Reports saying that Ozil has rejected Arsenal and Manchester United are now favourites, I pray to god this is a joke

1.) Reports also suggesting Utd aren't interested in him.

2.) This is typical of Sly sports making up reports to try and increase betting. the Beeb have confirmed that United are NOT in for Ozil.

In the post match interview Arsene responded to questions stating that he will not be strengthening before Fenerbache, and strengthening before the weekend is only a possibility? Yet the window closes monday night?

I'm praying to god that he hasn't seen this result today as a sign that the squad is strong enough

1.) He coudlnt have signed Villa for 2.3million because Athletico gave Barca first refusal on Oliver Torres - who by the way is going to be an absolutely awesome player. we probably who needed to offer closer to 10million

3.) Yes you have to read between the lines on this one they only got him for that fee because of the clause in having first refusal on one their brightest young players. No doubt they may have asked for something in return from us aswell if we bid this summer.

Wenger was weighing up a 20 Mill move last transfer window but Villa picked up a bad injury and with being 32 years old Wenger Had 2nd thoughts at that price so backed down, so I can understand that one.

Wenger at the beginning of the window had a bid rejected for Lars Bender, confirmed by Leverkusen. Unless you've been hiding under a rock you'll have noticed that Wenger has also entered the market for a forward (suarez hopefully but pessimistically beginning to believe we'll miss out). And there's been interest in a CB (ginter i'm led to believe).

Seems that he's shown genuine interest in strengthening all areas of the field, is this for real?

As a gooner can you see him bringing in a top quality midfielder, defender and striker? Or is Wenger keeping us fans happy by throwing a bid here and there (apart from the genuine pursuit of Suarez)

Still believe that Wenger is naive about our squad, and won't strengthen everywhere needed.

But if he brings in 3 quality players (Kurt Zouma, Willian and Suarez would suit nicely) Is that enough to win big?
