Hi Eds, I know it should be taken with a pinch of salt but what is the situation with Julian Draxler. A lot of talk on Twitter that he seems to have been over to check out our training facilities and we are very likely to sign him as Schalke have now agreed a deal to sign Sidney Sam from this coming summer.

Fingers crossed there is some truth to this because he really is going to be a star of the future.

Sorry to kind of butt in on the question you asked Dags because it made me think and is kind of connected, it's hypothetical of course for a while.

But who would everyone like to see score the goal that won us our next Trophy.

Might be worth a poll, would you say so Ed or just peoples thoughts, I'm sure there's a few favourites.

I don't really know why but for me it would be Koscielny with Sagna a close 2nd.

Has to be thomas rosicky he deserves it big style all his injury problems and stuff and I think he is a true gooner too love him in the most un gay way possible (is that alright to say ed don't know what's politically correct these days)

I agree with rosicky, if it was`nt for his bad luck with injury`s I think he`d be up there with Cesc as one of our greatest players. He deserves more respect

I'll go with Ramsey, purely for the way he handled his come back with the fans on his back.
He had a huge dip in form and let's be honest if Wenger had listened to the fans (me included I'm sorry to say) we wouldn't be were we are at the moment as he has had a massive amount to do with it.

For me its got to be Szczesny.
Along with lots of other players in our team he has dominated the penalty box at our end. Especially against Spurs the way he leaned back on the goal post and read the newspaper for at least 75 minutes of the match was sheer class while Spurs ran round like headless chickens.😄

Very good question Code Zero. I think for me it would have to be TR7 or PM4

For me it would be Jacky Wilshere. Mr Arsenal, bleeds red and white, "Shere Willpower"! Second to him i'd go for Per Merts for sure.

I agree with JPSA about ramsay, but maybe arteta as he is a bit of an unsung hero. I am a rangers fan from Glasgow and remember well his reaction when he scored to win us the league so would like to see that again.

Anyone mentioned so far is worth that goal, it's a great squad. I'd even be happy if it was NB52 and he goes on to become a goal scoring machine for us -:)

But nah, it has to be Merts or Santi. Everything good started with the BFG, and if it was Santi I'd like to see what it looks like when someone's smile swallows their whole body and we know it would be a spectacular goal.

All the above shouts I think would be well deserved, however i'd love Diaby to sore the goal that won it for us. Or Kieran Gibbs. Shezz would be amazing tho. With a pile-driver from outside the box lol.

Can't really argue with any of them and Dave6 and Brentwood have got me thinking Rosicky, he has been incredible this season, it's almost like he's 21 again the way he covers the pitch.

First post here was wondering what anybody thinks the chances are of signing Morata and Martinez? Either would help but both would really send out a statement to citeh and chelski

I think Morata loan is a possability but I can't see us getting Martinez until maybe the summer.

Morata with an option to buy would be a solid pickup. I think we need to buy a wide player, an older player who can supply us with experience and not get in the way for our younger attackers. Di Natale and Lichtsteiner come to mind.

Alright guys, ain't posted since the summer, never in a million years did I think we would go into the new year top! Anyway, I'm a firm believer in that draxler will be an arsenal player in the summer, with the German connection out our club vital, also expect 1 of benzema costa or Martinez in the summer aswell, with a future world class player out wide, a potent no messing about 20+ goals a season from one of the above, replace Sagna with shemus Coleman, I think next year we can challenge on all fronts, nearly the finished article, oh yeah final note. Keep up the good work moyes!

I completely agree on coleman, what a player he is going to be, I was saying to friends the other day that although sanga is solid he can beet a man and his crossing is poor, coleman also has an eye for goal

If we signed Coleman I think that would be a fantastic bit of business, he will take some getting as Everton won't let go easy and there would be a lot of competition for him if they did, but if we got him? Big things ahead me thinks

Perhaps we are only looking to a short term loan deal for a forward, until the end of the season. As next season we will have Giroud, Sanogo & Wallcott (when fit) & Akpom (will be back, after his loan). I think we will redress the right-back situation at the end of the season, unless Sagna signs a deal. I think we are far more likely to try & sign a centre back, as we need a 4th one and I can't imagine Vermaelen will like another season as back up to Mertesacker & Koscielny.
This season, we have 3 keepers. 7 defenders. numerous midfield options. The only spaces in this window, appear to be for a centre back & a forward.

Ed 002, saw your comment on liverpool page that we are negotiating deal with Madrid for Morata can you provide info wether it is a loan with option to buy and secondly have read in one of the news papers that release clause of both Diego Costa and Jacksion Martinez are applicable only in summer transfer any truth in this, thanks
