Hi Ed002

Hope your well

Have you any Arsenal information regarding Wengers replacement.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - The club want a further year to give them a chance of one their preferred choices of a replacement. If they have to change this summer it will probably need to be a B list choice of a couple they have in mind. It is not worth getting in to detail just yet.}

Thanks ed.

Ed in your opinion, are the A list managers worth waiting for?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - A tentative enquiry through a third party to the preferred choice has resulted in Arsenal being told that an approach would not be welcome. After that it is very difficult to distinguish between the preferred options and what might happen this year.}

Arsenal v Spurs
Chelsea v Everton
Liverpool v Watford
City are the only top 7 team not playing another this weekend, points are going to be dropped somewhere by someone that's for sure.

{Ed002's Note - Wow, "points are going to be dropped somewhere".}

Exciting match tomorrow, really looking forward to it.
The keeper and back four picks itself, with Bellerin and Monreal returning.
I would like to see Coquelin and Xhaka in front of the defence.
The attacking midfield trio of Ramsey, Ozil and Sanchez and Giroud up top.
I would keep the pac of Walcott and Ox in reserve for later in the match. I would predict a narrow Arsenal win.

I'm not even going there with making a prediction, it's a Derby, form goes out the window and the spuds are capable of doing good things on their day.

They need something to kick their confidence off as I think they, to a degree, are still nursing a hang over from last seasons capitulation and what better game than this with every man and his dog predicting an Arsenal win.

I know exactly what I don't want to see from us and it's another one of our lame starts, like ludagrets.

Be on it from the first to the last and earn a win. They are not going to give it away.

Your right of course Red they are not unbeaten for no reason and are a very decent team who have struggled to score without their main man Kane but what team wouldn't miss having their 20+ premier league goals a season striker available.
I just think their under a lot of pressure from thier fans and media after so many draws and thier terrible champions league campaign so far, its a big test of thier character tomorrow and in many ways ours too, if we want to be champions we need to forget it's a Derby and concentrate 100% on getting the 3pts.

Aaron Ramsey has done absolutely nothing to justify a place on the bench, let alone the starting eleven. I struggle to appreciate the quality people see in him. The only time I would ever consider Ramsey starting is when we have no choice due to injuries. He is lower down the pecking order than Elneny and Xhaka for me and would be extremely lucky to make the bench if all players are fit.

He shouldn't play out of position just to find a place for him that's for sure, this has been one of Arsene most stubborn faults in the past but Arsene he has shown signs he's open to change and addressing his mistakes already this season so let's hope the penny has dropped on this one too.

Ramsey on his current form is my concern too, don't want him on the wing instead of either Walcott or the Ox and don't see him ahead of anyone else in midfield like you say Rue.

This is where Wenger still really concerns me. We have a clear winning formula and I'm not sure I'd start Giroud either.

It's a big game, big games mean best starting 11 and the only place up for grabs right now is Cazorla's and only if he's still injured.

I fully agree with Ramsey. he is lucky to make a bench at this time. should we just take off in form Theo for him? no way.

The problem with Ramsey is that Wenger insists on playing him wide right, when he clearly lacks the pace and trickery to play in that role. However, he is such a good footballer that he gets away with it. He really needs to play in a more central attacking role, the problem is that Ozil currently occupies that role.

Obviously Ramsey should not be in the first 11 but a must on the bench! Games like Spurs could be ideal for an off the bench impact. But tomorrow is a hard one to predict. Spurs haven't been beat in the league but they have been beat this season and I think a loss will be detrimental for the spuds Tommorow.

I guess Arsene could play Aaron next to Le Coq in place of Caz, not something I'd do myself but if Ramsey is going to start I'd rather see him there than out wide.

Isn't Cazorla fit?
If so he has to be in the team, we flow so much easier with him in the middle.

Cazorla not in any of the training photos so pretty certain he won't be playing. 🙁.

If we scrap a 1-0, courtesy of the ball deflecting off Ed025's rather large derriere, I will take that.

Love you really Ed 😁.

{Ed025's Note - its not that big really dags..well not compared to my gut.. :)

My thoughts exactly Ed 😁.

Ramsey will be selected wide right. I beleve the two DM players will be Coquelin and Santi (if fit) or Xhaka if Santi isn't fit. The sole decision Wenger will make is whether to play Sanchez wide and Giroud up top or Iwobi wide and Sanchez up top. It's a tricky decision. The two more experienced pairing looks best for a derby, but that reduces the impact that Giroud could make from the bench. Imagine we need an impact change, we could unleash Giroud and Walcott for Ramsey and Iwobi.
