I reported 3 weeks ago stating we have SIGNED KHEDIRA. Most were more concerned by a spelling mistake in my post. I'm just updating you guys that I asked my tomato sauce for updates but he was very coy. His response was, 'just ask Stan. '

I will say it again - Khedira to Arsenal?

1.) We have not signed khedira.

Madrid want to sell him, Arsenal would like to get the player, but obviously his head has been turned by another team, to stick it out and leave on a free at the end of his contract and gain a rather large sum at that point. that is how I understand it. i'm not going to quote sources but let's just say I understood that while I was at the first pre season game and had a chance to talk to someone there.

but I think we maybe able to do a deal for Carvalho, he would enable us to play 4-1-4-1 which we tried and worked quite well tactically, while khedira won't quite give us that comfort to play that formation, rather 4-2-3-1.

at the end of the day, money talks.

2.) Ozil will play in the hole when he is back, he doesn't have the discipline to play out wide and is wasted there anyways, so 4-2-3-1 will be our system.

3.) Ubistonk, Ozil's 'discipline' has nothing to do with it as he's only been asked to play there for Germany and had been given appropriately specific instructions. But I'd agree it was a waste

So the same contact I mentioned a few days ago who told us the day before the press released, that Khedira is holding out for more wages has now told me to EXPECT KHEDIRA TO SIGN TOMORROW. (Monday)

I'm not saying that's my onion. That's just what he said.

Maybe it's not dead yet?

Dalston_Gooner

1.) So what is your onion?

2.) 21 Jul 2014 00:22:55
I dislike onions. Seeing as you mentioned it

3.) So your contact is a Mr T Witter then

4.) Sounds to me that you don't trust your source as you have a different onion to him

5.) My source is the chairman of my supporters club (quite a large and significant supporters club) who knows lots of Ex-players and contact with people at the club.

He has got things correct in the past out of the blue too.

Like I say, time will tell, but he wouldn't have told me if he didn't believe it himself.

6.) Oh and Paul, I don't use twitter or Facebook or any social networking. I don't even own a TV.
I hear twitter is as reliable as Emile Hesky, but interesting that it's being mentioned a lot this morning it seems.

{Ed025's Note - you dont own a TV!!!!...come on mate get a grip, how can anyone be taken seriously if they dont have a telly?..

7.) You don't need one nowadays

I can't say I miss Eastenders or Emerdale all that much.

8.) I reckon there are a lot more layers to be revealed in this story. What's the betting that when the final one is peeled we will have tears in our eyes!

Hi Eds and everyone, new to the site. wanted to share some unhappy news.

spoken to the Chairman of my supporters club, who seems to think that Khedira deal has hit a stumbling block this morning.

He seems to be holding out for £14k more than previously agreed, takign his wages above Ozil.

Wenger's stance seems to be, 'take the same as Ozil or its a no go.'

Lars Bender then?

lets see what develops.

I don't get people saying this. Apparently as I've heard from numerous people RM have not accepted any offers yet. If that's the case which I believe is how can we not agree wages. Arsenal won't go discussing terms with a player they haven't had a bid accepted for

2.) As far as I am aware, everything was done / is done. Even the medical. The famous medical.

This new development is a recent negotiation, and possibly Khedira trying to get the maximum amount of wages from the club.

It's not totally dead yet, but we all know, Wenger won't renegotiate.
