Not really a rumour but just a hunch - feel free to rip it to shreds though.
I don't see any signings (or at least major ones) this summer. Despite having the money, I believe it is wengers last season and he will move "upstairs". This will give a new manager unlimited funds to add to the team - albeit in the champs league, Europa, or none.
As they know wenger will be off, there is no point bringing in someone that another manager doesn't want, and then we can't get rid.
I was really frustrated yesterday and wengers "apology" somehow made things worse. It was similar to the 8-2 man united game.
Comments/thoughts?
1.) I think there just might be something in this Gorzi but if so then go now & let's get sorted sooner rather than later
2.) It was worse 8_2 to man u was bad, this feels much much worse and Wenger should have been sacked then. Don't know what to say anymore!
3.) Why did they bid £40m + £1 for Suarez then which would have smashed our transfer record. Again its just another f##k up by our high management team that can't read a players contract correctly. They put all there eggs into Suarez because they thought it released him from his contract there was no back up plan. Were now scratching around for players like we did two years ago or so it seems.
Ed, what is wrong with Lucas? Is he the player that you believe would plug the hole in the midfield that has been apparent over a number of seasons?!
How is Lucas any better than what we already have? And for £25m?
I personally would view it as a poor transfer window if we obtained his services. I believe that for £25mil we could do better. {Ed027's Note - Lucas is a great player, he is exactly what we need, he sniffs out danger, and covers the defence well. yes he isn't worth 25m, maybe 15m is fair
Mata is probably having a medical as we speak. He is waiting to go on the running machine, once higuain, Fellaini and a whole host of others get off!
Does anyone know anything even remotely believable?!
