Mikel Artetta he will like a new signing come January and keen to earn a new 5 year deal just like Rosick's :-) obviously a joke but many a true word said in jest and with Arsene you can't rule it out.

Bender/carvalho plus a CB, Howedes if possible.

We'll probably end up with Jorginho which wouldn't be too bad. I'd still prefer a destroyer though.

Wanyama preferably due to the least amount of adaptation time.

{Ed025's Note - carvalho looks the most likely option LC..

Eds question. Will Wenger pay his buyout clause. And we all know he doesn't like the influence mendes has on clubs.

{Ed002's Note - Carvalho has a release clause not a "buy out" clause and it is of no relevance to Arsenal. However, there is sustained interest in Carvalho from Arsenal and Fenerbahce with some residual interest from Manchester United. Monaco, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea passed on previous interest because of the cost. Sporting would ideally like to keep him a year or two more but know that is now unlikely. Everyone knows the price and it is significant and there seems little room for negotiation although he is not looking to sign a new deal and that may give some leverage.

If Arsenal do not wish to have dealings with Jorge Mendes then Arsenal should not have shown sustained interest in one of his clients - they are wasting everyone's time - including their own. Mendes was in England discussing two other players at the start of the week and he will soon return - if Arsenal wish to look for a deal with Carvalho they should talk with him.}

Definitely Carvalho.

Do you think Carvalho is ready to walk right into the first 11, fitness-wise and moving up in the quality of league or will he take a bit of time?

{Ed025's Note - i think he will fit like a glove rooster, the guy is a game changer and to be fair mate the EPL is not the strongest league, its certainly the toughest but i feel he is up to the task..

So Arsenal won't deal with Mendes but are still interested in player they can't get because of an inpass, that's not like us MUCH.

Its a release clause. Just as Diego Costa went for his release clause. Hel got for that price set 100 percent. Mendes isn't stupid.

{Ed002's Note - Sorry. The release clause is nothing whatsoever to do with Mendes, nor Arsenal.}

mendes negotiates his contracts eds and he also owns a percent of carvalhos rights. fact my friend.

{Ed002's Note - Negotiating the contract is of no consequence. And Jorge Mendes owns none of his rights. You would do best to avoid such matters as "buy out" clauses, "release clauses", "rights" etc.. Clearly you are struggling to grasp any of this.

As I said, if Arsenal do not wish to have any dealings with his agentat all, then they need to stop wasting their own and the time of everyone else. They are, in your view, simply embarrassing themselves.}

Clauses have nothing to do with the player or his agent.
It is put in place by the club to protect their investment.

{Ed002's Note - Don't go there - you don't want to start embarrassing yourself as well.}

dags when a player signs a deal a clause is agreed mate, not rocket science. you don't sign then the club goes btw you are worth 40mill to us to go. its all agreed before hand.

delph signed a new deal with a clause why so he didn't walk for free it was upto him. gave the club 8 million.

mendes is involved in many players image rights through 3rd party off shore investments .

{Ed002's Note - Why do you keep embarrassing yourself? Carvalho's rights are owned by Sporting Lisbon. None of these clauses that you are so keen on are of any relevance to Arsenal whatsoever. Move on.}

..........dribble deleted........

{Ed002's Note - You are talking absolute rubbish. You need to just stop posting all of this nonsense.}

eveyrthing i said was true please this one on just this one

so you telling me mangala was just owned by porto? false mate part owned he was.

this should be a freedom of speech site i'm only putting my point across.

{Ed002's Note - I haven't said anything about Mangala you idiot. You spout all of this nonsense about "buy out clauses" and about Jorge Mendes owning the rights to Carvalho - it is all rubbish.

Additionally it is nothing to do with "freedom of speech" - just you wishing to spread your ignorance of such matters.

You are going to have to let this go and move on.}
