In My Opinion the New rule that got Granit Xhaka sent off will ruin the game if it's set the way i think it is ( i don't know much about it) . For anyone in the know does this rule mean that every player who tries to stop a counter by fouling will be sent off?

Why would that ruin the game mate, surely if we counter with the speed we have and the likes of Sanchez, Walcott and Chamberlain are stopped in their tracks we are not going to be happy.
Xhaka made a mistake, hopefully he'll learn from it. I also think the rule about defenders dragging down attackers in the box helps us too if I'm honest.

Wasn't the deliberate foul rule brought in after Willie Young dragged a young Paul Allen back in the cup final denying him a clear scoring opportunity?
As a club we're hardly in a position to moan when a new extension of that rule works against us, I think if there is no intention what so ever to play the ball by any player there's no room on the pitch for that player in the modern game.

I think it will improve the game, it will hopefully stop the thugs who just foul because they are beaten by skill or speed and let us fans see good football instead of all ufc tactics.

Most probably true SY :-) back in the day pulling people back when through on goal and handling off the line didn't even earn a booking but the game has changed a lot since then and in most cases for the better.
One of the few things I don't like about the modern game is the brilliant art of tackling hard but fair is being lost which I think is a shame.
