A few of you said spurs won't get the same attendance at Wembley as Arsenal did in the champions league, well Wembley has sold out for the Monaco game lol. We have always had the biggest following in London and always will that's why we are building the biggest club ground in London.

the raver

{Ed025's Note - hmmmm..

1.) 08 Sep 2016 20:55:47
You are a funny comedian. Your not the biggest in north London let alone london. Weat ham are bigger then you spuds.

Forever in our shadow, but keep your chin up. I don't know how i would cope if we finsged below you for 20 plus years.

2.) 08 Sep 2016 21:50:26
Tottenham are not good at football mate.

3.) 09 Sep 2016 12:56:57
It's really weird that you feel the need to constantly post things on here that even you know are false deep down. Some kind of mental complex, do you have like real life friends who you can talk to about Sp*rs as opposed to getting your kicks from trying to wind up a bunch of usernames and posting ridiculous things on here as soon as you think them up?

4.) 09 Sep 2016 23:37:25
Raver should seek help.

5.) 10 Sep 2016 00:57:14
Did you know that you cannot get a cup of tea at White Hart Lane?
But if you want a MUG there are thousands of them!

6.) 15 Sep 2016 00:21:10
how'd that Monaco game go Raver?

Looks like you guys were not used to playing in front of such a large crowd ;)

03 Jun 2016 21:51:56
So you boys are in talks with vardy, 20 million would be one of the buys of the season . I'd love him at my club to link up with dags mate Harry Kane. It looks like wengers going to spend big this summer if it pays off happy days but if it doesn't he will be gone come next may.

the raver

{Ed025's Note - he will go because he wants to raver..

1.) 03 Jun 2016 22:25:02
He wants to come to arsenal Ed?

{Ed025's Note - i was talking about arsene CS...sorry for the confusion..

2.) 03 Jun 2016 22:58:24
Ah sorry.

3.) 03 Jun 2016 23:21:08
Raver,
You can always sign Ibrahimovic.

Oh wait, :-)

4.) 04 Jun 2016 02:18:20
Can we all just celebrate the fact that Ed002 responded to an Arsenal rumour!

10 May 2016 20:11:28
Gunner 62, poch as been seen with Alex Ferguson today . Could he be the new man Utd manager next season? You wanted poch out looks like your wish has come true.

the raver

1.) 11 May 2016 19:34:15
Until Spurs have there new ground pay the top wages and have some consistency in challenging year on year out you will always run the gauntlet of loosing your best assests.

14 Feb 2016 21:09:32
Just seen Barcelona take a penalty like pires did years ago but Barcelona made it look easy.

1.) 15 Feb 2016 02:42:06
nice to see you have arsenal in your memories raver. we're the secret 2nd favorite team of yours then hey.

2.) 15 Feb 2016 13:47:33
That's because it is easy, Pires just uncharacteristically fluffed it.

3.) 28 Feb 2016 00:17:58
Talking of making things look easy, remember our boy Freddie?

R. G. I'm cruising in the Subaru in my Hugo boss shell suit and my curly hair and moustache in prime condition heading for Stringfellows with the beetles on full blast on the sound system after another emphatic win over Liverpool to put us joint second. We look in total pain at the moment after bossing Madrid in midweek and making Liverpool look poor beep.

the raver

1.) 22 Oct 2017 20:01:20
Raver, when you say joint second, you mean third mate.

2.) 22 Oct 2017 20:26:51
If you say bossing Madrid was this after you went high? good one for you today though. I do agree it was a commanding performance.

3.) 22 Oct 2017 20:28:23
Raver61 - and the trophy you are celebrating for being 3rd is? 8 year old Gordon Strachan with a carrot under under his elongated hooter, in the back of his mummies rusty Subaru in the parking pace in front of their Edmonton 1 bed council flat. The pain at the lane just goes on, 196, yes 1961 for trophyless toot.

