Dan Crowley and Gedion Zalalem both playing for the under 21s tonight so no chance of playing tomorrow which I would have liked to see them.
Hayden doesn't play which indicates he will probably start tomorrow.

Mertesacker retires from international football. Only good for Arsenal!
Retires on a high! World Cup winner!

Serge Gnabry, Joel Campbell and Lukas Podolski, who have all been linked with moves away from Arsenal, have been selected in the champions league qualifiers squad coming up in a week or so.
Notable, but obvious absentees are; David Ospina and Theo Walcott. Other than that, we have a full strength team to choose from; including the Germans.
This doesn't mean the above three players won't be leaving of course but it's an indication that Wenger will keep them. Although Gnabry could be loaned out after the qualifiers as whoever he joins won't be in the CL.
1.) I think i'm right, if a player leaves his place can be used with another.

Johan Djourou has finally completed his move to Hamburg!
This followed by Vermaelen leaving means Wenger MUST have a signing up his sleeve for CB.

Quotes coming out of NYC is that David Ospina is a done deal.
The Gunners boss is quoted as saying: "You know at the start Szczensy will be the No. 1, then again will be down to performances and, if Ospina shows that he is better, he will play."
Ospina, 25, is expected to complete a £3m move from French side Nice in the coming days.
Couple this with Chambers and a DM and what the hell are we going do for the rest of the window? I'm going to have to actually go to work or take up a hobby rather than enduring hours and days of frustration!

So this is our worst start to a season in terms of points for 32yrs.
Yesterday we showed the same frailties that have killed us season after season, yet do not get addressed.
I have to say, we NEED a new manager and approach.
Come on done Jurgen Klopp. Oh and bring Reus with you whilst you're at it.
10 Nov 2014 20:33:24
Before they played at the weekend, Borrusia Dortmund were actually bottom of the league! They've started this season terribly in the league, even though (as we know) they're 100% in the champions league.
Still, the fans came out in force at the weekend, supported the team with flags, banners and chants. Interestingly, there was not one 'Klopp out!' chant amongst the fans. They have watched stars being made and then continually see their star players to a rival (why does that sound familiar?)
Personally, I still think Klopp and several players would fit in nicely at Arsenal and would love to see Reus sign. My main point is that, no matter how bad things are, the Dortmund fans support their team and back the manager.
Rightly or wrong? Should we do the same? Discuss
1.) You suggesting we bring back Terry. Neil or Bruce Doc?
2.) Don Howe
3.) 10 Nov 2014 22:56:00
We just have to keep supporting the boys, and Arsene, through thick and thin, good and bad.
Although judging by our attendances, 60,000 every game, that's exactly what we are doing.
4.) 10 Nov 2014 22:57:50
Don Howe bambam?
Crikey, are things that bad?
5.) 11 Nov 2014 04:08:09
Dortmund won back to back League titles, German cups and reached the champions league final. They've had one bad season domestically.
We on the other hand have had 7/8 seasons of disapointement, and its due to the same factors and errors every season.
Its all very well saying get behind the team/manager no matter what etc. But its hard when we half our squad is not at the required standard and our manager has been making the same mistakes 8 years in a row.

What a week. I honestly don't know why we do it?! Our beloved Arsenal put us through the mill far too often! Lost for words!

Hey guys, Jenny and Eds (Please post in banter)
Just wanted to drop a personal message to inform all the usual suspects that I will not be on here much, if at all til February 2015.
Going out to Australia in the next couple of weeks to do some work for three months. Keep up the banter, support the boys through thick and thin and I'll be back to reassess the situation next year.
Thanks all!
{Ed002's Note - You will be shocked to know that the Internet has now spread to Australia Greeny.}
1.) Thanks for the heads up Ed. Loving the sarcasm as always. I was also aware of this but I am going to be working all sorts of hours and won't have much time to get on here.
{Ed002's Note - Have a great time Greeny but keep us informed of what is going on.}
2.) Love the banter, very funny - have a great trip geeky and hope we have a nice lead in the league when you get back!

7.) DONT DO IT DOC!
Your club needs you,
Apart from great weather great life style, BBQ on the beach Christmas day, good beer, loads of lovely Sheila's and absolutely beautiful landmarks, what can they offer you that we can't?
8.) Epic reply frm eds
9.) Thanks all that replied, I will endeavour to use this new fangled internet thingy if and when I can but if not, keep up the banter and roar the boys on. Alexis to have 15 league goals upon my return as we sit in the top four somewhere! Hopefully!
{Ed007's Note - Have a great time out there, Greeny.}
10.) 29 Oct 2014 22:52:13

So anything less than 3pts today and it will be THE WORST start to a premier league season under Arsene Wenger.
More crack papering over with a 3-1 Arsenal win.
1.) One win from the last seven PL games says enough for me.
Very poor
Walcott on the bench today. Expect 15-20mins of action.
Relax, it's the return of Chamakh.
He's going to Spurs I reckon. Meet up with Poch.
Is this one of your crap jokes Dags?
He will "settle" for £140k in line with Ozil and Sanchez.
Amen to that brother! Guardiola would be an amazing manager after Le Prof!

Wow. Go easy gents, it was clearly said in sarcasm.
So basically Davros, what you're saying is that we've paid Diaby £50 in wages in two years?
