Absolutely agree mate, we've stopped buying high tech gadgets for our house to go along with the other high tech gadgets we all ready had and are now buying carpets curtains table and chairs, not exactly exciting but ultimately will make for a happier better functioning home.

G62, Your analogies 😁😁.

A mansion with all the high tech gadgets will still be better then a 3 bed semi with a second hand boiler and washing machine though? At some point you need to start building that extension whilst kitting it out with a brand new kitchen! When would be a better time than before the new owner moves in? Show him that it's a property worth making his forever home? Currently it's more like a 2 year lease without the approval to decorate.

The new tenants have only just moved in mate, they've inherited house in a state of disrepair and don't have billions to do everything they would ideally like to do straight away so they will mix and match best they can just to get the place liking like a proper home that has carpets as well as all singing all dancing technology but no electricity supply to run them with.
Anyone expecting to win house of the year this season is going to be disappointed but we could well get the most improved award that Klopp and Poch have been sharing :-)

I know Dags mate, it's a strange world I live in, but I like it :-)

I know mate, it's how my brain works :-)
When I left school my first job was advertised as paying £32 a week but my mind immediately thought ummm 160 pints a week :-)
Then it dawned on me I had to pay my parents 35 pints a week board which meant I had to stay in on Tuesday and Wednesday nights :-)

Gareth Southgate says the perfect response to racial abuse would be for the England players to walk off the pitch, if they did that it would be a bigger and better statement than winning the world cup could ever be.
The world cup shouldn't be in Russia or any other country with a poor record on racial abuse but if every team was to leave the field at the first sign of abuse then this could be the last time fifa do the wrong thing for the wrong reasons.

Maybe every country should be as amazing as the uk g62 and we wouldn’t have any trouble whatsoever mate. Not all those racist Russians who don’t deserve a World Cup like the rest of civilised Europe.

Scotland did one better - we refused to attend.

06 Jun 2018 23:27:14
Not sure I understood that Sanago? I know the UK isn't perfect or blameless but we have thankfully come a long long way forward even if we still a long way to go yet, but Russia and many other eastern European countries are where we were in the 60s and 70s and the states has terrible problems they should concentrate on before lecturing anyone else on human rights
Walking off the pitch is one way but not attending the Russian world cup at all would have been better still.

What about the millions of Russians who don’t act like morons? Should they not be allowed a World Cup? I agree if chanting or moronic behaviour occurs then walk off if that’s what the players want to do! Wasn’t there a World Cup in South Africa? Do you know many white South Africans? I do and most of them that I know still talk in horrible ways about black people. My point is that you get idiots everywhere. If russia fail to police and organise things properly then the players have a choice to make, and I’d support that!

South Africa was a very different country to its horrible past in 2010 mate.
Would it be right to allow the US to hold a world sporting invent under Donald Trumps administration where so many people from around the world are not welcome?
Russia got the world cup on Blasters watch which was coming to an end which is why they rushed through announcing the 2022 world cup too.
Both world cups are in the wrong countries for the wrong reasons and I look forward to the day when every country in the world is capable of holding a fantastic world cup which is open and safe for people from every corner of the world to attend equally without fear, unfortunately that isn't Russia 2018 in my opinion.

i met a russian a few weeks back and he seemed pretty horrified with what was going on in his country, i think it was after 1600 people were detained for demonstrating against putin.

Typical arsenal, everyone else goes shopping at harrodds and we go to Adli.

You can't beat a bit of aldi mate
28 day matured 8oz sirloin for £3.49 or M&S 6oz sirloin for £7.49? and with the £4 you saved you can have yet another all day breakfast:-)

06 Jun 2018 17:27:40
I didn’t know Aldi give things away for free 😂
Joking aside I don’t think it’s the worst idea in the world. From what I can gather Lichtensteiner is a dedicated athlete and grounded. Maybe money isn’t as free as it has been and they are having to be a little savvy with the signings. I’m sure some others will come in ov.

I still think we will see relatively big signings but we are making sure we get what we need before we go all out on what we want, extremely sensible and extremely positive.
If we need 5 but would like 7 and have 150 millions to get them all with it makes sense to spend on what you need first then treat yourself with what's money is left over on the two you would ideally like.
It's been a while since we had such a good approach in my opinion as in recent years we've been far too attack focused in the transfer market.

Adli on a free would be a brilliant signing. Nothing wrong with signing one of the best touted youngsters for nothing! Some say he’s good enough to play at the level of the prem but obviously just needs more experience 👌🏻.

06 Jun 2018 21:06:49
Only one way to get experience Glen!
We've seen good prospects like Jay Emanuel Thomas and Jay Simpson go to championship sides do well then fail to make the grade in the premier league, if their good enough their old enough like Rooney was and Rushford is.

You bagged a few there Ben. 😂😂.

07 Jun 2018 08:14:30
Exactly, come and train with the first team and if he makes a good impression then why can't he hit the ground running? At the very least he will play a big part in the under 21's and 23's. Nothing wrong with young talent for nout!

Gardiola must be worth a cheeky bet in the sack race this coming season.
Ranieri Mourinho Conte were all as good as sacked after winning the title, I know technically Conte got through the season but he's been as good as sacked since around November last year.
I'm not sure what odds you'd get of Pep getting the boot but at a guess you'd have to think 100/ 1 right now but it seems English football doesn't have a lot of time for title winning managers right now.