4.) 22 Oct 2017 20:44:21
As per usual you and Harry have got over your slow start to a new season Raver Wembley or no Wembley, you seen to always come out of the blocks slowly but once you hit your stride you take some knocking out of it mate.
I thought before a ball was kicked you would run this season's champions even closer this season than the last two seasons, long way to go but united although far from out of it seem to be finding the current pace a little to quick for them and I can see you being the side to push City during the closing weeks of this season as you did Leicester and Chelsea in the previous 2 season's.
You are getting better and better wether we like it or not mate.

5.) 22 Oct 2017 21:51:53
This is insane. It's a simple fact as much as it kills me that spurs are a really good team. The thing is that this period of prosperity is goona show for nothing (hopefully) city are going to boss the league and spurs will win nothing and sell their best players. That's what I'm hanging on to any how.

6.) 22 Oct 2017 22:37:23
Sano, spuds are a breath of fresh air but they will huff and puff like they have done the past two or three seasons and not blow the house down. Along will come the wolf and take all their piggies away. They will not win the league this or any year. But they will make more of a fist of it than us, for now.

7.) 22 Oct 2017 22:53:08
Agree Sanogo,
Spurs were terrific last season and won nothing.

We were pants and won FA Cup 👍.

8.) 23 Oct 2017 04:18:03
Raver my old mate
The shell suit, the Beatles, all that must take you back to the last time you won something.

9.) 23 Oct 2017 08:45:55
Seen it all before at the toot, a false dawn. Redknapp was the messiah and the Toot reached the CL QF, they were going to win the league and had a great squad of players. The result was Harry being the best manager was going to manage England and it all evaporated. The best players, Modric and Bale ended up at Real and the club was plunged back into mediocrity.

With Real and other clubs sniffing around their better players, how long can they hold out before the reality of having to sell players that are receiving as much as half the wages they could earn and no trophies? Walker has already moved to City where he could win his first trophy and is paid proper wages. Else wants to move on t win things, just like Sol Campbell. Alderweirald is very upset wth the lack of a new deal and is on £55,000 a week.

Put simply the Toot's chances of actually winning a trophy a remote, another Leicester is even less likely to happen. As raver61 well knows, the pain is going to continue, hence celebrating 1-1 draws and a home win like they gave actually won a trophy. It makes the pain of. The Toot's failure even more delicious.

10.) 23 Oct 2017 09:09:12
Welsh,
You have just won the Golden Boot for "Reply Of The Season".

Love it.

11.) 23 Oct 2017 09:18:59
RG I have never known as Tottenham side to win the league my son has never known a Tottenham side to win the league my grankids have never known a Arsenal or Tottenham side to win the league
Sorry mate but you make us sound like Leeds laughing at Sheffield Wednesday fans keep going on about 1961, it's all ancient history in football terms in North London mate.

12.) 23 Oct 2017 12:40:16
I used to talk his way about City, we even had a banner at OT counting the years since they won a trophy and we had a great song to an Inspiral Carpets tune. I know they had huge cash injected but thing change. I watch Spurs and City now and they look scary. It could just be a purple patch but Spurs have improved year after year, if they continue then they are serious contenders this year.

13.) 23 Oct 2017 12:41:10
Don't G62 why do you think he's called Timmy two topics.

18 Oct 2017 14:17:35
R. G. I'm not saying we are going to win a trophy, all I'm saying is that spurs are heading in the right direction and is a club on the up which surely you can't disagree. Our net spend compared to you, Chelsea, city, Utd etc is massive yet we are mixing it with you lot shows we are doing very well. The youngest squad in the league and champions league, a young manager, a massive stadium being bulit shows we are going forward. As for being in Madrid I was there as I'm a true supporter unlike you who is getting chaufferd driven to fly first class in a private plane then decides not to go like a few weeks back shows you are a bobby bullcrapper.

the raver

1.) 18 Oct 2017 16:16:24
Didnt see the game last night but apparently Spurs were the better team according to reports. Tottenham i have to say look very good since Pocchettino took over, but here's the weak link in my opinion . Pocchettino has not got a trophy in his cv and despite obviously taking Tottenham in the right direction Tottenham in my opinion need to go for a upgrade on him. Is he a good manager YES does he bring the youngsters on YES can he take Spurs to the next level? ? And before anybody thinks i am biased i am not its just my honest opinion thru observations.

