12 no that's the new WHL name. We are actually still in europe. You know the second rate comp you won last year playing scintillating football.

10 Mar 2018 20:35:16
Thank you and hope you can keep within 20 points of your local rivals for a little longer too.
Jose has certainly made his mark, you used to have a famous chant of " attack attack, attack attack attack "
What is it now
" the Bus the bus, the bus the bus the bus "
Must be an exciting thought for all those fans on the 200 mile trip to each home game.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 20:41:34
Best of luck in Manchester town centre in May when City parade the PL trophy, Carabao Cup and possibly the CL trophy, providing of course, Josè gives them the open top double decker bus he uses every week.

By the way Leahy, we can poke fun because we didn’t spend Β£600 million to be rubbish.

Now wipe away the tears fella. πŸ˜‰.

The table doesn't lie, but are Man Utd really 20 points better than us?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Mar 2018 17:54:52
Yes they are Dags. And they have the new sam alladice as their manager. They are the new Bolton.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 17:58:19
Dags and they are 20 points behind their neighbours and that's about right too.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 18:22:37
They’ve perfected the long ball park bus tactic. I watched the game earlier and laughed when the tannoy tone went off mid game, I was expecting the announcer to say will the owner of the double decker parked in front of the Liverpool goal please remove it immediately.

I guess spending Β£600 million since Fergie left is bound to make you 20 points better than us. πŸ˜‚.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 18:53:36
Even if you could argue the gap down to 10 points Dags would it really be any better? We'd still be miles behind an ordinary Utd and 13 behind Spurs and 15 behind Liverpool and it would be hard for even the most ardent Arsene fan to justify those figures not being a fair reflection of reality.
For the second season running we are going to finish behind Liverpool and Spurs who have managers who have had to come in and close quite a gap on us with similar or less money than us and who in a very short period of time have over taken us by such a distance that they can already with a quater of the season still go quite comfortably forget about us completely.
Burnley and Leicester are our competion for the this season now in the 7th or 8th place avoidance battle.
The only people who can be happy to carry on as we are would have to be Arsene Wenger fans first and Arsenal fans second.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 19:06:59
Stoner, gorilla football got them an undeserved win against their big local rivals. Today, they will take it but reality is the style they play is too one dimentional to make samourino a demi god. Samourino is wenger 14 years ago, his tactics are prehistoric.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 19:25:17
Steve,

Can you imagine Madrid, Barcelona or Munich spending that much and churning out that drivel week in week out.

Love the Samourinho. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 20:02:57
Stoner, that's one thing that won't be happening, a top team poaching the special sam. Which is a shame for man u, they are stuck with him now. The only scary thing is he did win the CL playing humpa lumpa, parky bussy. Not sure that will be the case again though.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 20:04:58
Very true Gents.

Lol @ Stoner 😊.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 20:08:17
Its also nice to see sanchez looking at home playing samourino football. he's definitely worth the 500,000 a week. He is just what they needed.

10 Mar 2018 20:18:37
Lol your deluded stoner.
Go 2 nil up. Second half shut up shop that's how you get3 points .
And Mata should have made it 3
Liverpool got an own goal.
Great 3 points when you have an average defence.
Although the defence did ok today
Arsenal lol to poke fun at united.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 20:31:38
Sorry 12 we didn't see it like that. We saw two big hoofs up the pitch, flick, punch and goal. The defending was solid, except for at least one if not two penalties but the football content was shameful.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 20:34:50
12 and we are not poking fun, we just think you are rubbish. How much money have you spent to provide anti football. I don't particularly like liverpool, just saying it as i see it. i'm not biased, just truthful.

Gap just 2 points between us and Burnley.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Mar 2018 17:39:53
BG, i'm not too sure i'm that bothered anymore. The league for us is fairly insignificant now, we will finish where we finish. We can't recover what we have lost and we will be in a truer position come the end of the season, where ever that is. 5th 6th 7th 8th, does it matter, we are getting lower and lower and action is required to stop the rot in the summer.

Agree2 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 18:24:02
It still amazes me that Wenger can look at that league table and think, Yeah I’ve still got it.

10 Mar 2018 19:14:11
he has still got it the job i mean lol.

Wenger needs to stick troy deenys comments about our last game against watford on the dressing room wall. Point at it and tell his players is that what you want to be remembered for. If that isn't enough for them to grow a pair and go out and win then they shouldn't be wearing the shirt.
We need to build momentum play our best players no one needs a rest we only have a few games in the league and europa cup left. Its do all or end all for wenger.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Mar 2018 17:09:04
Even if we finish the season with a flourish in the league and win the europa it would be to little to late for me personally.
I've absolutely 0 enthusiasm for another season under Arsene.
Sorry Arsene but I just couldn't muster any interest in yet another wasted season that's full of every pundit and every fan of every club in the country asking the same old questions that they and we have been asked for so many years running now.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 17:44:25
Its sad if we have to stick deeneys words down his throat, when they were ignored and probably true when he said them. When has avenging troy deeney been on our radar and i'm not sure we have the characters to challenge him on the pitch anyway. The truth is our players have no balls, that's for sure. They are wenger recruits and soldiers.

