Fabregas to Chelsea seems like a done deal.

Arsenal are going to win nothing, Chelsea will win the league. Depressing considering we haven't kicked a ball yet. Costa and Fabregas, to be wrapped up before WC.

Now I wouldn't say I'm as negative as this. However costa and fabregas are 2 affordable players who would have strengthened our team. Don't buy this no need for fabregas stuff. He is a gooner and would surely jump at a return. Very disappointed in us if we haven't tried for him

2.) Costa has had one good season, every season before that has been average at best, really can't see all the fuss about him and the fact Chelsea ruin good strikers anyway should make this a none issue

You're depressed mate. I'd hate to think what would happen if we sign him and then he gets injured at the world cup and is out for the season.

If arsenal do not sign fabregas again, especially if it is true that Barcelona deem him surplus to requirements, it would be a disaster.

You cannot expect him to be the same player, but there still are quite a few players there he played with previously. He would fit right in. Sell Ozil to accommodate him, his form has taken a dive.

If the likes of Chelsea, United or City sign him, I think I might possibly have a nervous breakdown.

Arsenal have been horribly exposed in the big games, minus the Bayern second leg. A player of his ability, and versatility would be perfect. Wenger was devastated when he left, this is time to shine, since he left, his attacking stats for a midfielder are awesome. Not the first time that a player has left arsenal to not fulfil their potential: flamini, hleb, vieira, Henry, overmars, petit, song, bendner (last one is a joke)- all international superstars when at arsenal, and slipped after they departed. Bring Cesc home, he will have changed, and he might not be as much of a success, but he is world class player, who isn't going to take a year to hit the ground running like Ozil. SPEND THE MONEY WENGER. If wenger uses the excuse of not having it, why has he kept Park, diaby, and bendner, squialaci the season before on the books running down their contracts.

Enough is enough about player development. Your rivals are strengthening, it's time to do the same.

Wilshire is dangerously close to another ankle injury that keeps him out of the squad for six months. He unfortunately is just too little for an arsenal team who are already not physically big, he is playing in the midfield who like to leave space, as Chelsea, Liverpool, city all displayed.

Arsenal need strength in depth. Do we think diaby, wilshire, Ozil, walcott will get through next season without injuries- answer, impossible.

We need Cesc back at Arsenal. If he is available to buy, then we should take him. Wenger said we should expect a busy summer. We'll see. As I see it, arsenal need a Gk, to replace fabianski. 2 x right back, Sagna off and jenkinson can get caught out, and not ready for the starting XI. A holding midfielder, Arteta reads the game well, but has no pace and bone crunching vieira type tackles do not come naturally. We need pace, when Walcott or the Ox were not playing, we struggled home or away to score, it didn't help rambo was out. Giroud, he's good but he's not incredible, if we had a thirty goals per season player, it would we would be challenging, oh we had one of them in RVP and we sold him to United. Looking at it, arsenal fans including myself are deluded, this club doesn't have ambition to win, if it did, we would sign Cesc, a world class striker like Suarez lol. A right back and what else, I'm doing a super market sweep, we might as well take higuien, oh yeah we had him didn't we, did we b*******.

As things lie, united are going to strengthen, they again will struggle for top four, spurs will be pushing as their team will start to come together, but thankfully Daniel levy is there, he'll cause havoc with whatever desperate manager gets into that cauldron. Everton are going to struggle without Barry, that Spanish kid and lukaku. Liverpool today have signed lambert, replacement for Madrid bound Suarez, who knows, even they're making moves to improve Liverpool. Chelsea and City will make a mock of the FIFA 'unfair' play rules. Chelsea are going to sign costa for 50 mil, if we could have Cesc for 30mil, I'm no football transfer expert, but that's good business. Three years away for the kids to develop, win one FA Cup, it's not exactly world beating. We also receive a percentage of a future transfer fee.

So where does this leave arsenal? No don't need to wait til the end of the transfer window, it's clear, we'll possibly if very lucky will have a run at the top of the league, and possibly if he'll freezes, we might be able to defend our FA Cup, but when it comes down to it in the league, we won't have strength in depth. SIGN CESC FABREGAS.

{Ed025's Note - and a good read it was too andmick, the thing with cesc for me...is that he just fits!, some players just suit certain teams, and cesc and arsenal just seem right for each other...maybe its just me being a hopeless romantic..

This window is already crazy. Well it's not even open yet and I've a lot of arsenal fans saying not to get Cesc. Which is crazy. He is world class! And we could make him fit! And secondly arsenal fans calling out for Micah Richards. Someone explain these strange things

He might have been born Barca, but he was raised Arsenal, he's got unfinished business here, the prodical son should be brought back.
