If the daily gossip from the tabloids is correct (?) Reus has stated he will not consider Arsenal as they will NOT win any trophies. I think that encompasses every negative comment on the posts pages!
1.) And if we have only £20M in Jan to spend we have problems.
2.) If it's top medals your after then best maybe look else where as we don't do top medals anymore.
If its the top wages you're after best look elsewhere we never have done those sorts of things here, vulgar
Why would he join us? His international teammates careers haven't exactly blossomed under Arsene would you risk running the same risk

But based on that logic G62 why would any player want to play for any other club apart from say Real Madrid and Chelsea? You might as well shut down all the minor leagues as well.

Gunner62 says how long will it be before AW listens? But who will he listen to? He is so stubborn and will not admit, even to himself, that changes are IMMEDIATELY required and totally necessary.He always knows best! He has stated a dm and cb are required and then, after one good game, that no-one is needed! He has conned all supporters each and every transfer window by stating we are trying for a, b and c for those positions but nothing ever materialises, it is all just hot air and treats the supporters like morons. Unfortunately he is not alone in this, the board spout the same rubbish but rub their hands when NO money is spent. A root and branch clearout is urgently needed, starting with AW and SK! His brilliance in the past is just that, in the past, and SK as a so-called top business man should not accept such failure. I know I am cynical but this board is more concerned with making money from the bank accounts than having a great team!!

I am still pro Wenger, but hanging on by my fingertips, but must admit, that's a very good post.
2.) We are a club and team in trouble at the moment Peter, the people running the club have no passion for football and the man running the team has lost contact with the modern game sticking with a philosophy that's outdated but what he truly believes will come good if he sticks with it long enough.
I guess things may have to get worse before they can get better sadly but to me by far the wosrst thing that can happen is more papering over the cracks.
If we beat utd and are 3rd going into the new year fantastic but we shouldn't accept the obvious problems have now suddenly disappeared fixed them self's by magic, they will continue to be our downfall until there fixed once and for all
No matter what happens between now and January a CB a DM and a LB to cover/prevent Gibbs injury plus get Jenks home are and will remain 100% needed and the absolute minimum requirement, no excuses no reasons just results this January for once
3.) I find it impossible to be pro Wenger now.
He does not sign adequate cover in defence or indeed a much needed holding midfielder.
I really thought after the Anderlect fiasco that he might have learnt he needs to freshen it up when we are WINNING not when we are chasing the game. He continues to play woefully out of sort players without giving others game time and you can best your last dollar he will make excuses after yet another defeat his players are tired.
I will also blame Steve bould as he is like a little boy waiting for permission to speak, if I was the defensive coach and watched us playing with no discipline as we do week in week out I would be up shouting and ordering my instructions. Come on Bouldy grow some balls. .

Stan Kroenke does not care about success pete. Profit is his success, look at his portfolio of clubs. Not one team with ambition but all sit in the band of profitability.
He doesn't need to invest in the club (although we've done so in the last 18mnts to a degree) because so long as we are top 4 our stock will continue to rise with the improving market conditions for EPL teams.
He got the team for a steal and if he wanted to sell he'd easily gt a 1billion quid for it due to the nature of the clubs low expenditure (except for wage) and high commercial earnings.
Expect at some point for our wage system to be overhauled without adding £200,000 a week players.
Excluding big name players our squad are on massively inflated wages for there role in the team, age and quality of player. They could easily knock the wage bill down 25% if they paid market rate for our lesser players.

There was talk MO wants to leave. The way we are playing I would not be surprised if Sanchez will want out, this is NOT an Arsenal team we have come to expect. Changes must be made!!

Cannot agree more with Gunner 62 re AW, and I am even more confused when AW suggests bringing in better defenders may NOT be necessary. Just what planet is he on?
1.) It is indeed extremely odd, but not surprising that Wenger doesn't believe we need more defenders. We desperately need an additional centre back & a quality defensive midfield player, ideally 2 of each. Flamini is awful. Arteta not much better & Monreal a liability. None would be in the squads of Chelsea or Man C.
2.) Now I obviously don't agree with AW, however I could point out that Man City had at least 2 central defenders playing last night, along with a midfield protector, that most on here would snap your arm off for Arsenal to sign, and yet there were still useless and lost. I personally don't think the signing of another CD will make any real difference unless we start remembering how to defend as a team. If you keep allowing the other team to double up on your fullback (or worse have no fullback because he is playing as a winger), and don't bother to stop crosses, oh and have central midfielders that keep ending up on the wrong side of the attacker. then you could have the worlds best two central defenders, and they will still be ripped apart. .
3.) Right on Epping! Let's get it together.
