Is it defiantly cavani?

So we need a forward / winger so you think
Cavani? do you even know how much he will cost?
so it will be either lavezzi or jermy menez.
in regards to the barca game, he won't be scouting cesc besides he's on the bench, and the only player on the pitch worth buying is messi.
pedro has been rubbish and sanchez is on the bench.
we are buying messi. wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Tello just banged in a hat trick so expect the rumour mill to crank up that name again.

What's the point in"scouting" recognised world class strikers?

WIllesden you are bang on the money mate. Wenger is one of the game's foremost students and eats, drinks, sleeps football. What can any scout possibly tell him about any player currently playing in a European first team that he doesn't already know?

If Gilles Grimandi was watching Falcao play against Chasselay he'll have been able to report that he was stretchered off with what appeared to be a very serious knee injury which could put his participation in the World Cup in doubt let alone the rest of the French domestic season.

Falcao out for months with ACL injury ala Walcott so he won't be going anywhere for at least a year now.

So I am hearing that wenger is keeping an eye out in france over a possible deal for either cavani or falcao. Even though they have been at their new clubs for six months both are unsettled and happy to leave.
P.S. I have my sources (just wait till the last 3 days of the window)

Hi Fellow Gooners, Back in July I mentioned Giovinco as being on Wengers wish list. It appears he has tuned down a loan move to Arsenal.
I have it on good authority Wenger to tie up a deal today. I'm guessing it's Draxler but can't be certain.
In other news. Big Sam to be down the job centre later today and West Ham to be deducted 10 points before the end of the season. I can't say why as I'm sure it won't be posted for legal reasons. It does involve an ''injured'' player coming back to the team.

Wenger flying to Hamburg this morning to try and convince Hakan Çalhanoğlu to join.
Hakan has been called "the next Ozil" (dangerous to call anyone 'the next'. I Know).

Given that Hanburg are in financial trouble and need to reduce the wage bill - as stated by their sporting director in June - it does make sense.
This is young player that is "un-heard-of" which actually means under-valued.
He has been a stronger performer in the league this year with 5 goals and 2 assist. He can play as CAM or on the left and has been slotted in as a second striker.
Ozil could serve as an excellent mentor and all the german players in the squad could help him adjust.
At a fee of around 7 mln, he is very affordable and would probably come in at 30-40k in wages per week.

I like this rumour, it's just such a wenger signing I can really see it happening

Turns out my mate is a LIAR!
Usually reliable given his profession - but way off the mark here!

Rumours today that Podolski may be involved in any deal for Draxler, any truth in this because I feel he can still do a job for us, also any jovetic rumours are false, why would our closest rival help strengthen our team?
With all the mess going on at Southampton why not put a cheeky bid in for Rodriguez, think he would be a better option than Bendtner and also given how Walcotts and Chamberlains careers have blossomed since their move up the M3, but feel its going to be another Arshavin/Ozil/Arteta last minute scramble if we are to sign anyone
