God forbid, touch wood.
What happens if Coq gets injured, or even a ban?
{Ed007's Note - There's a smutty joke in there somewhere.}

You shouldn't use Coq and wood in the same remark
2.) 09 Sep 2015 20:26:21
I disagree TPG

That discussion only suits us when we're underperforming. Chelsea, Utd and Pool all won champs lge playing through winter. No doubt it makes a difference. But that's a poor excuse.

First things first, Giroud shouldn't be our first choice ST in ny opinion but.
Interesting stat
Giroud has more goals this season than Kane, Rooney, Costa and Benteke.
So you wonder, what's all the fuss about? Lol.

You hit the nail on the head. Everytime the pressure is on we turn up. When we're expected to win, complacency seems to always creep in. Vs Bayern, Utd and City last year, I am convinced the quality is there, We just need to keep that same concentration wr showed in those games consistently throughout the season.

Also read that. Won the ball back 9 times, more than anyone on the pitch. Impressive.

Santiago played his usual role. I think Coq not being there played on his mind. I read an article and Santi was saying how much the other midfielders love Coq because he gives them freedom to concentrate on attacking. Take out Coq, the freedom goes..

You win the game first THEN rest who u want. I agree with a lot of the points that the players are to blame, but so is Wenger. Wenger/Arsenal embarrassed ourselves in the transfer market. Arteta should have never been given a new contract. A CF and.DM (that same broken record) were a must. Yesterday selection was wrong for me. Theo should be starting. He's scoring, we should be building his confidence. Giroud seems to be on a confidence suicide mission after those 2 bookings yesterday. Did we really need to "rest" Cech? he's not exactly up and down the flank. Coq and Monreal, atleast win the game and then withdraw players. Instead we finish with 10 exhausted players. Wenger definitely got some decisions wrong but no way was yesterday all his fault.
