ESPN saying we're in talks with Suarez

http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/video_audio/227775.html?genre=1;sport=3

Bradders

1.) Mariner doesn't say that!

Suarez left out of 2013/2014 squad photo's for Liverpool FC. Search Getty Images if you don't believe me. Obviously i'm not saying he's coming to Arsenal because of this but it looks as if he certainly isn't staying in merseyside.

If that's the case it's massive news. same as Bale not going on tour. Km

2.) Link please?

3.) No he has not, he is on the bottom row on the right.

4.) That's BS just checked it he's right side third player in! Why the BS!?

5.) Just checked it out on getty images and no sign of suarez in the team pics. let it be a sign of good things to come for us :)

6.) No he has been removed
Very interesting

7.) He has. That's last years. The squad habe released individual player pocs f0r new season but suarez is not included

8.) Thats last years photo

9.) Searched the Liverpool site for the official team photo and I could not see it on there! Guessing that someone is up to mischief and playing photoshop!

10.) He's not in it. Your looking at the 2012-13 season mate

11.) He isn't in the pic because he ate the photographer lol.
chas

12.) Thats last years photo

13.) Searched the Liverpool site for the official team photo and I could not see it on there! Guessing that someone is up to mischief and playing photoshop!

14.) Photo evidence

www.gettyimages.co.uk/Search/Search.aspx?contractUrl=2&language=en-GB&family=editorial&assetType=image&mt=photography&p=liverpool+fc#

As you can see, his picture is not there. {Ed027's Note - no worries mate

15.) It's prob image rights he's not In the individual pics but he is in the squad pic

16.) Great post
Thanks for the link
AZ Gooner

17.) No joe allen either, or that suso geeze.

18.) Getty are just a photo library/ agency who sell images they are not connected to LFC and may not have the rights to Suarez's image. Many South American players try to retain ownership of their image. These are not the images used on the LFC website for all their players. There are 25 in Liverpool squad and only 22 images are they selling 3 players? Another case of 2 + 2 = 5 again I'm afraid. Not to say he won't be sold but I do not think this can be taken as conclusive proof.

19.) 03 Aug 2013 12:51:07
see people, don't call me out on rubbish because I don't come on here and spread it like 99% of others. it's in the individual photos that he's not there and for those saying he's in the front row you're looking at last seasons squad photo not the individual ones. I hate people lying as much as you lot so I make sure I have proof before I bother writing something on here, otherwise you just get a torrent of abuse just like Ed02 has received and now has left us in the dry with his obvious connections to the club. don't mock the people who obviously have something to bring to the table regarding rumours on this site. if you wanna sit there and listen to malaga all day be my guest I was only trying to lift everyone's spirits a bit

20.) Cheers Ed,

I think it's a case of looking for something whee there is nothing myself.

Just wanted to post the link so people can stop arguing whether he is or isn't.

As Cork City Gooner said, it's likely just his image rights though we'd like to believe otherwise.

21.) 03 Aug 2013 17:10:16
http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/Search/Search.aspx?EventId=175655221&EditorialProduct=LiverpoolFC

He's second from the right on bottom row

22.) If wenger was that desperate to sign him he would of offered the £55 million plus by now! Obv not serious enough, lfc aren't stupid. The only bluff arsenal are playing is on themselves. It's quite insulting to think you can get him for £40 million, lfc won't stand for that and will play hard ball as a result. Concentrate on another player would be better for afc at the moment because £40 is way short

23.) Cork city gooner, read what you are looking at. that's last seasons squad photo. it's already been said it's individual photos that we're talking about

Story running suggesting cazorla has agreed terms with atletico Madrid. Here we go boys. *sigh*

Bradders

1.) Day and night I come to this site to hear some nice and realistic transfer stories. yet this is what I get. *sigh*

2.) This is arsenal everything is possible

3.) Surely they cannot agree personal terms with a player who still has a few years on his contract unless a few has been agreed?

4.) If we lose cazorla and not replace him with cesc aswell as injecting some more quality my care for this season will be at 0%

5.) Total rubbish and AFC have just confrmed this.

6.) I have a horrible feeling that it is a deliberate policy of Wenger's to sell players for high fees, in order to fund other buys. Last season we sold RVP & Song, in order to fund Cazorla, Giroud & Podolski. I don't believe we will make any top signings.

7.) Athletico Madrid chairman in London to discuss a fee for Cazorla

8.) He can discuss the fact we have better weather currently than Madrid or the difference between Spanish Tapas and England's "fine cuisine".

However, there's one thing he won't be fling is discussing the sale of Santi Cazorla. He'd cost £40m and is a key player who won't be going anywhere!

a web site reporting that arsenal have signed jovetic. 25m breaking our record.

I know a web site isn't the most reliable, but it has been floating around for a while now that we have serious interest in him.

