Hi Ed

First off thank you very much for all your posts and information. Always insightful and interesting.

I had a question for you re: ESR.

do you know the rationale as to why they are even entertaining offers -- he seems to have great talent and potential and surely it is too early to say he will go the way of Jack rather than the way of Cesc.

Your insight would be much appreciated.

Hi Ed -- sorry if my original question wasn't clear but I actually was asking why Arsenal are entertaining offers not why Aston Villa are making offers.

What I was looking to under stand is why Arsenal are entertaining the offers as it seems that ESR has done well in the games he has played and at least from the outside doesn't seem to want to leave.

I've read today that he may consider the move as he thinks he would be guaranteed regular starts at AV. I suppose it depends who we bring in (or not) might sway his decision.

I really can’t see arsenal Selling RoweSmith. Arsenal so tight with transfer fees, we couldn’t (wouldn’t) buy someone better and he’s English and academy. He’s only going to get better. But then…Arsenal do strange things. We sell Martinez for 15 mil or something stupid and then linked with relegated twice Ramsdale for 40.
