Hi Ed, what do you believe our realisitc chances of getting Lewandowski are in the summer?

Obviously he can say anything but the manner in which he called the rumoured 'done deal' between him and Bayern a "misunderstanding", etc as well as "looking for a new challenge" and admitting that he has previously spoken to Alex Ferguson regarding a premier league move (I don't see a move to Manchester now that SAF isn't manager, Moyes is in AND their current form).

An interesting space to watch.

{Ed002's Note - Dortmund and Lewandowski were unable to reach agreement over a new deal and they probably won't. Whilst there is no agreement in place for him to join any other club, it is clear that there has been interest from Napoli and Manchester United and some interest from Bayern Munich, who Dortmund would prefer not to sell to but the player would like to join. The player was keen to run down his contract and move to Munich at the end of the season, but he may not be a player Bayern Munich are still interested in. Real Madrid are looking to move for a striker in January and could leap to the front of the queue with a decent bid, the alternative may be Chelsea who tried quite hard to strike a deal in the summer. Arsenal were represented at a game late last season in Stuttgart and I suspect that since then Lewandowski was of interest.}

Probley no chance of signing him we will instead sign a second rate striker like who will be about as good as park or bendtner or chamkha

Ed, any truth in Arsenal's interests in Zouma and Griezmann?

If we are interested in Zouma, I suspect we might move Vermaelen somewhere. Do you see this happening in January or the summer, or even at all?

With the events of today, both in terms of the amount of goals conceded and the injury to Laurent koscienly, would you say the likelihood of us signing zouma has increased?

How so? last year it was known at this point that in the coming summer we would sign a left back, the injury of Gibbs brought this deal forward. Are there no parrelels between these two circumstances in your view

Reports that before his suspension Arsenal scout Giles Grimandi was watching Kurt Zouma. Any Ed of the Eds know if there is any truth in this?

{Ed002's Note - I rather doubt there will be an offer for Ranocchia. Zouma has strong support from within Arsenal but I suspect they would prefer a deal in the summer. However, if there are bids from elsewhere in January I would expect Arsenal to declare and interest.}
