Those who we need defensive midfielder. We have Arteta, Ramsey, Flamini, Diaby, and Frimpong on that department. Plus TV can also play in that position.
we are all wrong to point out who Wenger should buy, he can recognize a talent more than anyone of us.

1.) Arteta is make shift(naturally a playmaker), Ramsey is a box to box mid, Diaby is always injured(glass knees), Frimpong is too young and inexperienced but Flamini is good business

2.) We all know Wenger can recognise talent but the problem over the last couple of years is sealing the deal(s). We are thin on the ground and have a bench of potential rather than proven game changers and no scope for real rotation. Finally, we're missing a true genius who can make the difference at the highest level, against the best teams or when we're looking for inspiration when a team 'parks the bus'. An Henry, a Messi, a Ronaldo type. Get one of those and a couple of proven winners down the spine and this team will be credible challengers this year.

Our current team might be short in talent as compared to Henry/Pires era, but this team has more heart than Henry era team. I think that has been main difference between Ferguson's teams and Wenger's teams over the years.

Suarez every one knows he want to go to Madrid, I don't think he would have been good for us. Rooney he is a quality player but, I don't think he will change our team dramatically. Higuain, was too risk, would have been someone great for right price.

We need to do smart buying like the type Juve are doing, they buy good players who complement their team for right price.

But you never know may be not buying at this point might the best thing for us.

Goalkeeper: I believe Szczesny is good, goalkeepers take long time to develop.

Central defender: The ones we have are good in quality but we are short in numbers, plus is great to kn ow Sagna can play this position too. May be Sagna is our most valuable player, he can play all back 4 positions.

Defensive midfielders: I believe in this area we are covered, and when Diaby and Arteta returns from injury we will have more than we need.

Attacking midfielders/wingers: We are covered, I would like to see young players given more opportunity need to promote Gnabry.

Striker: We are short in numbers, but may be it's time to start playing Walcot more in the middle. Plus Giroud will soon be world class he needs more confidence but he has all ingredients of a great striker. Also, Poldoski needs to play more in the middle.

1.) Now Columbus, you're kidding mate. Bergkamp, Vieira, Gilberto, Freddy, Sol, Kolo, Lauren, Keown and the list goes on. had more heart than this era. Why? They were all winners! Also, Pat Jennings, David Seaman and Jens Lehman weren't allowed to develop into great keepers while playing for the first XI. That's madness. They were bought fully developed, as great keepers. That's what we need now along with a spine of winners. That will push this core of potential champions over the line. We pay the highest ticket prices in the league so we deserve the best players who are at their peak not potentially at their peak in 2-3 years if we develop them. Anyway, 1-0 to The Arsenal today and I am praying for 2-3 players to come in to allow us to challenge this year. COYG!

I think things are not as but as most people think, we have several young good players, which if given playing time will be world class in few years.

Eight years title drought is overrated, over that period we have been to Champions league final, fa cup final, and Carling Cup final. Plus we have performed better in champions league as compared to previous years.

People need to stop pressuring Wenger he knows what he is doing. This transfer market, player prices have hiked up by desperate buyers like our neighbors.

As for selling star players most players wanted to go, I don't thing is a good thing to hold players against their will.

We don't need bog player signings, we need Wenger type of signing.

Last thing we need to stop abusing our own player some players need a little bit time to adapt.

1.) Very well said my friend. Its great to see someone with an iota of football knowledge. Your very welcome. It's quite lonely on this site.

2.) If he had ioata if football knowledge he would know we were in no Fa cup final in the last 8 years

But wenger reasoning for not working with director of football make a lot of sense.

We need to support him, plus we don't need out top players playing in capital one cup.

He needs to play more and speak less, some things happens for a reason, u never know may be this might be his time to become the player Wenger always thought he might be
