch them and all we get is the same crap year in year out,

Sorry you feel that way saint - I on the other other hand luv watching the Arsenal, highlight of my week and far more pleasing than any other team in football. I will take the good with bad and so chuffed not to support a boring team or one that is merely trying to buy trophies.

As some one said a couple of weeks ago we are becoming split between Arsene and Arsenal supporters some don't care about competing with the best as long as Arsene is our manager 4th is fine while want to challenge for the title and football's biggest prizes and are happy to see Arsene replaced in order for that to happen.
I now agree with Derby Arsene and Arsenal will never = premier league champions.

Building a footballing institution over a period of 20 years or so following the barca/bayern business model.

Given the second option teams have basically monopolised the champions league winners medals lately how come so any people want the first option?

Man utd monopolised the premier league for years using progressive building, Leeds tried to buy it, admittedly from a less stable money source but still...

Mate I'm so disappointed because to all but Arsene we are a goal scorer away from being real title contenders, I just don't understand it because the resources are there its not as though anyone is suggesting putting the club future into question or spending beyond our means its so doable it really is difficult to understand why not.

My problem is Derby I know your right when you say it about Arsene never winning another title but I don't want it to be true so for as long as possible I try hang on to thinking surely he will this time! and why wouldn't he?.

For me as things stand wenger is the ideal manager to assemble a top squad. The man has to have a backbone and and a half to stand up to an pressure.

We could have 5 billion in the bank, if the player isn't available or doesn't want to move, then we aren't signing him.

Alot of folks seem to think transfer deadline day is like going to asda. Fact is we only really want to buy from a few clubs (barca, real etc) and quite simply can't just demand the players leave. We literally get there cast offs usually for top money. Even Manchester United suffer from this problem...re:Di Maria.
