Ed25, really nice to read the story about the Everton fans voting for the 9 year old so he won the goal of the month. In days when there is so much negativity towards football fans it's great to see a positive story for once.

{Ed025's Note - it was epping, im very proud of the work everton do in the community mate and to see that young boys face light up when he won was a treasure to behold, i love that about everton and im sure other clubs do similar, we sometimes forget that its about the fans but it really is..

the difference in mert and kos' tackle success % are quite odd
mert 90.48%
kos 55.56%
can anyone explain why kos' tackling stats are so poor?

Mertesacker sarcastics are impressive until you look a little closer, he sometimes goes the whole game without making a single tackle at all, I don't know but I'd guess Kos makes probably as many as 15 x the amount of tackles as Mertesacker.

Bearing in mind g62, mert has only made 1 tackle this year his stats suggest he didn't even do that right 😜.

Am firmly in the Wenger in Camp, Will Support him and the Club until he decides to leave. But contrary to popular belief i don't support Wenger blindly, we see the mistakes and failures, and the missed opportunities, hell I've wanted him sacked a few times .
The Thing is we don't constantly ram those negatives through every time like there is a slight setback, or make Wenger out to be a complete dimwit of a Manager. We all Want the Arsenal to be successful, and I believe Wenger can make us that again.

Ure firmly in the wenger in camp and will support him till he decides to leave but that ain't blind loyalty?

Surely life isn't this good over on the United page, Chris.

I still don't get all this loyalty to wenger

He has constantly stood by crap and old players who are just not good enough for our club

I for one will have a session when he's gone.

He has lined the pockets of the shareholders, balanced the books and managed to get top four for a number of years. The sooner he goes the better 🤗.

yet you will complain about players who show no loyalty when clubs will pay them more wages or offer better chance of winning trophy's?

if you don't get what he has done for this club and for us fans, he brought our style of play, he brought the invincibles, he is the most successful manager in the history of the fa cup, he has kept us in the champ league season after season so we get to be the likes of barca, madrid, munich at out shiny new stadium. yet you don't get the loyalty to him.

yes he has not been as successful as his early years, yest he is coming to the end of his time, yes he has made quite a few mistakes in his LONG time with us, but the good will far out weigh the bad, what he has done will leave this club in a GREAT position for years and years to come. that is why we ( most of us want to show him some loyalty. )

Is it nearly time for a change - YES
would i want to disrepect one of the greatest ( if not the ) greatest manager we have had - NEVER.

As much as I feel we have stagnated and failed to be all we could be unde Arsene for probably 3 years now I don't want things to end badly and if that means another season of not challenging hey ho if that's what it takes to not disrespect Arsene after all this time in the words of Johnny Logan " what's another year "
But I don't get this leaving us in great shape thing! Most of our best players will be the wrong side of 30 when Arsenes contract ends and will leave us with Only Belerin Le Coq Aaron Ozil and Sanchez as proven quality players the right side of 30.
I don't see how that's anything but a big rebuilding job for his successor to kick off with.

10 Feb 2016 19:41:14
It's not about loyalty it's about having respect for a man who has built our club. Things need to change and even the loyalist wengerite has said this is the season where the line has been drawn! But currently we are in with a shout for 3 competitions and players are coming back. We just need to ride the rest of the year out and see what happens! We're mid season and doing ok all the rumblings need to stop it dosent help anything.

I don't mind people leaving. Money is money go get it. Just be ready to replace them if you can't match there wages.

People on here hate Ashley Cole. i'd of left too anyone would of.

10 Feb 2016 20:51:09
People hate Ashley for wanting 5k week more than we offered him to stay which was still less than the going rate, Arsene himself has admitted Arsenal made mistakes in the handling of Ashley Cole a misunderstanding Arsene calls it.
