Hey guys, long time voyeur and occasional poster. Just heard the news that Callum Hudson Odoi may move to Leverkusen. Could we sneak in for Diaby? . I read somewhere (or heard) that Edu and or Arteta are really keen!? . Anyway, have a great day everyone.

Hey guys. seems like the pepe thing is done, may be a straight shoot out between Neto and Diaby, if Hudson Odoi moves too Leverkusen. Thanks for the welcome guys, I'm good for a watch thanks brosif. The weather is not so bad in Ontario, +25 in the summer -25 in the winter. Anyway back to football, and I just want to add I'm not for tielemans. if we are going to upgrade I think we go Savic!

No Ramsey in the 11 and we go back to winning ways. Swap wally with iwobi for the next match and then stick for a few games. Ramsey is a good player I just think our team is now to fast for him. How did granit do guys only caught the last 15mins. The best 15 Hahaha. Have a good w/ end gooners.

So. would we be happy with le coq and this bielik boy, and another defender for this transfer window?
1.) Until the summer, yes. Then replace Flamini and Arteta with a top a class dm and our squad would look very strong.
2.) Yup, the team is taking a nice shape, could be in the mix on several fronts. I have us looking at 3rd and deep runs in the CL and FA Cup. Still, need that one solid CB for the rotation and we are good to go.

This is not a knock on Coq (he has really taken his opportunity with two hands), but I think we still need a stand out DM. Coq is great back up for a number of positions and I love his heart, but more of an able deputy than an everyday player for me.
And we need at least one top centre back. Great game today, so happy after the results yesterday.
4.) Truth is its too soon to say. We don't and shouldn't do kneejjerk reactions, but rely on long term evidence. But we do need another dm, because arteta or flamini, would not have done what the coq did today. My suggestion would be if it is true we have agreed summer move for sneiderling, him and coq could have a bright future.

Great game of footy that, jack looks like he is actually stepping up his progress and form, just feel we could of won that by a margin had we a proper dm . Anyway, all in all can't complain. Bit light defensively once u look past our starting defenders.worry worry

1.) With 5hrs left I would snap your hand off for Bony and Vlaar who are good premier league players.

Well Chambers was signed as an RB, but Wenger admitted after the match yday he was surprised to see him take to the CB role so well.
We still need further cover so that's where Manoloas comes in. But between RB and CB Chambers will see no shortage of games I'd say.
Personally I don't rate Manoloas but if he is to be signed it's as 3rd/4th choice. World Class players don't want to sit on the bench so I don't think he's bad for what we want him to do. Also at 23 he has plenty of time to develop.
Whether he's seen as a long term replacement for Kos/Mert who are 29 and 30 by the end of the September. Manolas at 23 should be hitting his peak as they should be stepping down so we will see.

Real Madrid have Pepe, Varane and Ramos. Bayern have Boateng, Dante and Javi Martinez. Chelsea have Cahill, Ivanovic and Terry.
Why can't we have 3 top CBs all competing for the 2 starting positions? Manolas seems like a step backwards as Vermaelen was much more capable. I say we try bring in Howedes, Caceres, Miranda, Subotic. Someone of that quality.

Fair point Detroit but Varane is youngster who only came through last season. Terry is old now and on the way out and Martinez has opportunities more so in the midfield.
Personally I'd love Nasatisc. Bould would have a few years to groom the next great Arsenal defence! Chambers/Nasa :P
