Greetings and Salutations my fellow Gooners!

So for many Jurgen Klopp the master tactician has Dortmund not in first, third, fourth but last, yes last in the ultra competitive Bundesliga and this is the man many want to replace Arsene.

Personally I think this will be Arsenes last contract so why not enjoy our greatest managers final run especially after a strong week. A week which showed us that perhaps Arsene does know a thing or two and perhaps our players must also learn that football is not only about going forward but defending collectively as a group.

Arsenals greatest strength is that we are very pragmatic in our approach and I believe we have internally already begun our search for a new manager, but we have never conducted any of our dealings in public.

The banner which has been seen numerous times since 2012 was unnecessary when one views the context of what will transpire at the club in years to come.

The reason I love Arsenal is because we are very intelligent in our undertakings and while most of what I have said is simply opinion and conjecture I strongly believe the club is moving towards its next chapter.

But before its done allow Arsene to finish his term with the class he is. Signs like the one yesterday which may reflect personal freedoms speak detrimentally to our club as it creates unrequired chaos.

The pro and anti Wenger talk is counterproductive for the simple fact that he has a contract and the club will honour it. So perhaps our time would be best be served by creating a better atmosphere of support at our club instead of debating Arsenes position which for all account is secure.

And for the record I do like Klopp but all managers given time will be found wanting so perhaps it's not always best to assume someone may be better than what we have or that the grass is greener on the other side.

Greetings and Salutations my fellow Gooners!

Allow me to start with a little humor.

Arsenal woke up in the morning and said to the chairman."you signed who. "

So after the FA cup if we were told that Sanchez, Ospina, Chambers & Debuchy would sign and Campbell would return afer a strong World Cup showing and another strong young English talent would transfer over from a rival would you be upset?

If you were told that you made it to CL for a 17th consecutive season and remained unbeaten after 3 matches how would you have felt?

Now I appreciate that players were lost, good players I might add, and yes I know we allegedly have a great deal of money to spend because it was reported in the media and Kroenke stated this emphatically that he would spend.oh wait, and that Arsene has total ownership and has no one who determines otherwise, oh wait.

Here's the deal for me. was I happy that only Wellbeck came in? Was I happy that we seem very thin in our back 4? And after 9 years and i'm no expert but it would seem a bright idea to sign a CDM?

But after all is said do I or any of us know what transpired? How many potential deals were available? Or what we were unable to complete due to other factors in the equation?

Here's what I do know, most if not a large portion of Man U supporters either rate Danny or believe he has potential. A 23 year old English striker for 16 million seems reasonable, remind me again how much Pool bought Caroll for?

And finally for all the quick witted Wenger lovers. wow, quite a field day of comments but can we judge the man by the entire body of work both during the entire transfer window which didn't start yesterday and the season which is 3 games old after a summer which included a WC, new players and others only joining after the season started.

I have no problems evaluating the club and manager but let's get some perspective.

Recently we as a fan base are seemingly to quick to judge and assume the worst of the club and manager. Ask most clubs and their supporters and it's no wonder many consider us whingers.

As with most I wanted more, but I'll reserve judgment until this plays out.

Here's to another exciting transfer window and the banter which follows and here's to a season which will define it's success!

Greetings and Salutations my fellow Gooners,

Aah the truly wacky season has now begun with reports that Mr Messi had inquired about a potential move to the Emirates last summer.one must love this brilliant time of year!

And speaking of brilliant times we look ahead to the season that will be for our beloved Arsenal Football Club.

And to our friend Dags on the welcoming of his granddaughter, congrats mate!

Sanchez, Debuchy and Ospina we welcome you to the Emirates and North London where we will anoint you with song and praise your with glee on our way to a long awaited Premiership title.

The challenge looks strong as our rivals have not stood still. Chelsea, City, United and Liverpool will compete for the crown and the rest aah yes Spursman.the rest as your commonly known in these parts will play their part.

I for one feel a renewed strength has returned to the club an in particular our manager who seems to have a step returned to his bounce.perhaps it was the little taste of silverware and greater financial viability that his invigorated his determination, but I love the way he has commanded this off season.

And of the players, they look confident, determined and dare I say healthy as I quietly think of what a season with a healthy Diaby may be, perhaps our greatest acquisition this year may be Shad Forsythe to heal what has ailed us for so long!