Whilst everyone chirps on about how excited they are about higuain I just wanted to make people aware about gervinhos comments about him being flattered by Marseilles interest. It may have gone under the radar in all the excitement.

Shame he never really fulfilled his potential but can anyone say they would miss him as long as a better replacement was found?

Bradders

1.) I'd be happy with him out and no replacement

1404

2.) As long as we replace him with a better replacement (which shouldn't be difficult) then no, he will not be missed. Wish him well though.
Flybo

3.) Ryo is the replacement and gnabry!

4.) Nelson Vivas

Olympiakos 2m bid for rosicky. 3 year well paid deal apparently on the cards.

As good as he is giving him a 3 year deal is a big risk in my opinion.

Bradders

1.) If we sell Rosicky and bring in someone who will contributes more in terms of goals and assists then why not. If Grenier really is the next Nasri then we should have no problem making this sort of move. We can't offer him the game time he deserves, even when he's fit and we need him he doesn't get games so it won't surprise me if he leaves.

2.) Rosicky has an old school level of commitment many of our younger players lack.

He has been crucial to us getting 4th last two seasons. He plays with urgency always.

If he goes, he has to be replaced with a like for like, experienced world class player.

3.) You are usually pretty solid but not htis time. Its not the goals and the assists, its his movement and the way he understands the game that makes Arsenal tick better when he plays - one little guy makes 4-5 better and he's low maintenance.

4.) Wouldn't want to lose rosicky as good squad player, but would not offer him big deal as metal says not sort of player that would be difficult to replace, that said with a run of games could be proven wrong but mid table quality in my eyes

5.) 19 Jun 2013 22:41:05
Totally agree with US Gooner. The experience of players such as Rosicky, Podolski, Mertersacker, Arteta etc is invaluable. Bringing back Henry last year apparently really helped Theo and Myiachi with their finishing.

Two years in a row he's helped us gain top 4. Imagine the impact he would have if he stayed fit all year round. We don't need Grenier or any other CAM. We are in desperate need of a good winger. Dimitri Payet anyone?

Detroit Gooner

6.) I think Rosicky at CM is unbeatable but Wenger hardly ever plays him. I don't want Rosicky to be sold ever but when we play some wack formation or with someone not ready, and he doesn't even come off the bench, it drives me insane. For that reason, if we were to sell him and sign someone who would be allowed to contribute more then fair enough. But to be honest I would prefer Rosicky to start games for us as CM. I think Jack and Santi should be rotated, and Rosicky and Arteta should be rotated. Ramsey and another DM should be rotated but the point is then we would actually have bench options. Rosicky seems to either start or not even make the bench and he was fit for 5 weeks and not being played while Santi and Arteta were run into the ground after xmas - what is the point in this? So sad but he really does deserve playing time, he is pure class, and I don't know a player in the league that pulls off a sliding tackle coming away with possession like he does.

7.) Detroit Gooner, exactly

We need pace and width, not more cental AM's

I say winger after DM and Striker

Di Maria anyone?

8.) So agree there. Little Mozart is a class player with experience. Would try him out a lot more in the CM position. although age is catching up with him, he seems to be out most mobile and urgent midfielder.

And he is one of our few midfielders who can shoot form outside the box

I can't believe people are questioning the return of fabregas, regardless of having a packed midfield with pretty decent quality, taking on a player who will improve on what we have shouldn't be scoffed at no matter what the position is. I know we need a DM CB RB and ST but come on people, this is fabregas. we know his quality and if this is the time for him to return the sooner the better in my opinion.

Looking at the quality of our play since the bayern second leg I have to say I know we've not been perfect but its such a step up and most of all it's consistent as a team. Look forward to seeing a real quality Dm come into the squad in summer, any other player is a true bonus I think and although a keeper winger and striker are probably needed, I have to say ill be over the moon to just see a quality Dm let alone the other positions.

capoue or kondogbia

I'm not saying he's the right choice but I do believe that we will end up with him or valdes based on a similar speculation to yourself greeny mate.

if reina goes to barca this summer I really think we'll get valdes and if valdes stays as barca's number one keeper, mignolet going to liverpool for sure pretty much bar a contract offering and medical, we will end up with valdes through default as he won't sit on the bench at barca or be happy with the competition if they barca do sign reina. But saying all this there was a hell of a lot of speculation suggesting we've already signed cesar, so this could be well out easily too.

I know its a frustrating time for all of us but what the hell do you expect wenger to say? "our squad is full of s*** and we're desperate to sign any one whos half decent?" of course he's always going to big the squad up that's his job as a manager to instill belief and confidence.

Haven't Liverpool pretty much got the mignolet deal wrapped up though mate? I said in an earlier post I reckon we'll end up with valdes or reina to be honest. Would love begovic though.
