Greetings Arsenal fans,
LFC fan here.
Fantasy time now but just interested in your opinion on which 3 LFC players (if any!) you would take if you could (ignore Suarez as I presume he's a cert).
If I had to take 3 AFC players it would be Ramsey, Koscielny and Sagna.
Would have included Ozil and Wilshere but it's in defence where we are weaker.
1.) Without being bias toward arsenal, but I'd only really have 2, Henderson and Suarez.

If Suarez is not available I would have Sturridge Stirling and Henderson, 3 with massive futures

4.) Personally only coutinho probably not even Suarez
5.) We'd be foolish to take Suarez, after the attempt last summer to sign him I think the world sat back and appreciated how disloyal he is. At Arsenal we have had too many of his type, we don't need another RVP.
I would take Sturridge, he may be too selfish but he'll learn, especially under Wenger. The only other player I would take is Mignolet as back up to Sczcesny, as I fear we might lose Fabianski in the summer.
Sterling is like another Aaron Lennon, his decision making is poor, but then again Theo turned that around and he's still very young.
Oh and of course we'd take Gerrard.
6.) Suarez is a no-brainer. Not Sturridge though - he is fantastic but Giroud, Podolski and Suarez would be more than enough!
I would still go for Gerrard - he's been spectacular this season and developed into the kind of deep-lying midfielder that I think would work fantastically for us.
Finally, odd choice but I'd go for Sakho. Has huge potential and squad depth at CB is a bit of a problem for us.

Tell me Arsenal fans are you getting worried?
You have signed nobody and have lost out on Higuain and Suarez (Henry has said he won't sell to Arsenal). You have wasted 3/4 weeks chasing a player (Suarez) who you never had a chance of getting.
Spurs & Liverpool have signed 3/4 players each.
There are only 3 weeks left in the window and as things stand all you will be challenging for is 4th again.
Wake up and smell the coffee - your board and manager have no ambition (they do have lost of cash though. eh your cash ha ha)

3.) Guess anybody with a bit of power in a club stating that a player won't be sold to a club is concrete evidence that the transfer won't come to fruition?
Where oh where are Cesc and Nasri then?
4.) We will see on September 2nd about the signings Arsenal have made and we will see in May about Arsenal's season.
Arsenal have placed in the top 4 in every season since Wenger took over.
I think rumours of Arsenal's demise are greatly exaggerated and have been for much of the last 8 seasons.
Realistically from next season forward we will be the 5th highest grossing team in world football. No points on guessing the 4 ahead of us.
And if UEFA has any stones PSG and Monaco will be banned from UEFA competitions and may stop inflating the market. (Man Citeh is also probably not safe from that).
If third party ownership is banned in Europe, it will also work to our benefit and hurts teams in countries where it has until now been legal.
Of course, Arsenal would still have to use the money wisely, but cetris paribus Spurs and Liverpool are losing their window to usurp our position (and neither has built their new stadium yet).
So Janman, post again in September about our lack or signing and again in May if Liverpool or Spurs made the top 4 at our expense.
Until then go back to your own page and stop trolling gooners.

5.) LOL!. Ok buddy every season at the start we get written off only to come back and sit where? Oh that's right in top 4 infront of Sp*rs & LFC and playing in Champions. While your laughing now, You'll be crying later as We be laughing at the end of the season.
All I can be thankfull for is the deadwood that's moved on and were weighing as down if only we could tie Bendtner to it and throw him over a bridge that would be even better.
Silly people posting way too early only to have their beloved club watching us in Champions with our lack signings. Must be hard.

LOL! Never worried, the thing you must realise is we always get told we won't make top 4 in the opening season by Sp*rs & Reds fans reports write us off, but somehow while everyone is laughing us off we stroll in to top 4 even with the players we have.
The thing i'm most grateful for is ridding ourselves of the dead wood and the stadium debt, now we can only up. Our seasons showed that we were lacking spot in the team while everyone had their best players yet we still qualify for Champions every year.
So no i'm not worried yeah we need to improve out squad but I also know our squad will Top 4 and in Champions this season.

Sorry lads - LFC fan here - this is just lazy reporting by the Mirror who are clearly as bored as we are now that there's no PL football.
Suarez won't be sold to an EPL rival - whatever about being sold abroad. I reckon he will go next summer and most likely to Madrid.
Arsenal wasted enough of their time during the summer on Suarez. I doubt Wenger will make the same mistake again.
Wow - what a coup. Looks like Arsenal mean business at last. I heard he was wanted by Chelsea and Man U as well.
G95 - as an LFC fan I agree with your sentiments. If your own team is out of the title race why spend much time or effort on posting who you would prefer to win it. We finished 7th last season and deserved nothing more - its a different story this season but when I see Arsenal fans wishing us the best I just can't help but think that maybe there are a lot of AFC fans who don't really believe they can really compete whilst they have a manager who IMO doesn't have the hunger to win things that he used to have.
I know this may rile some AFC fans but why not create some heated debate rather than boring 'all the best' posts: IMO Arsenal are not making progress - if you win the fa cup you will have done so only because because you got home draws in every round along with some generous ref decisions. As soon as you have to play away (sorry neutral ground) you need penalties to beat a championship side.

I don't think you should take too much from City beating United. It doesn't take much to beat that lot at the moment!

Obviously we are hoping you beat City and I don't think you will lose. For whatever reason whenever there is a threat of Arsenal dropping out of the top four you seem to go on a run of positive results to secure that spot.