And to our supporters a certain brim of possibility dare I say has entered our hearts. Its amazing what a trophy can do along with the purchase of world class talent early in the transfer window.

To the season at hand, to the Eds who do a fantastic job and to each of you. True Gooners, I wish us all nothing but silverware and good times ahead for this year!

Greetings and Salutations my fellow Gooners!

Will he, won't he, will he.well we now know. A few thoughts on Mr Fabregas.

1. Only those in the know actually do know what transpired. As such speculation at best is a guess and as such i'd prefer to trust our club in their decision making prowess.

2. I believe if we had signed Cesc that it would have been as a luxury signing. As a club I believe we have a budget, and Cesc while a fan favourite was not a player that addressed an immediate need.

3. Yes we turned Cesc down, Barca shipped him out and Pep didn't bring him to Munich. again only those in the know will know but I can't help but wonder why.

4. Why are we so shocked? Arsenal have always been ruthless in our financial dealings and have very rarely ever let sentiment dictate a deal. Conversely players say what we want to hear, but they have a limited time to maximize their earnings. Coupled together this decision shouldn't really surprise anyone.

5. Does AFC and Arsene have some work to do to restore the good faith the FA cup provided? Yes they do, frankly speaking we have been very patient as a fan base, its time for the club to pay up and bring in the players we need to compete.

In conclusion my Cesc jersey will hang with the others who have gone and left but my heart will always remain true to Arsenal FC, the greatest football club the world has ever seen.

And be patient everyone, this will be a great summer when its all said and done!

Greetings and Salutations my fellow Gooners,

Tis been a very long time since I last posted but I have remained a loyal supporter of this site, visiting on a daily basis and patiently waiting for the season to unfold before I added my two pence to an exhilarating season for AFC.

I decided to wait until the entire picture unfolded before I made any comments as I felt it was important to formulate an opinion based on the entire body of work.

In the past as some of you may recall I have always believed in both the ethos of our club and that Arsene Wenger was most deserving of ensuring our progress to the summit of English and European football.

I have always believed in the ideology that it is easy to formulate opinions without knowing all the facts and its even easier to create a conclusion based on partial knowledge.

It is in this spectrum that I feel we all fail as supporters as our inside knowledge of the club remains superficial at best.

Over the past season we have witnessed some fantastic growth both on and off the pitch. During this time commercially and financially we have added to our reputation as an industry leader. Globally the economy has recovered and our debt leverage has reduced, positioning us stronger for the next phase of our clubs development.

On the pitch we showed similarity in results but with an important achievement of silverware. In addition we showed important growth in development in the transfer market breaking our transfer record, an indication of a willingness to compete in the marketplace.

Overall I believe the season unfolded as it should have. Arsene led the club to a trophy and I think we all can agree that in the finals he showed great tact and patience to deliver a result. Furthermore I believe it was very transparent from his comments, reactions and that of the players just how much he has endured to protect the growth of the club and nurture our developing talent during a difficult period of transition.

I believe strongly that Arsene was prepared to change his role if defeat had occurred in the FA cup final and hence the delay in signing a contract. He is a man who has always shown great courage and ethics towards our club. The reality is that he more than all of us has given his life for the club and I very much believe that he was willing to forsake his position within the club for the greater good if required.

And now that the season has unfolded, I believe that Arsene has earned the right to take us through to what I believe will be the last chapter of his term with the club, and I ask, is that not what we all really wanted?

We all love Arsenal, we all love Arsene, we all love to win, and I think it was that last piece which was causing an incredible amount of contention amongst all the supporters. Now that we have won, difficult as it may have been, I truly believe we are poised to move forward with Arsene and I sincerely believe this trophy will be that catalyst for a positive future!

3.) Well said, arsene has earned it, and I was a critic of his last season!

4.) 20 May 2014 20:25:19
Always liked to read your posts. Nice to have you and the ghost of Terry Mancini back. :-)

5.) I thought last summer was AW's biggest window. I stand corrected - this is the one where we stick or twist.

We can go big or fight it out for 3rd or 4th and be happy we have recently won a trophy.

I think AW hates losing and loves our club - as fans we entrust a manager to look after our club to do the right thing for both the short and the longterm. AW does this so so we'll. I would love to see him lead us onto further and bigger glory in the next two years!,

In AW we trust

6.) Could`nt agree more, if he could persuade Sagna to stay would be even better.
