United fan here

What do you think about your chances against Chelsea this weekend.

I expect Chelsea to setup in a similar way as they setup against United. You will have 65-70% possession but getting a goal will be difficult. Chelsea will rely on Hazard to run at your defenders and nick a goal.

Mourinho is a master tactition and its ods on he will set up as you say but we can't plan totally for that or well get picked off at will if he plays it differently, I think set ourselves up as we did at city and if they sit back just knock the ball about patiently knowing Mesut and Sanchez will create chances for others at some stage during the game, if its a bore fest who cares if we nick a winner.

Wierd question really, I am backing us to draw or beat them, i do not see us loosing.

I think that Mourinho would have accepted 2 points from these two games so I genuinely don't believe he will mind if he loses to us, he won't want to lose to Wenger, but he'll accept it to win the league.

Van Gaal will have known it was exactly what he was intending to do as will Wenger, we have a good chance of winning but that's all it will amount to, a win.

He knows how to play out the last few games to get over the line.

As you may have seen from Mou's press conferences he is just counting down the points...

Mou would be more than happy with a draw. Sadly, a scoreless draw is probably the most likely result. Chelsea would then need at most 6, but likely 5 points to clinch the title and that is assuming that Arsenal win their remaining games including at OT.

So tactically, Mou will do what Mou does best and set up for a 0-0 draw and force Arsenal to attack; hoping to hit Arsenal on the counter or from a set piece. Chelsea will be terrible to watch, but their tactics will be effective (btw I do not think there is anything wrong with Chelsea playing that way, it is an away game and Arsenal need the win more. It is up to Arsenal to force the game and attempt to score. Sad as it may be to see all that talent on Mou's team be used to set up for a 0-0).

To win, Arsenal will need to be disciplined and not commit too many men forward and Arsenal will need to take their opportunity when it falls to them. The game is a really big test for Coq, Kos, Mert, Ospina, Bellerin, and Monreal.

If Arsenal score first, Mou may actually have to let all that offensive talent he has on the team play football, but if Chelsea score first expect them to simply sit back and soak up pressure for the rest of the game and hope to maintain their lead or seal the game on the counter or another set piece.

Even if Arsenal win though, Chelsea are still getting this title barring an epic collapse (i.e. winning only 2 of their remaining fixtures while losing 2 and drawing 1). It is never going to happen at best a win keeps us on our good run and sets us up nicely for next year.

United fan here,

Hoping for an Arsenal win against Liverpool so that United have a cushion for the 4th spot.

Then we can fight among ourselves to see who finishes 3rd or 4th or dare I say 2nd.

Fair enough Ed.

I am not saying that he has been the best CB in PL and given our initial start to the season we probably had lesser expectations from all of our CBs but at this moment Smalling is certainly exceeding those expectations.

We most certainly will bring in a new CB next season so it will be interesting to see what happens then.

{Ed025's Note - it will MB, if you sort the defense mate you will be challengers next season..

ED025 it seems you haven't seen United games after his sending off against City.

He has been immense for us.

MUMBAI_BOY

{Ed025's Note - i have seen a lot of him MB, and for me he is a very poor player mate, good in the air but positionally inept and his distribution woeful, to be fair he is better than jones and evans, but thats not saying much as those 2 are bordering on pathetic, i do agree that lately his game has improved to that of a championship player, but still not good enough for utd and definitely not arsenal...but thats just my opinion fella..

Probably Jack should not have been on the pitch to receive that tackle given his own antics against Fellaini.

I think the performance based criteria will have to be very very low for Wenger to qualify for it at the end of every season.
