iv read today that man u up there offer to £30m for cesc, the reason man u muppets increased their offer from £25m to £30m because barca have to pay £5m penalty to arsenal for not giving them first refusal right as stated in the contract when they bought fabregas
any ed's confirm if this is fact, we all know about the us having first refusal but is it fact that if barca don't give us first refusal they only have to pay £5m. ifso that sounds like a bum deal for us and what was the point of ever even putting a first refusal clause in the contract {Ed027's Note - not true, we get 50% of anything above 25m
Lets hope so because this is getting drawn out now, I would like a end to it no way or another