2.) 18 Oct 2017 17:40:46
You are unquestionably on the up Raver mate, Poch has done a brilliant job but wether he or anyone will be able to take you to the next level waits to be seen.
I think you will be right in the thick of the title race into late April early May for the 3rd successive season and to me that would make you the most consistent club in the league over the past 3 seasons.
I've never known a Totenham side to mount any kind of real credible challenge up till Poch taking over, I remember Hoddle and co having about 7 games in hand and if they won them all they would be within 5 points of the league leaders one season :-) , today Spurs are by far the most effective I've ever known that's for sure.

3.) 18 Oct 2017 18:36:39
Thanks gunner you are one of the honest and best posters on this page just like me on the spurs page. I've seen spurs through the 90s and noughties fighting relegation and being utter dross, so obviously I can see us going forward. It's the best times I can remember since the 80s with Hoddle, ardiles etc who were a good side.

4.) 18 Oct 2017 18:51:33
I try my best to say it as I see it Raver mate, Ardilas Hoddle and co were pretty but a cup side at best mate, the class of 2015/ 16 16/ 17 and 17/ 18 are extremely different to any other Spurs teams I've seen mate.
Wembley might not work in your favour but I still think you will keep City and Utd on their toes well into April and possiblely even into May.

5.) 18 Oct 2017 19:55:29
I said in August that spurs will be the only threat to the Manchester clubs and I got shot down gunner. I'm not biased as Arsenal are to inconsistent, Chelsea have big injury's and lost Costa but if they get the injured players sorted they will be definitely challenging, and Liverpool are only 4 defenders away from being title winners imo.

6.) 18 Oct 2017 19:58:55
As much is it pains me, I have to agree with much of the sentiment here. Spurs look a very capable outfit with more than a few outstanding players. I disagree about Poch, I think he has shown every indication that he can take them to the next level, the question is whether the club match his ambition in spending on players, and keeping who they have when Madrid and others come knocking. Whatever they achieve this season, the crucial test for their future is off the field in the summer!

7.) 18 Oct 2017 20:55:06
Seen it and heard it all before, wasn't Rednapp the last toot messiah? You have to go back to the early 1980's when the toot were on a similar footing to Arsenal, that's approaching 40 years ago. Since we installed George Graham as manager in 1986 we have won many trophies, built new training facilities and a state of the art paid for stadium. Toot got left behind and hardly won a thing in the same period. It will take them at least a decade or two to emulate our successes during that period, which I very much doubt they will do. Even now when we have been going through a tricky period we have won 3 FA Cups and 3 Community Shields over the last 4 seasons, which is success the toot can only dream of. I have supported Arsenal through thick and thin, fortunately in recent decades it has been a great time to be a gooner and a very sad time to be a toot. Yes, I am fortunate to enjoy a good lifestyle, which beats rusty Subaru's, Edmonton Council Estates and supporting a team that has failed for decades. Go on let us all into your embarrassing secret, list the trophies won by the toot during your lifetime, my guess is you will be too cowardly to do so, as at best it's one League Cup! A team, a manager and a supporter that have won nothing! 1961!

8.) 18 Oct 2017 20:56:15
Spot on Heybridge. Pochettino has been a manager for over 8 years and has won absolutely nothing. Top managers win things when they are far younger than he is and as he approaches 46, if he fails to win anything he will confirm my thoughts that he simply gets his team fit, sets his team out well and denies opponents space. Does he have the special qualities that managers such as Mourinho, Guardiola, etc have? Not in my opinion. He suits the Toot being a trophyless manager, managing a trophyless team.

