Woke up to read a horrible story today that Arsenal were putting the Higuain deal on hold to find a better striker (Wayne Rooney).

Now I wasn't going to post anything today I was intending on waiting until Monday evening about Higuain but this false rumour has deceived many true Arsenal fans already and I feel to set things straight.

Higuain's deal to join Arsenal is done. He has chosen us ahead of Napoli, Juventus etc and will become an Arsenal player until you hear any quotes from the player of directly from Arsenal saying otherwise don't be worried especially if you've heard he is being offered to Tottenham and not us.

Rooney is a player Arsenal are interested in and we will put a bid in for him, but Arsene Wenger sees him as second striker to play behind Higuain for Arsenal. Arsenal having seemingly ended their interest in Jovetic and are trying to sign Rooney which if he was to play in that role could do extremely well plus it would give us another England International in our team.

Cesar will not be joining us it would appear Wenger has decided to look at other options and we have had a bid rejected for Grenier.

Fellani deal should be finalized next week. Syk news reported we allegedly met his 22m buy out clause and so can now speak to the player and negotiate a deal. Arsenal would create a suitable package for the Belgian star to join Arsenal.

1.) What is the source of this info?

Would love to believe you but I can't after being let down so many times!

Arsenal set to miss out on Thiago Alacantra as he looks certain to join Manchester United, a deal could be done in the next 48 hours.

Arsenal have agreed a fee and personal terms for Higuain and the Argentinian International will sign a 4 year deal on 115kpw, alongside Higuain will be the Everton powerhouse Marouanne Fellani as he is set to join Arsenal after privately telling a source in his camp he wishes to join Arsenal. A deal for Fellani should be done in the next 14 days, all talk of Arsenal not wanting to match his buy-out clause is preposterous as Wenger is well aware of his buy-out clause and has met it. Personal terms are close to being agreed.

Lastly Cesar the Brazilian International will join up with the Gunners after the Confederations Cup having already agreed a pre-contract with Arsenal.

David Villa could be the last last attacking addition for the Gunners as he already holds a pre-contract, the agreement was established in December to join Arsenal, that deal that fell through in January. Arsenal are reportedly from a source in the club after two forwards and someone of Villa's class, experience and calibre could increase Arsenal's chances of winning the BPL in the coming season. He is available for 10m.

Cesc won't come back to Arsenal, Thiago is leaving Barca.

Grenier or Ruben Garcia will join Arsenal as the club look to add more depth to their Youth and Reserve teams having released so many players.

If these Arsenal deals minus the deal for Grenier/Garcia don't materialise Ed's I ask you block me from the site. I'm 110% certain of these dealings.

I'm not ITK but I have friends in Professional football and know a few reliable agents with ties to the club.

1.) Higuain and villa?

i think wenger has actually lost it. someone needs to explain the term frugal to him.

2.) "If these Arsenal deals minus the deal for Grenier/Garcia don't materialise Ed's I ask you block me from the site. I'm 110% certain of these dealings. "
That's a big statement, and your confidence certainly intrigues me. If all your info comes to fruition. Then I'll be looking out for your name for any future transfer news.
Possible itk legend, IF it all comes off.
Flybo {Ed029's Note - I asked Ed02 about Genier and Garcia for you and this is what he had to say:

Lyon's Grenier has been of interest to Marseille, AC Milan, Arsenal, Juventus and Chelsea - but at the right price. The right price for Lyon is considerably higher when Chelsea and other EPL teams are interested and that has perhaps already priced him out of the market. OL would like to keep him and are close to having him sign a new deal.

I am sorry to have to be the one to tell them but Jerry Garcia passed away sometime ago and will not be joining Arsenal.}

3.) Well I guess we will know in 48hours time if any of this is true ( when Thiago joins ManU?)personally I don't think Fellani will join us and honestly I think we can find a decent DM for 22mil instead of someone who claims its his fav position. i'm not saying fellani is a bad player but i'm not really sure he is worth 22mil or will improve or squad, its a bit of a missfit kinda like carrol was for liverpool. good player but not for us.

4.) If you look up frugal in the dictionary it actually says refer to Wenger,. That said I for one am hoping blocking is not necessary, would be top top summer if materializes

5.) Laker so you would be disappointed if our front 3 against Villa was

Villa Higuain. Walcott

?

6.) Higuain plus Villa = 32m

22m for Higuain

10m Villa

For two players of that quality for that combined price the deals are certain;y worth it.

7.) Paul from Rochester I think somebody needs explain irony to you

8.) Please note I said a deal 'could be done' not 'will be done' in 48 hours, the deal is in advanced stages and will be formalized in a matter of days I can confirm. So it could happen a bit later, the '48 hours' is the anticipation from Manchester United and the agent they want the deal done as soon as and are hoping to finalize it by then. Be patient.

@ Ed's

The player I was talking about was Ruben Garcia.

He was born in Valencia and played for Valencia's youth team and then joined Levante. Numerous other sites and forms of media have this story too.

10.) Thanks MHC. Il eat some spinach to up my irony levels

11.) Thiago has agreed a four year deal. Reports in Spain are now saying. #

#MUFC

12.) 21 Jun 2013 15:32:51
Eds, The player I was referring to in 'Garcia'
is Ruben Garcia of Levante, he was a youth player at Valencia and left to join Levante in 2010.

13.) 21 Jun 2013 15:33:22
@ paul rochester. I would not be disappointed. just meant that as sarcasm.

i'm not sure what's happening.

my contacts are as good as dust. i've heard nothing. I don't believe twitter and arsenal don't put stuff online until after the next season is over it seems.

as a human being my natural tendency is greed. so if we can get 5 strikers I am more than happy. but to be quite honest, i'm looking for us to sign that first player and then we can start dreaming about better players joining us.

this higuain thing seemed a sure shot, now juventus are back? I mean have we done anything? or are we using him to get others to sign him and sign our target, who could be a 22 year old from tahiti?

just bemused and confused right now.

His buy out clause is his buy out clause his club do not by any means want to sell him, if any club does not match it and agree a deal with him he will go nowhere.

I read something like this as well but I fully agree with the two comments above. He is a quality player with 110 caps for Germnay and a lethal left foot. He will improve on his 16 goals and 11 assists last season.

Are you really going to judge him on one season? Have you ever seen him play and witnessed his impact on the a game? Worry not if he performs as he can he will light up the Prem and you may change your view on him.

Latest rumours are linking Gundogan with a move to Madrid and Lewandowski is very unlikely. I doubt Wenger would split up such a good defensive partnership right now, with that in mind Subotic is far too good to be on our bench anyway.

Although they are different players I'd prefer Wilshere as he can dictate the play in the middle of the park and has great composure and drive through the middle. He has more all around to his game than Goetze.

To different players a better comparison to Goetze would be Isco.

Wilshere is a bit like Gerrard in the way he can put in a hard tackle and win back possession to start and attack.

I'd personally prefer Isco.

I do apologize regarding my copied post above, these were not my words but another person from JustArsenal fan's site. City will still retain some interest in Jovetic after postponing a deal to sign him last summer. I can see City going back in for Cavani if i'm honest a compromise can be made somehow regarding him and Dzeko seems the likely option.

Have faith Arsenal fans Higuain will become an Arsenal player, he wants to join we have agreed personal terms and an acceptable fee has been offered. Juventus can't simply afford him but I can't see City going from entering negotiations for Cavani with a release clause of 53m and giving up on the first round.

Juve sporting director Bebbe Marotta said of Higuain
“To my knowledge, Higuain is already elsewhere”
now i’m 101% sure higuian is an arsenal player. Joyous news.
