Arsenal is my second team and has been for many years. The thing that attracted me was that no matter what they played Football with class and a swagger. That, for some reason has disappeared the Crown now being taken by City. Just why cannot be directly down to the Manger as he was the one who instigated that style in the first place however indirectly it is certainly down to the manager for his seeming failure to recruit gifted players. Maybe he is a little hamstrung by the budget but he has identified a few too many flops who are not technically gifted and have the first touch of a farmyard carthorse. This together with the fact that he has let better players move on has left me baffled, and sad. Baffled that how can such a good man become so poor in judgement and sad because the only way out of this malaise is for the man to graciously walk away. He should leave on a high with some sort of success but where that will be coming from, certainly this year, I cannot see. IF he goes then I hope that whoever joins has the same attacking flair ethos for over the years fans have been brought up not only on wins but on the style of the win. The powers that be have a BIG decision looming let's hope that the first is made with reverence and appreciation and the second is made with the Glorious name of Arsenal and all it stands for in mind but please do not let this dark abyss drag on and on. No news is often worse than bad news.

as of today who is the Arsenal player who will light up a stadium? Who is the player who can change a game? The pressure is on to make not one or two but more, top, top quality signings. Without those Arsenal are destined to be challenging for Europa League for years to come. Most of the players we have now are good but not top four quality.

Sell all those who want to go. Get top money then spend every penny plus a few million more otherwise we will be looking at top half of the table as acceptable and Europa league as a definite result. The only request I would have is that Arsene does not get veto over final choice and consults heavily before buying.

If there was one huge problem then the solution might be very painfull but at least possible. I feel now like many desperate times our problems are not one but many, which will require not one but many answers. Wenger in/ Wenger out it seems can only be solved by the decision of one man however based on recent performances one of the other questions is out on the pitch. I started watching The Arsenal to see a team purring like a Rolls Royce built on an uncompromising defence who could also play a bit when called on: with "stars" in most positions. Now I am falling out of love. I do not see the fluency anymore (not even in wins) . Too many averagely "good" buys are hurting us now not enough carry the X-Factor that we need and demand. Without naming names many of the newbies just do not seem up to it and this seems to be affecting the performances of the "old guard".
It was said that tonights scoreline could be a decision maker for some (relating to Wenger) but it could also be a decision maker for a number of players on the pitch (or even the bench) .

Wenger can't get the players to play anymore for him, he's lost them and the plot.

I'm not sure if he's lost the plot but more not in touch with the modern game. Each changed and sadly he hasn't changed with it. But people who think this'll all be sorted with a new manager are wrong. It's a start but we are in big big trouble.

Is there a door opening at PSG? First them then bow out with the national team?

Update - they have now agreed on the baguettes but want it buttered and do not want to pay any extra for the jam.

Do we need a new team bus? If so I think we all know where to park it.
