I think we had another great window brought in who we needed to and loaned a few out.
{Ed014's Note - I think we ended being very sensible in the window after missing what must have been our two main targets but like that we didn’t get mugged off for either.
It’s funny that Chelsea kept getting laughed at for making stupid offers before they finally stumped up a record fee for a player who cost £10 million 12 months earlier.
We’ve kept our powder dry for another day.
I’m happy with Trossard, Kiwior is a little unknown and whilst I accept it, not so happy with Jorginho but if Mikel keeps him out of the DM role maybe he’ll turn out ok.

As always time will tell and some opinions will change one way or the other as with White and Ramsdale who most people dismissed without giving them a chance, and with Pepe and Mustafi who were both initially declared fantastic signings.

Never been overly impressed with. Jorg and didn’t feel like the type of player we needed based on targets but still signed him. I didn’t want him in 2020 when we were linked and not excited 3 years later… ?

You would have thought we could sign a special player due to opportunity they have to win league with us this season.
{Ed014's Note - I haven’t either mate, I genuinely don’t know what they see in him and if he’s back up for Partey he really is a huge down grade.
Maybe further forward he’ll be of use and as a DM I’d think there’s every chance either White or Kiwior would have been a safer better option in that role.
We did endeavour to bring in better but clearly we’ve learnt a lesson and not going to pay the crazy prices others are happy to put there club in jeopardy by doing.

How’s your wife doing Ed mate?
{Ed014's Note - we saw the consultant surgeon yesterday and op now going ahead on the 21st Feb. Her blood tests were really really positive.
The indicators, of which the norm is apparently 35 were at 3100+ but the chemo has taken them back down to 65 amazingly!
Op will still be quite extensive but hopefully that’s just another step on the road to recovery mate.
