Wenger has come out and blamed the defensive performance for last nights fiasco, I agree but when will he be man enough to put his hands up and blame himself for not bringing in a replacement for the defensive players that he let go and more to the point a defensive midfielder to PROTECT his fragile back four. Only one man to blame. he signs the players, he picks the team and he sets out the tactics. .
1.) The worse bit is that AW used to play as a defender/sweeper
I'm not one of AW out brigade but for someone who likes to be the boss off the pitch you would think after they scored their first that he would have instructed his players to defend!

I think most people, whether Arsenal related or not, know that our defensive deficiencies are down to Wenger.
3.) Everyone but the only person who matters and who has the power to change it knows its all down to Arsene, now that is depressing :-(

only 7 prem games gone and all teams have been beaten. goes to show what a feat it was for the invincibles. all season . awesome.

I feel that wenger needs to sign a goalkeeper urgently, as much as I like Szczesny I feel he has become overconfident and cocky over the past year or so due to the fact he hasn't had anyone of quality to push him for his place. poor goalkeeping spreads lack of confidence throughout the rest of the team.Top clubs Need Top class keepers.
1.) I completely agree and for now I believe Fabianski should be our No.1 he commands his box and the defence which cannot be said for Szczesny.
2.) Personally I don't think we will qualify, god only knows where we go after that

4.) Yes, we need to take of the rose tinted class he is a very poor goalkeeper and I can name 20 keepers better them him just in England, proberley not in the top 100 worldwide, but gets paid a world class wage for being very average