Agree0 Disagree1

10 Mar 2018 17:46:37
I agree with you its a double edged sword. I want arsenal to do well but i don't want wenger there next season.
Arsenal come first always. The board need to reinvest the Β£8m plus they give wenger and get in someone who can organise a team and adjust to the team we are playing.
I think if you ask most fans there is 0% enthusiasm for wenger but 100% for arsenal.

Local MP : "New stadium looking immense SpursOfficial. White Hart Lane is going to be so much better than the Emirates. I want a seat in the new South Stand please - our new 17,500 seat single-tier home stand. Atmosphere will be absolutely incredible. "

He then added: "Much more than just a new stadium, White Hart Lane is going to be a landmark for London and a wonderful symbol of Tottenham going from strength to strength. I am so excited for the first game both as a fan and for what this means for Tottenham. "

When asked about the trophy cabinet, he added : " We could only indulge ourselves on one luxury - we've added more seats than required so the trophy shelf will be added at a later date. Our current trophies are in the London Museum should any Spurs fan want to a piece of history. ".

Spurs are a club with a plan, Whether they get where they want to go is debatable but they have a clear plan of where they want to go and how they plan to get there.
Arsenal? We have our excuses to hang onto and cups to go for.

Agree0 Disagree3

10 Mar 2018 17:31:31
What you talking about they have now completed the treble they have recently won the following -

Put the pressure on Chelsea

Finished above arsenal

Deserved to go through against juventes

The trophies look amazing in there empty cabinet lol.

10 Mar 2018 17:47:57
Yes spanner and they prefer the st arsenal day to the fa cup trophy we won last season. Cough cough.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 19:10:12
Spurs are an ambitious club whether those ambitions lead to anything or not the intention is clear they want to be the best they can be.
Arsenal intentions are?
To stay in the top 10?
To win as many cups as possible?
To go 30 years with the same manager?

I've no idea where our ambition even begins let alone ends.

Interesting to see if we can get back to winning ways in the PL tomorrow. Milan suited us down to the ground, as they played without the intensity, power and pace that most PL teams have.
Team-wise it makes sense to play Aubameyang instead of Welbeck, as Welbeck is the only experienced striker available next Thursday. I would also rest Kolasinac as he has an ankle injury and isn't work risking, particularly as Maitland-Niles can cover for him. Chambers should be over his cramp and cover for injured Bellerin. The rest of the players select themselves, unless Wenger feels Elneny and/ or Iwobi should come in give a player or two a rest.
For me, the major decision would be in goal, as Cech is off form, but Wenger will definitely stick with him tomorrow.
What amazes me is that we could be down to as few as 15 fit players to select from against Watford, excluding youngsters such as Willock, Macey, Nelson and Nketiah.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

10 Mar 2018 09:11:38
Does it matter tomorrow league and points wise? Of course the fans who are attending want to see the team win but the result won't effect our league position come May.
I'd either stick to a winning team to try and build some momentum ahead of Thursday minus Danny for reasons Sanogo mentioned yesterday or I'd go with the giving as many youngsters a go as I thought were ready.
Our league season is over so it's just a case of for filling our fixtures.
I think europa league apart our players will already be on the beach but I'm not sure how we will tell ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 13:29:27
We have absolutely nothing to fight for in the league but pride. Our players and manager have failed in the league again. All our eggs are in the europa basket. No one should want to lose any game but if we win, all the world will not be put right in a few league games, that mean zilch. let's give some youngsters their head, see if we can uncover some diamonds. Mavropanas, nketiah, willock, maitland niles etc. What about the third choice goalie? Can he do any worse than cech.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 13:59:06
Because of our players and manager, the league now is our caraboo and europa comp now.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 15:16:46
In the league other teams will be relying on us to get results against thier rivals but I'm not sure that holds a lot of weight these days, last season we faced a lot of teams like Stoke away who were already on the beach with 7 games to go.
I would certainly be looking to give some young players their heads like Holding and Chambers in the league plus those who've had little if any league action already.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Mar 2018 17:52:18
If we win every league game with the senior players from now until the end of the season, it tells us nothing we all ready know. If we blood 3 or 4 youngsters and do it every week, it tells us loads and vise vera. Could actually save the new manager a lot of money, to be used to improve the dross.
