Reports coming out of Italy claim reported Arsenal target Alessio Cerci is flying to Spain to finalise a move to Atletico Madrid. Torino are thought to be ready to turn their attentions to Parma's Amauri to replace Cerci.

We have to remember that Wenger has brought this club so far however the biggest loss for the club is David Dein. David Dein had a vision which he was sacked for but that vision is looking more true. The loss of David Dein has also meant that we no longer know how to make major signings. Also Wenger lost his top scout to the yids. Again when you look at the players that he has been signing, there certainly is more poor than good. There are certainly players that he has signed that makes you wonder why (Park). We keep hearing about the psychological profile on players being made before we buy them and yet Chanmak and Ghevenio has both left with no self believe.
Is the answer to bring back David Dein or have too many bridges been burnt?
Sack Wenger, as the back room staff is employed by him? The real question is Who would replace him? Look at the managers that are out there and are available. I personally cannot think of anyone that I can truly say. Yes next Arsenal Manager.

The loan deal has the option to become a full contract at the end of the loan

And there's the problem. He will blow it because of his wages demand

Real Madrid will not sell to Arsenal because they two teams do not do business? Really. Business is business and every player has a price. They certainly would do business with us if the price was right and they will need to make some money as they are paying a silly amount of money for Gareth Bale.

Hi Malaga, its good to see you are still in cukoo cukoo land. Is this a natural thing or is there a chemical inbalance?

Roosj - the trouble is that we've had all summer to buy players which would have given them time to start to bed in, not only with there new team mates and the style of football that we play but also finding accommodation. (I know the club helps with this) Again we are leaving it to the last minutes. Like last season we haven't learnt and it takes defeats before reacting. Prices going up at the last minute and we end up buying the players we don't truly want. Park for example. Again this would never had happened when David Dein was here. We've run the club to fit into the fair play however we are like the England of the EU. We are the only ones doing it.Bottom line is Too little Too late AGAIN

Good call Metal. don't worry because in a few years Wenger will tell us how we nearly brought someone. Look at the players that have come out saying they nearly went to Arsenal
Ronaldo and Drogba have both recently come out saying that they nearly signed for Arsenal. Then we have the players on trials. Kolo Toure's brother . apparently didn't cut it at the trial however looks a great player at City.
I understand that he only wants to bring in players that will improve the squad/team however he needs to have a reality check with the current crop of players