9.) 18 Oct 2017 20:30:23
Yep - Spurs look solid in defence and midfield while being dangerous in attack. They have golden boots upfront to make something out of nothing which is also important. Their side has height and strength like our team of old while be offensively dangerous. They are actually a good side to watch.
Congrats to Sours and no more love in from me.

10.) 18 Oct 2017 20:45:41
I agree Urban it's the clubs spending limits that may ultimately be the deciding factor wether Poch or anyone can take them to the next level, If it can be done for me Poch is by far the most likely candidate to do it if anyone can.
To retain players Spurs are going to have to increase their current wage structure and I don't think they have start offering 250k plus just 100 to 150k would be enough to make most of the current best 14/ 15 player's if not all stay together for the next few seasons.
The 70k figure being rumoured as their limit will be their downfall if they stick to it not Poch.
As we know better than most if you count the pennies to much it can intimately cost you not just £s but your reputation for having any serious ambition.
If Spurs get it right off the pitch we Arsenal fans could be in for a very uncomfortable few years of stick with only our ancient history in football terms to fall back on.
To Gooners 2004 lingers on but to the general footballing world it's about as relevant in today's game as the pager or fax machine are in the world of communication.
Those readers under 20 might have to use a search engine to know what a fax machines pagers and invincibles were back in the day.

11.) 18 Oct 2017 22:04:36
R. G. if pochetinho had the net spend of mourinho and guardiola he would be winning things, look at what man city and Utd spend compared to spurs is on another level that's why they are winning things. I noticed my chaufferd cars and private planes going to watch Arsenal got up your skin bobby bullcrapper lol.

12.) 19 Oct 2017 09:11:33
Seriously raver61 get a hold of yourself, you never get under my skin, you are simply amusing to ridicule. As I say Pochettino is a perfect fit for the toot, a trophy-less manager for a trophy-less team. Whilst he has been busy winning absolutely nothing at the toot, under pressure Wenger has still added more trophies to the Arsenal cabinet.

Unfortunately there are no trophies handed out for a 1-1 draw in the group stages of the CL. For fear of repeating myself the manager to watch is Marco Silva, some 5 years younger than Pochettino and only 6 years in management he has already won trophies with Estonia, Sporting and Olympiacos. The time to big it up is when your team actually win a trophy, something that has eluded them for years. 1961 says it all.

13.) 19 Oct 2017 10:20:44
You said poch is not on guardiolas or mourinho level is plain stupid, guaediola has manged Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now mega rich city. While Jose has managed mega rich Chelsea, man Utd, real Madrid inter Milan most top managers would win trophies with those clubs lol. What poch has done is take spurs from being a top 6 club to challenging for the league every year on a small budget he's also never lost to Arsenal lol.

14.) 20 Oct 2017 07:02:18
RG, talk me though your last two games in the champions league? yes I'm over the moon with a 1-1 draw away with a depleted team to probably the most successful team in Europe, only your rivalry and bitterness prevents you from saying that was positive.

If history is all you have to retain any sort of class, then you are scraping the barrel. where's any positive modern day prediction or analysis of your team?

I predict you'll finish 6th and we will finish 3rd, over to you.

15.) 20 Oct 2017 07:02:02
The thing is raver you have to do it every season not just once or twice, the top four have been winning the league between us for the last 20 years. Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, arsenal, and unlike some of the arsenal fans in this page you seem to ruffle there feathers a lot on this page and it makes me laugh.

16.) 20 Oct 2017 14:10:45
Spot on jelfy we have to compete regularly not just every now and then, as for ruffling feathers i'm like a nasty boil on R. G. s bum he just can't rub away.

