Apparently Debuchy has said "I have joined Arsenal for £6.9m".
Might be twitter related so take with a pinch of salt and a strawberry cup cake.

Just seen an hour ago on BBC. Talks for Sanchez are underway and the fee is believed to be around £25 million. Apparently Barca have given the go ahead for Sanchez to move to us to fund a straight cash deal for Hannibal Suarez.
So the situation is similar to the Ozil shining.
Talks for Debuchy are in the advanced stage but no fee has been agreed.
If we don't sign these two arsenal should release official club dunce hats so we can pay tribute to our negotiation staff.

Old news dags, Some company has now brought out nipple covers with suarez in a Hannibal mask on it according to a friend at work.

Liverpool Echo said this too - But while Liverpool still hope to lure Sanchez, reports in Spain suggest the Chile international is not keen and prefers a move to Arsenal over a return to Serie A with Juventus, having previously played for Udinese.

Ed Do you think this whole suarez/sanchez saga will be resolved this weekend?, and are we frontrunner for Sanchez, apparently we've agreed terms with him?, please reply many thanks.
{Ed001's Note - I would say the Suarez deal will be sorted soon, but Sanchez might take a little longer. There are more than just Liverpool and Arsenal making him offers from the Prem.}

Arsenal seems the team he prefers the most. Juventus want him after he played well for Udinese before the Barca transfer, also reports suggest that he isn't a makeweight in the Liverpool suarez deal.
Also from other reports it seems United are now interested in Sanchez
However if arsenal met his valuation or close enough to it, he will be a gunner soon enough

Ed. would have to think City would need to sell to meet Barcas asking price and not eclipse their spending cap from UEFA. Maybe grasping at straws?

Eds just wondering, (not that I've seen anything to suggest we are interested)
but do u know of any interest form Arsenal for Memphis Depay? I've read that we are keen on his understudy but not him, has looked decent and quick in the games that I've seen him in.

Ed, do you know if Arsenal have increased their bid for Sanchez after their first one?
Also if he is not included in part of the Suarez deal, who else is interested in Sanchez other than us now?
