Just got in and its no Subaru stories today, just DIY and electrical, I've put my size 9s through the front room door and my 46 inch screen plasma has gone into the living room wall due to the ravers notorious temper. I've got engagements later in London so I will cool down with a few Moroccan cigars and plenty of castrol gtx liquor.

Cracking game for the neutral Raver mate, your a very good side and so are Chelsea but they just have that bit more composure and experience at the moment mate.

Agree gunner we have one of the weakest benches in the league, yet Chelsea made 3 subs In hazard, costa and fabregas that's the strength in depth they have to ours.

Yes Steve I had them all jiving and jigging outside Wembley, don't worry Steve you'll be able to do the Same with your boys tomorrow with 10 minutes to play, give me a ring in the Subaru around 4.30 and I might help you out with some tunes outside Wembley.

The foundations are there for spurs. In the summer they only need a few players but need to be top players that will make a difference. Thomas lemar out wide would be good.

Ivan seems to be getting some press and has grown a set - seems determined to make changes to make us more successful on the pitch. To be fair, he's sorted out a lot of our commercial deals. Now sorting out the running of the club - hats off to him.

Is it the owners who lack ambition?

Let's sort our bloody club out as its embarrassing - on and off the pitch.

The club is in turmoil the fans are fed up and the future is uncertain. Remind me what has ivan done. He knows nothing about football.

There's a few in the club like that steve.

Gazidis and others feel Arsene may no longer be untouchable from the fans point of view so are for the first time considering their options in order to make Arsenal successful on and off the pitch.
The board have no appetite for a confrontation with a very large number of fans but as Arsenes position becomes a less delicate subject to dare to talk about they are finding their voices.
The board have been spineless because of fear of a fan backlash imo.

Steve - our commercial deals, take a look at Deloittes football revenue report or our accounts. Since the initial Stadium deal which was a little poor but seemed more structured on getting cash at the front end than the yearly worth of the contract to the deals we have secured over the past 3 years, Commercial team seem to be doing a far better job. Ivan also seems to be quite frank with the fans and hasn't really been fully supported of Wenger in terms of stating we need to do better and being disappointed at our current form. The current form being a "catalyst for change. "
I don't state he knows how to manage a football team that's not his job but he seems to be fighting the fans cause in the boardroom and with ownership. Let's be honest, the owners drive the structure and expectations of the board. If the board isn't performing - ownership changes it. If the manager is below par - the board should change him / her.
Clearly up until now the board and owners are happy.
Ivan clearly isn't

That's my take Steve and I think Ivan has done a pretty good job off the pitch and is now standing up for the fans and expectations he has. He has always murmured that we must do better on te pitch but it seems a louder voice as he probably feels the fans think that also .

Just my uneducated point of view

My hope:

More money into club
Higher expectations - bonuses for top 2 finish only for players and manager
Change in how players are purchased - earlier in transfer window and mov quicker
Clear out the dross and upgrade some positions
Overhaul wage structure and bonuses
Change back room staff
Give Wenger the option to play under the new rules.

Arsene become an employee SY?
That's a big climb down for him to accept mate.

22 Apr 2017 20:11:28
I don't see the Gazidis you do sy but I stand corrected if i'm wrong.

22 Apr 2017 20:59:28
Ha ha 62 - very funny. Wenger is the manager but still an employee and should be respected and managed appropriately by his bosses.

Steve - respect what you say.

22 Apr 2017 21:14:21
Im not sure Arsene sees it that way SY mate :-) but i agree it's his bosses position to let him know in no uncertain manner that that's the way it is and is going to be from now on, putting the ball very firmly and respectfully in Arsene's court.

22 Apr 2017 21:45:38
Gunner, Sy, if wenger does have any say in his position, then we are in trouble. In all seriousness he is only an employee like everyone at the club below kronk. We do read and believe all the gutter print but we have to believe ultimately every employee is accoubtable at the club for what they achieve, not have achieved.

22 Apr 2017 22:22:33
In theory Steve yes your right but that's not been the reality up until now though mate has it, Arsene has run the show from top to bottom.
Beating City tomorrow will give everyone a lift but i don't think it will be anything like enough to put Arsene back in the driving seat, of course even that's if we beat City :-)

23 Apr 2017 01:20:14
What happens if city beat us? Are we that strong that loosing is not acceptable. Are city that weak. Sit back Enjoy the game. Hoping for a cracker. Would love us to win. In the grand scheme of things i think chelsea will win facup n the league. let's hope Wenger ACTUALLY gets the funds he needs and more just incase rivals start bidding war.

Here is my early prediction for Sunday. 5-3 to us. After going 2-0 down in the 1st half the Ox will pull one back before half time.
Ramsey (yes, Ramsey) scores 2 before City force extra time with a late contrversial penalty.
In extra time Ramsey gets 2 more.
This is just what he owes us after promising so much 3 seasons ago.

22 Apr 2017 12:24:20
so if Ramsay scores 4 goal, means he has had a busy game, must have at least 30 shots in one game.

Does that mean 4 people will die?