17 Oct 2017 21:40:02
R. G. we look a team in total pain lol, we just went to real Madrid with a weakened team and played them off the park. I'm off to get smashed on estrella and take a few senoritas back to the hotel to boost the Spanish population.

the raver

1.) 17 Oct 2017 21:48:53
Cant knock it raver. I see kane missed a sitter on purpose. didn't want to upset his new employer.

2.) 17 Oct 2017 21:50:12
Nice result and well done / now you must build on it at Wembley.

3.) 17 Oct 2017 22:53:24
With Liverpool and City winning its looking like another very good week for the premier league over to Utd and Chelsea to keep it going, no pressure then :-)

4.) 17 Oct 2017 22:57:01
Steve 😁😁😁.

5.) 18 Oct 2017 10:53:57
Just landed at Luton airport thanks to Easyjet and I've noticed R. G. has not been seen since I posted last night from Madrid. I'm sure he's belonging to the late Paul Daniels as he vanishes quite a lot as Paul would say THAT'S MAGIC.

6.) 18 Oct 2017 11:32:29
Well done for playing them off the park - wasn’t your keeper man of the match?

7.) 18 Oct 2017 12:46:08
Anyone know what time the open top bus parade is scheduled to start, I assume they’ll want to show off the Trophy.

8.) 18 Oct 2017 12:57:53
It's lucky Arsenal were not playing the biggest club in world football as they would have embarrassed English football again, remember last year Bayern Munich 10 arsenal 2.

9.) 18 Oct 2017 13:04:41
Perfect goal yes lloris is world class and pulled of a unbelievable save but didn't navas pull off two one on ones and was a lot busier than Hugo boss, I just wish we had wanyama, dembele and dele alli in midfield as it would have been even more comfortable for us.

10.) 18 Oct 2017 13:46:42
Oh dear raver61 embarrassing yourself by celebrating a 1-1 draw as though the toot had actually won a trophy! Pretending to be in Madrid, whilst in reality you were in your Mum's 1 bed council flat in Edmonton with your babysitter, sipping a glass of warm milk. I adore this time of year when toot fans emerge from the woodwork in the delusion that they may actually win a trophy, which makes the pain of their certain failure even more enjoyable. Of course the pain continues at the lane and now Wembley. To think the toot last won the league nearly 60 years ago, the FA Cup nearly 30 years ago and even the league cup nearly a decade ago. How does it feel to be too young to have ever witnessed a trophy won by the toot? 1961, yes 1961!

11.) 18 Oct 2017 14:05:14
RG61 😂😂😂.

12.) 18 Oct 2017 14:17:21
Oh dear raver61, embarrassing yourself as usual by celebrating a 1-1 draw as though you had actually won a trophy! Pretending to be in Madrid opposed your mum's 1 bed council flat in run down Edmonton with your babysitter and a bed glass of warm milk. I adore this time of year when the toot fans are still able to dream of actually winning a trophy. It makes the reality of failure all the more delicious. Of course the pain at the lane and Wembley just goes on. 1961.

13.) 20 Oct 2017 07:04:39
RG, you pinning all hopes on the FA cup again? Or do you dream of that 4th place that you believe to be success only to get through the CL league and fail YET AGAIN at the knock out stage.

14 Oct 2017 20:14:29
It's the raver coming through in his famous Subaru to see how deluded R. G. is feeling yet again after another defeat, well R. G. I'm feeling like Tony the tiger from Kelloggs frosties and I'm feeling GrrREAT lol. I'm now looking forward towards Tuesdays trip to Madrid to see spurs v Madrid followed by drinking the tapas bars dry and having plenty of senoritas to take back to the hotel.

Gunner there is not enough people in the world like that anymore. I remember when we were kids we repected everyone and I used to cut all the gardens for the elderly and carry their shopping bags off the bus etc but today society are to busy looking at their phones. Next time I'm out in going to give my clothes away as well even if i end up walking down oxford street naked, but one thing I'll be keeping is that famous car of mine as I just can't part with the Subaru.
