Basically there'll be 6 teams in third place in their groups and these teams will be ranked against each other based on their points totals, goal differences etc from their own group matches. The top 4 teams in this ranking will go through to the next round.

But it seems strange to me to start talks with another club if you wasn't willing to leave. I would of thought he'd know already but it is public yet.

To be honest, too big a deal is being made out of this 'delaying' his decision stuff.
If certain areas of the media hadn't come out saying he'd of made up his mind by Monday, we'd be none the wiser and people wouldn't be going on about it.
I'm, for once, confident we have our affairs in order this window.
I'd imagine we've got a plan b in mind (or plan c if Vardy was second choice to Morata) and are already moving for other players in the meantime too.
Xhaka signed nice and early, chasing Vardy, apparently chasing Mkhitaryan (depending on who you believe, we're not far from that prospective deal) .
The way it's going, I'll be tipping my imaginary cap to Arsene and co come the seasons beginning.

If some of the rumours are true and we might sign ricardo Rodriguez. What do people think to using Monreal as a CB? When used last season did a very good job.

We should sign Rodriguez, as he would be an improvement on either of our LB's. No I wouldn't use Monreal as a CB. We should send Chambers on loan, to enable him to get some valuable experience. We should sell Mertesacker, who simply doesn't have the pace to play in a high line, nor does he have enough physical presence for the PL. We should another CB.

I like Rodriguez and would be happy, I share the same sentiments as you rg69. I think a new Cb is a must. Rodriguez is very arsenal.

Hi eds. There's been a lack of action from any club so far, although I'd imagine there's a lot going on behind the since. Do you think this is because of the euros and copa America? Also is there any players you feel confident are joining arsenal?

The window isn't even open yet! Transfer deals are huge financial transactions that take time to agree and conclude, with players away on international duty and holiday, it isn't easy to tie up any deals.

Always? Reported once and was just media reports not fact. Paul scholes and lampard was far from a saints both has had problems in there earlier days.

Come on! At least he shows a bit of passion, desire and earlobes. He's a fan as well as a player and he should of been in the 11 over Ali after he's poor performance in the friendly a and worse and to the season with Spurs. The rest of the players should show passion publicly too because they'll only get accused of not caring if England get knocked out early.
