Hi ed

According to the papers Arsenal are interested in Lavezzi. Would be the ideal signing as he showed against Chelsea. Although at the age of 29 he is no spring chicken. Have you heard anything of these rumours? Are they plausible?

Htrain

{Ed002's Note - There is some general interest in Lavezzi from Chelsea, Milan and Napoli - and it is expected that Zenit may well look to the player again. His representative visited London and spoke with Arsenal and Chelsea in March. PSG were looking to move him on to raise funds but are now looking for a new contract as they are moving others on. It would not be a surprise to see interest from others if he performs well in Brazil.}

1.) The fee involved for the player and the age means that he will probably not sign for Arsenal.

25 mill euros atleast plus his wages.

2.) But we're supposedly putting a 25m bid for balotelli? Maybe he is a alternative. If that's true

Hi guys,

New poster used to go by the name kb but had someone with the same name. Stopped posting when you had to register as I just haven't had a chance. But I have still been reading the site regularly.

I was just thinking of players to fill our LW position. We have been heavily linked with the likes of Griezemann however I think Cuadardo would be our best option. Some may accuse me of world cup fever however he has been very impressive in Serie A this year for Fiorentina. He offers genuine peace and trickery. He shouldn't be massively expensive like Di Maria but I reckon he could still make a big difference and would definitely be one to excite the fans.

Thank You

May this be the first post of many and may the transfer window finally be a positive one for arsenal.

Htrain

{Ed002's Note - Juan Guillermo Cuadrado is no longer an option.}

1.) Do you have any idea why Ed always been a fan of his since his udinese days is just what we need, cheers

{Ed002's Note - Barcelona were looking to replace Dani Alves with Cuadrado but due to the delay in the sale of Alves have lost out to Fiorentina for the player.}

2.) So barca want to play him at rb

Hi guys,

Ahead of sundays game with liverpool has anyone heard anything further on the ox or walcott. All the news sources just say they will be judged by a late fitness test. Did wenger mention anything at his press conference? Ed what do you reckon the chances are for wither of them playing. Thank you

Htrain

1.) 20 Dec 2014 11:14:12
Pretty much as you have, the Ox is a late test, Walcott has travelled and may feature.

2.) 20 Dec 2014 12:27:50
As above,

They may get some game time, depending how the result is going, me thinks.

Hi ed
The papers seem to be continually linking us with a move for Casillas. Is there any truth in these rumours.

Thank You

Htrain

{Ed027's Note - Nope, he will stay at Real Madrid

1.) Hope so, he's not great!

Sterling is just pure pace with very little end product. A few years and injuries later and he will be in the same position as Walcott. Not good enough technically to be a world beater.

Would hold you breath pal. Has trademark Wenger written all over it. Perrin looks very much like a squlliaci-esque signing to me.

Sorry for the pessimism but I am a realist.

I think the emergence of Ospina has showed us just how poor Shez really is and how points he was costing us. Should be sold in the summer and not play the Cup final.

How many of those goals have been in the world cup when we need him most.

Aurier. Two assists with very Sagna like crosses. Also looked defensively solid.
