Funny to see how Mustafi gets an absolute slating on here yet he’s the best performing centre back so far this season 🤷🏼‍♂️
Just sayin.

Yes, above VVD, REALLY!

Mustafi is having a far better season under Dick than he ever did under Arsene as are Xhaka and Iwobi, whether they are good enough still is a matter of opinion but all 3 are showing the best we've seen from them.

I thought things were bad on here, but it's even feistier on the Man U pages! :) Interesting comments though, and that Mata, Herrera and Martial are all out of contract next summer. DdG too.

Martial and Auba either side of Ozil and behind Laca. Yes please.
I always liked Mata too.

I don't understand why our page isn't buzzing, 15 games unbeaten under a brand new manager who is still in his first 3 months of his new job in a new league.
I'm not quite sure what people expected or even hoped for but personally I'm very pleasantly surprised to say the least with how things are going so far.

{Ed025's Note - and well you should be G62..

13 Nov 2018 19:07:38
Ive got to be honest, i didn't think it was bad on here, since you know who left. Generally, the posts have been pretty positive, when it is positive and negative when it is negative. I think most posters on here are on point, with their views. Many plusses and a few minusses. The problem with utd fans is because its "maureen" most give him more slack than most including putting up with Neanderthal football. I think he is the posh persons sam allardyce. Or just sam allardyce. Humpa lumpa football of the highest order.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - united fans wish jose was allardyce steve.. :)

13 Nov 2018 19:16:44
Ed025, jose is certainly taking the club in a new direction. Down! Lol.

{Ed025's Note - love it steve..

I'm really not sure what some people expected Ed025 mate, far to much far to soon is my guess mate.
Why we are not all buzzing with excitement at the positives rather than constantly highlighting the negatives after so many years with no sign of improvement in sight is beyond me mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think they must be expecting a wheel to come off G62, he has done superbly well in a very short time and not a lot of people envisaged that coming (me included if im honest) so they might just be reluctant to sing his praises just in case things go tits up, its always hard when you replace someone who was an icon like arsene was and we have all witnessed how man utd have struggled since fergie left, im sure if things continue in a similar vane then things will improve fan wise mate..

13 Nov 2018 19:34:47
To be fair Steve I thought this page would have a resurgence of interest with Dicks impressive start but if anything there are less posts this season than at any time I can remember in the 5 years since I first joined.
Of what posts there are there is definitely an increase of positive ones percentage wise but still the negative posts heavily out number the positive ones which I find strange.

13 Nov 2018 19:54:45
15 games unbeaten with everyone working harder than ever even if they are not always brilliant is enough for me to throw away the negative and buy into the positives again but I do see your point about some people remaining cautious Ed025 mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i wish it was different G62, but it is what it is mate..

13 Nov 2018 20:00:21
The board have to let dick spend big or we will slip behind.

13 Nov 2018 20:02:37
Gunner, i think i scared a lot of the wenger in boys away and they can't come back now can they? Lol
I mean somebody actually doing something right for this club.
But to be serious for a bit, i think we are in limbo at the moment, it could still go both ways and when it gets better or worse, the posters will flock back. Its all a bit calm at the moment and the season isn't at the sharp end yet.

13 Nov 2018 20:14:11
Fair play Steve mate, I guess I was so ready for the wave of change i was happy to surf on every riple of positive that came our way even if not quite the stuff where world records are broken just yet.

I think we all miss Dags and his jokes! 😢.

{Ed025's Note - well i certainly do stoner...where is he?..

13 Nov 2018 20:58:19
I don’t know ed025 mate but he’s definitely a loss to the page.

I do use the United page for my daily dose of humour whilst he’s away though.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - thats all good stoner, i do miss my dags time though mate..

13 Nov 2018 21:06:00
We all miss Dags, firstly and most importantly hope all is well in his world and then secondly I hope he's just having a post Arsene adjustment break.
I know he was always loyal to Arsene even when he found it difficult to be so hopefully we will hear from him in the not to distant future when he's got his head and heart more used to Arsene not being around.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - amen to that mate..

13 Nov 2018 21:07:24
G62, bottom line is, people don't voice positives but are fairly quick to voice negatives. It's human nature.

Also, as Ed025 said, many of us want to see what's what over the course of a full season. For me, I still feel we're poor but have been lucky in many games.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i touched on that the other week sharpy, we all know that there will be a bad patch and the luck will turn at times mate but no one can argue with the fine start the team has made under dick..

13 Nov 2018 21:41:24
All fair points Sharpie mate, no one can deny we've rode our luck so far something that isn't new to us especially at the back.
For me the most encouraging thing is our new work rate and effort which to some degree is improving our chances of getting lucky.

A couple of seasons back were flying high in the league and we drew with PSG twice in the champions league simply because of opposition awful finishing especially Cavarni home and away and once Everton took thier chances against us so did everyone else, I don't think that will happen this time simply because there is so much more effort commitment and passion since Emery took over.
Time will tell of course as always.

13 Nov 2018 22:03:06
Yes, its funny how Dags disappeared of the face of the earth without saying adios amigos. i'm sure all being well he will return with his old jokes again. Maybe he will turn up in the jungle next week!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - lets hope so steve..

What people have to realise is others are aloud an opinion and should never have been forced out (bullied ) , I loved Wenger and I also criticised dick, but I’ll be the the first to admit we are looking better but I’ve said this over and over the board need to step up now, or it’s bavk to square one.

14 Nov 2018 18:35:04
Whose been forced out or not allowed an opinion Crybaby?

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Nov 2018 19:55:12
Everyone is allowed and entitled to an opinion and equally people are allowed to disagree with their opinions.
That's how it works for anyone and everyone who posts.

Hi Ed I was wondering what happens with fines, you often see players, managers or teams get fined by the FA or UEFA, usually it's peanuts in the world of football and you think more that's not going to make much difference to them, rather than I wonder where the money goes. But the one that stood out was city's fine of £49 million for breaching ffp, which is an absurd punishment for spending too much money (if you spend too much money you then have to pay more money! 😂) but are they transparent about what happens to that fine or does it disappear shadily? Which I would find more disturbing than someone spending too much of their own money on a club they own.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - The FFP fine ended up being €20M for Manchester City which wa pair. As you say most fines are of no consequence which is why you will see a continued increase in other sanctions - UEFA take revenue income now. The likes of Tirana, Itysh and Vojvodina lost the Europa League I come in fines. soon were banned for two seasons, etc.. it is better than CHF55k for Sevilla for an extremely questionable deal or further warnings to the likes of Liverpool who are the most charged club by UEFA.}
