Is it me or does Arsenal's transfer policy fail to excite us?
It seems that by the time we actually sign a player we've been linked with for ever it's like they are not even a new signing.
What's happened to the days when you picked up the paper and on the back page we had made a major signing no-one was expecting? Gone I guess but hopefully not for good, please find us a transfer guru who can bring back the excitement of the transfer window.
David Dein anyone?
SG.

I have always said it bring back David dein. He is tbe missing link. If not him then sum1 of his calibre.

Great result, great perforamnces and great goals but surely the highlight of the match was Koscielny with his shirt on his head during the Mertesacker goal, looked like a kid with a parka hood on!

Take a look at the picture of Paulista on ssn he is definitely the love child of Silvinho and Martin Keown or is it just me?

1.) SG
He will scare more strikers than the great Margret Thatcher.

{Ed025's Note - great??...take that back..scum of the earth you mean!!!!!

2.) 26 Jan 2015 20:31:13
I think you have it spot on SG :-)

3.) 26 Jan 2015 21:08:23
Blimey Welsh,
Ed025 will never be a Thatcher-ite.

Coal miners, Dock workers, Steel workers, petrochemical workers, Shipbuilders, Toxteth and Hillsborough cover-up springs to mind.

Sorry to get political Ed, but I know you boys don't like her, for good reason.

{Ed025's Note - its pure hate dags i can assure you mate..

4.) 26 Jan 2015 21:14:49
I know Ed, one of my mates is a Scouser, he spoke very highly of her (NOT).

{Ed025's Note - i wont get political on here dags, lets pick on spurs.. :)

5.) 26 Jan 2015 21:36:42
Lol, the only thing worse than Thatcher 😆

6.) I'm not having that! Spurs, RVP then thatcher

7.) I have fond memory's of thatcher! We named our dog after ( and yes she was a bitch )

Looks like Afobe is off, permanent move from loan spell at MK Dons.
Can't believe he wasn't given a chance at Arsenal, no actually I can. yet we are prepared to give the likes of Sanogo a chance. There is reportedly a 15%? sell on fee which suggests they think he has something, reminds me of when George Graham let Andy Cole go to Bristol City, he didn't do much now did he?
For what it's worth I have seen Afobe many times at MK this season he looks the part to me!

1.) Lots of things going on that on the face of it don't make sense. We sell these players and end up with chamacks santossers and scillaccis. Very baffelling.

2.) To be fair Wenger rarely gets it wrong when it comes to releasing young players. We have had players like jay Emmanuel thomas, sanchez watt, david Bentley, chucks aneke, Emmanuel frimpomg who were extremely talented youngsters at arsenal but all haven't achieved nothing in the career so far. If Afobe is so good then why isn't a prem team after him?

3.) Its something I was thinking about yesterday Noodles, a couple of years back players like Emanuel and Lansbury were tearing up the championship and looking like stars of the future but now our players are more likely to be loaned to league one teams than championship teams.
Gibbs and Jack are two who have come through but few seem to make the grade anymore

1.) 13 Dec 2014 21:38:59
Slightly before my time but remember my old man talking about them.

SG, you are pushing it a bit, lol.

2.) My first chioce
Sanchez Ozil
Giroud
2 and chioce
Theo Danny
Giroud
Both or mixture of the two are exciting if we can just get those behind them up to that level then we'll take some stopping

3.) I been saying that for a while SG. I used to watch em everyweek give the Ox Georgies way on the wing makes me fill old 😄
