Question to all, how many seats are allocated to away support at the Emirates.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

19 Feb 2017 19:36:36
Fa cup allocation should be 15%, I've just read.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Feb 2017 19:55:06
Yep 15%.

Subject to approval by local fire brigade, police and Council.

There was 8000 fans wanted to go to burnley and they only gave them 3500. They will easily sell the 7500.

So Steve your a Lincolnshire lad originally, Lincoln its self mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Feb 2017 22:32:57
Yes gunner born and bred. I live in lincoln and my aunt and uncle used to live in finsbury park and we could see the highbury from their house. My uncle took me to my first ever game when I was 5 and I was hooked. I didn't go to my first lincoln game until I was twelve funnily enough but spent the next few years following the imps and graham taylor was one of the managers. When I got married I took the wife and kids for their induction to highbury and took them once a month for years to highbury and every game at wembley. I never thought this day would ever come. I hope they don't spoil it tomorrow night. Lol.

Cool Steve mate, I don't live a million miles away from you I'm in Peterborough but was born and bred in the mighty Fenland town of Wisbech :-)

20 Feb 2017 00:02:14
Yes I've been to Peterborough lots of times more recently the greyhound stadium and thorp wood golf course. Do you go and see the posh gunner.

I remember when my home town Whitby placed in the FA vase final at old wembley against north ferriby we took 1/4 of the towns population. They would take 15000 seats if available. It a once in a lifetime occasion and bus loads will get put on. All been said I expect to at least get to Wembley now.

No mate I went once when I first moved here about 14 years ago it cost £17 and what I saw resembled what I could watch for free in the local park, it was awful kick and rush stuff at premier league prices, that was enough for me mate :-)

Decent draw giving us a great chance to get to the Semis.

19 Feb 2017 18:45:41
Banbury my home town is lincoln, in my teens and up to my early thirties I supported both on the terraces. Me i'm in a win win situation but I will tell you this if arsenal beat sutton, lincoln will go there expecting to win. Dan Cowley is doing wonders for lincoln. So everybody, be careful what you say about the imps.

19 Feb 2017 18:50:30
I'd sack the board the manager and the whole squad if Arsenal don't get to the semis.

19 Feb 2017 18:57:13
Funnyly enough, i'd be quite happy with that. Lol.

Lincoln fans will be going mad over the next few weeks and I will tell you this, they will certainly liven up the Emirates. They are brilliant, air raid sirens and all if they are allowed it in. My mates a season ticket holder so i'm hoping he can get me a ticket. A dream come true for me.

19 Feb 2017 19:13:28
Steve,
Artificial pitch mate. Not good for Welbeck's knees 😃

Decent draw but Lincoln (providing we beat Sutton) won't be easy.

Thing is G62, we are our own worst enemy.
We have to beat ourselves before we beat the opposition.

19 Feb 2017 17:51:36
I want Wenger to quit Steve, he's been absolute class and I would have loved him at my club, when he goes you could do a man Utd and struggle for a few years or could be like Chelsea and win trophies like di matteo, hiddink, benetiz etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Feb 2017 17:07:59
Steve, if wenger had never been your manager you'd be a middle of the table team.

19 Feb 2017 17:18:39
And Jol and Harry and, how many managers have they had! I can't honestly think? Sign of a top club. Maybe they are that desperate for him to stay so poch doesn't get his head turned by a big club.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Feb 2017 21:43:51
Raver I appreciate all what wenger has done but all things come to an end and he had run his race. For me the longer wenger stays the worse for him. I. don't want people saying he ruined his legacy. He has put us in a great place for the next push to elite status, which is beyond him now. We actually need to swap raver, because your guy would be better suited to us and ours to you. Lol.

Is Wenger giving us a clue when he said i would prefer 4 years at Arsenal but i am adult enough to analysise the situation. So perhaps Kroenke and the board have finally realised that Arsene has got to much above himself dictating to them about contracts and are going to give him a shove to the door. Also if i was Psg and had approached him or even offered him 4 year deal and he has said yes in principle i would not be too happy that he has come out and said i prefer another 4 years at Arsenal.
Question for you people if the unthinkable happens tomorrow and we lose what one of
the 4 options will happen
1. - He resigns
2. - He is sacked
3. - He goes at the end of the season
4. - He gets a new contract

Take care people.

I think in that senario it would be the end of the season Heybridge mate.
My personal veiw is he will sign a one year deal at the end of the season with the promise of deffinately going at the end of next season as way of keeping enough people onside who will buy into it with an " ok I'm happy for one more season as long as it's the last one " attitude allowing Arsene one last chance to make a season last beyond February in champions league and premier league terms.
Just my view thought.

4.,
Remember Arsenal are all about profit, the owners are in a very comfortable position at the minute, they have a manager who makes them a shed load of money, why risk that .? Get rid of Wenger and they a big risk.

I believe that Wenger is simply saying he feels he has at least another 4 years in him to continue managing at club level, whether at Arsenal or elsewhere. If I had to predict Wenger's future, it would be; 4 years club management, at say PSG, then he would become the French National manager and then in his mid-70's he will start working with young players in a deprived area, such as Africa. The tide has turned and I can't see him staying at the club, even an FA Cup and 2nd place might not placate the supporters. I think he wanted to go out with a trophy and he looked absolutely gutted when we lost to Chelsea and Bayern, in reality leaving just the FA Cup to chase. I do wish fellow supporters would show him more respect, as his record at the club has been amazing. Speaking about him as though he is a senile old has been is simply wrong. He is still physically and mentally in great shape and I don't believe he has fallen behind the times, simply that in the second decade of his time as manager, other clubs came into the equation with huge financial muscle. We have no devine right to finish above the likes of Chelsea, Man C and Man U, who all are wealthier than Arsenal. Wenger has completed and given these clubs a run for their money, whilst running Arsenal as a business, not financially doped as other clubs are. Many fans only know Wenger as manager and they are oblivious to a time when we had period where we were out of the top four, won little and even had a brief spell in the lower half of the old 1st division.

Steve as much as he has soured at arsenal he is an extremely popular manager and highly thought of especially on the continent. It's just gone stale at arsenal I actually think he could do a job at Barcelona
. I've more lost faith in the situation I don't think the man is an idiot.
