Yes G62, as that would have meant we would have won the PL or the FA Cup. Seems you are finally managing to understand. Over-excited at the prospect of seeing your 5 minutes of highlights later tonight? Perhaps not as the Carabao Cup isn't on MofTD.

Yes RG you are finally educating me into understanding what you've known for years mate
I think I'm finally raady for you to reveal the name of that club you very successfully managed at a very high level?

To clarify my football career, I played for an Isthmian league club and a South Midlands Minerva League club, was offered terms by Watford, which my parents refused to allow me to accept, as they insisted that I finished my education. I successfully managed a team for which one of my sons played for, managed the league representative side and took my coaching badges.
Presumably you had a far more successful football career, please enlighten us.

Hi Banbury, the clean sheet in a cup competition is of less consequence as long as we score one more than our opponents. The goal itself was a quality goal and I am not sure could have been stopped. The wall was well placed and Leno well positioned. The positive thing is that we are scoring goals, with the exception of the opener against Man C we have scored 2 or more goals in every match, with goals coming from all over the team. There seems an intensity about the team and we are looking fitter with goals coming in the second half of most matches and no noticeable decline in energy levels. The muscular injuries are reduced, with only 3 injuries at present: Koscileny pre-Emery, Maitland-Niles a break and one sole muscular injury to Mavropanos. I am enjoying watching us under Emery, but feel we need to tweak the midfiled 3 over the window or two. I can see Ramsey departing and unless Ozil ups his game, it may be wise to move him on and replace him.

No no my friend I only played local league level and only managed at youth level which again was only in local lads league, but then again neve claimed to do differently much like I never claimed to have the ability to be in two different countries at the same time mate.
What level did your son play at? Because your initial claim all those months ago was to have managed very successfully at a very high level?
Have you seen that new TV programme the Circle RG?
I've a feeling whoever came up with the concept for that show reads your posts mate :-)

You mistakenly claim that I managed at a high level, which is incorrect. I may have claimed that I was a successful manger, which is true, as the team I managed for my son won the double for the three consecutive seasons that I managed them and the chairman of the league asked me to manage the league representative side. I did play at a relatively high level as I have explained.
Can't say I have seen the programme you mentioned. It amuses me that instead of discussing football matters, opinions, etc, some people feel they must try to put people down, instead of explaining their own thoughts.

I'm very happy to swap thoughts and opinions with you RG mate and if your happy to stick to reality rather try to and give the impression of superiority over others by inventing fiends and a lifestyle that you think will make look more intelligent than others.
Some of your posts are quite interesting and sometimes you make some really valid points on subjects and it's only when you try to give the impression of superiority with your extraordinary claims that you lose all credibility which is a shame.
Just be you RG and just be prepared not to have be right on everything, no one will think less of you for it mate, you are a really good poster when your you and allowing others an equal opinion.

Just love the thought of RG stroking his chin inventing Fiends! Truly an international man of mystery! Keep posting RG I read what you post don’t agree with all but then what do I know, I agreed with Steve once 😂.

Other than obvious wind ups in the Raver61 days, the rest is simply the truth.
I have explained my playing career. I live next door a professional player and many Arsenal and Toot players live and have lived in my area, Hadley Wood, Herts.
I have been and am friends with professional players and agents. Agents such as Phil and Jon Smith and Jerome Anderson. Players such as Rocastle (we both lived in Mill Hill at the time) , Charlie Nicholas, Dale Banton (retired player, who played for West Ham, Aldershot, York, etc) , Toby Alderweirald (lives close me now) , etc
I have a pilots licence and own a plane which I keep at Elstree aerodome. I have homes in Monte Carlo, Paris and Milan (wife is Italian) . I drive a Porsche 911. I gained a degree in Economics at City University. I have opinions, and really welcome other people's opinions. It's irritating when people try and put people down, they learn nothing and add nothing to any discussions. The time I was away and an Ed stated that I wasn't, was nothing but the truth. I spend time abroad quite regularly. I am not an IT expert, but I use various methods of getting on line, such as mobile, ipad, broadband and I have a chip in my ipad which I use when I have to. How this affects by IP address is beyond my knowledge, but I can assure you, if I said I was abroad I was!

RG there are things I could come back to you with but between us we are beginning to sound like Thumber and Dummer, me obviously being the Dummer of the two :-)
Your point of view is as valid as anyone's and you really don't need the stories be them real or invented to make your opinion heard or respected even if people don't always agree with them.

Good habits though, I’m now in the mind set we will always concede, irrelevant if it’s a cup game . Tighten up.

BG, its not so much conceding but the manner we concede. Attitude to defending has changed but we are struggling to change ours. Hopefully mislintat is on it.

Apart from Mustafi and Guendouzi it's players who have all been subs at best under Dick so far mate.
Should be enough but as United found out last night you never know.

Would like to see Welbeck and Holding integrated into the first team. Mustafi routinely looks lost out there and is good for 1-3 bone-headed, potentiallly match-costing plays every start. Put Welbeck on the right wing. Will get goals and provide much more defensively than Ozil will. Should be either/ or with Ozil and Ramsey, not both.

Not looking very happy in the united camp at all. Press swarming like flies, uncomfortably looking scenes on the training ground and alexis Sanchez also looking lost.

I think its going to be fun over the next few weeks and months. Sanchez on mega bucks for peanuts, pogba the green eyed monster and maureen the mardy. What a well run club they were.

Let’s hope we don’t make such a massive mess of the post Wenger years as they have the Fergie years.

They have brought so badly and wasted 100’s of millions to be worse than ever.

How much money and how many managers is it going to take to sort it all out.

26 Sep 2018 18:49:53
The biggest laugh is sanchez is the highest paid player in the prem, they let pogba go for ziltch and bought him back for zillions and maureen has just signed a new 5 year contract. What person sorted that lot out.

When Jose first returned to this country with Chelsea he developed and encouraged a siege mentality with his players where it was him and his team against the world.
Now he's developed a siege mentality where it's Jose against everyone and everything including his own players club and employers.
The season after wining the title with Chelsea he started looking for trouble where ever he could get it and he hasn't stopped since, I'm not sure how much more of it United will allow to happen at their club.

His charming ultra self confidence turned into insecure arrogance during his time in Italy and Spain Steve.
He's been at war with everyone after his time at Inter and Real.

All that stuff with the Chelsea doctor seemed to kick start an endless stream of picking unnecessary fights with Luke Shaw being replaced by Pogba as his favourite punch bag currently.
