Steve, I Value your Opinions and Realist Views, but some of The vitriol towards Wenger seems almost personal, are you by any chance Stewart Robson? Lol.

Stewart, I mean Steve, pretty much calls it as he sees it.
Hard to disagree with most of what he says.

2.) 17 May 2017 00:52:12
Cmp, you point the finger as if i'm the only one. I don't mind though, I just think he's a massive problem for this club now I don't want to hear all his excuses year after year, I want results not flannel.

I Just Wanna Congratulate the much maligned and Disparaged Theo Walcott For reaching a 100 goals at our club. I understand all the critical comments levelled at him but sometimes it's way over top like everything Arsenal related. For a player who didn't reach his full potential and is constantly injured it's a huge feat.

Steve you were right Granit Xhaka can't tackle, he has the most awkward technique I've ever seen. but he'll grow, i personally think he was immense against Bayern at the Emirates but his performance was overshadowed by the hysteria. Wenger has put the Kante VS Xhaka debate to bed as they are different players, They would've been bought to complement each other not to compete.

Finally Do people still want the OX sold? He really looks a superb midfielder, the boy has bags of talent and i think this season he is starting to live up it.

Your clutching at straws now if you have to use Walcott as a positive

Lmfao.

4.) 18 Mar 2017 21:15:10
Cmp I just don't rate him at all never have, he is ordinary at best and brings nothing to the team.

Arsenal Fans and Football Fans In General always clamour on about loyalty and about how it is short supply nowadays, yet it seems it's a one way street in their eyes.

Am looking at the treatment Mesut Ozil is getting from our very own fans and its sad to see. Instead of being backed, he's being scapegoated and ridiculed and the worst vitriol comes from us.

He has had a dip in form since December but he's still one of our best players by far and one of the best in the league. Bayern had 74% possession, what is a no. 10 supposed to do without the ball.

Instead of backing our player of the season last year and at times our talisman, we're pushing him out of the door. I Want Mesut Ozil to stay because he is class, plays spellbinding football at times and because he is my favourite footballer in the World. I hope he stays to prove he's doubters and detractors wrong.

Mesut its my favourite player too Positive mate, I couldn't believe it when he joined us as I never thought he would come to us.
But I do want to see him leave simply because he is wasting his career with us, I think Kos has already wasted his best years with us and I think it would be sad to see both Ozil and Sanchez do the same.
Of course I want Arsenal to have the likes of Sanchez Ozil and Kos playing for us but not for the sake of it, if we are not going to use them to be all we can be it's just a waste of great talent.
Cech has had his glory with Chelsea and staying in London was his number one aim so I can see why he would be happy at Arsenal, Belerin has a super future ahead of him and why should he settle for top 4 and champions league last 16 ambition of Arsenal, he's way to good for that.
The rest of the squad can have no complaints because who would buy them than could offer more than what we can? I don't see Bayern Real Barcelona Chelsea or City coming in with big money offers for anyone but Sanchez Ozil Kos or Belerin and if Arsenals ambitions don't match their own all I can say is " thanks for giving a go sorry it hasn't gone well, I'm also really sorry to see you go but I totally understand why you want to and wish them the very best of luck for the future.

Im afraid in this game everyone is paid a massive amount of money to perform and do the job they are paid for. If you don't deliver you are yesterdays chip paper, that's the nature of the beast. Anyone who is paid a large amount of money and doesn't do his job, when they are in the public eye is there to be shot at by millions. Because the people who do the shooting generally have to earn every penny and have to perform, or else.

Good Win Yesterday even though the performance wasn't great but we'll take it. Ozil has been off form this season but he shouldn't be dropped, he is still one of our best players.

I know it's been only three games and Hull at that but the OX looks really good in midfield. He could be the perfect partner for Xhaka or operate in a midfield 3. He is strong, dynamic, his range of passing is exquisite and defends rather well being a suprisingly good tackler. He needs to perform on a regular basis though, but we might have accidentally found something good here.

Good result yesterday and Splendid performance from Iwobi, the boy can be really good in a few years time. Giroud gets a lot but he is good really good when he's on his game. overall happy our title hopes are still alive.

We look a totally different side with Mesut Ozil in the side, he is a great player and gets unduly criticised by the media and some of our fans. By the way if you look at it, he has contributed more in "big games " than Alexis, I Think it's only Man he hasn't scored against.

Eden Hazard had Ozil's Man City and Everton performances for a whole season, yet was hardly criticised and didn't have his pedigree questioned. There are people who i reckon have an agenda against Ozil, its the same people who never liked him from day one, who were then proven very wrong who pick apart and over exaggerate every bad game.

Shout out to Man City for winning the league in September though, we really should aspire to reach their level lol

I respectfully disagree G62, Maybe i am delusional but i refuse to join the Spurs bandwagon. They have won absolutely nothing to date, as a matter of fact the only thing they have is finishing above us for the first time in two decades.

They are young and exciting, play great football and have been better than us over 2 seasons, there's no denying that. We were in the same boat in 07/ 08,a young side that played awesome football and was challenging on all fronts, in fact we went further than this Spurs in the CL reaching the QF. that side was IMO more talented than this Spurs side, yet we ultimately won nothing.

As Henry said, until they win something recognisable there is no power shift. Till then they are still in our shadows, in our worst seasons in 20 years we might still win a trophy, while in their best they walk away with nothing, says all you need to know really.

So Steve you mean to tell me that Xhaka does no defensive work and the stats about his interceptions, tackles and ball recoveries per game are a myth? You say my am biased against Kante but you completely deny Xhaka's defensive contribution, even yesterday he made his mark.

Then you attribute Chelsea's improvement down to only Kante, Am sure it has nothing to with a resurgent Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, a completely reborn Victor Moses or the influence of Antonio Conte.

Yeah Steve it was a tough call to leave some players out, Especially Dembele who i think is a fantastic footballer and criminally underrated.

No doubt i would have him at Arsenal he's a great player but not as good as Sanchez. Running at people doesn't make him a better player though, and saying Sanchez is more clinical is a roundabout way of saying he's better. No need to make excuses for him, Sanchez has been our only good Winger for a while too. You could argue that Sanchez would also be twice the player if he had those players around him.

The Thing about Ozil not turning in big games is a bit a myth. He has had many great games against big sides whether for Arsenal / Real Madrid or Germany. He has been poor is some big games too, but that usually comes with the team being as a whole.

He was fantastic against Bayern at the Emirates, dominated against City and did the same against United at home. He has also scored in the NLD and provided a sumptuous assist for Gibbs last year. The Man has had many great games for us, its just easier to pick apart when he's had a bad game.

Him and Pogba have the same kinda pressure, when they perform people say it expected of them because they are record signings, when they have bad days people will slaughter them because they expect more. Even though he had a bad game, he was still the creator for our goal and i think that's what counts at the end of the day.
