1.) Yes as soon as he gets the cheque book out and slaps £55 million + on it, otherwise Rodgers and the rest of the country will laugh at his silly attempt

Who do reckon is the hardest manager in the league? Il go with Lambert, he just reminds me of a psychopath.

Just playing devil's advocate. Wenger is the manager of our team, so if we to get the most out of it shouldn't we play to his strengths.
I'm going to add a few caveats here, and that is yes I'm admitting he has made a few shockers in terms of transfers over the past few seasons. And his wage policy is laughable. Even though I think this is being addressed now.
But if you look at the shockers he made in the transfer market, they have been generally for older players I. e Santos, Park, Squillachi, Chamackh etc.

Looking at his transfers over 17 years your obviously going to make mistakes, but in general when he goes for the younger players they come up trumps. This is the strength I'm talking about.
I know there is a massive clammer to spend big this summer, the quick fix,
But this isn't Wengers strength and this is where I know a lot of you will probably disagree.
But surly if he's our manager we should play to his strengths. We can look at Klopp and Dortmund as the most similar to model to our own. The difference is that his scouting and model has been more successful recently. But It shows it can be successful.
Wenger has many faults. He's stubborn and micro manages everything, maybe even a dictator. This might be his downfall. But he's our manager, and he's giving trials to the likes of Sebastian Perez. People might rightly feel aggrieved by this. But look at all of his success in the market. They were all young relatively unknowns.

{Ed022's Note - Playing devils advocate in response: I completely understand with what your saying, however, I think Arsenal fans are frustrated (myself included) because "Wenger's way" hasn't brought trophies. Yes he has overseen the building and completion of state of the art 60,000 seater stadium. Yes he has kept us in the CL for the last 16 seasons. But, the scrolls of history don't care about that. They only see winners and trophies won. Something Arsenal don't feature in over the last few seasons to say the least...}

I go with Wenger. I reckon he's got a serious nut on him.

There's something nagging in the back of my head that Suarez will finally get his move from Liverpool, at the end of the window, to a Champions league team, in London. Chelsea!
There's absolutely no way John W Henry will want todo business with us after his tweet and outbursts.

1.) Cant see him at Chelsea. Especially not after the bite on Ivanovic (sp). The Chelsea fans were pretty brutal on him and I presume there's bad blood between the two players since then.

Personally, I think the only real threat is that Real Madrid put in a late bid after this Bale mess is sorted out. Spurs could afford him when / if they sell Bale, but they can't offer him CL. Just leaves us and City in the EPL and City have just signed Jovetic and Negrado.
