Boys, ignore Spursman he wants everyone to react to his posts!

On a positive note, is anyone still buzzing we got Sanchez?! The thought of Theo and Alexis attacking is mouth watering!

1.) Yeah I know mate but I kind of feel sorry for him as it turns out we're his heroes on this page and the only people who take any notice of him.
Be kind to Spursman everyone, think of him as someone who desperately wants to be a gooner but doesn't know how to ask, silly sausage

2.) Spurman has obviously escaped from a secure unit ( white hart lane ) he will be caught and escorted back ready for the new season of over whelming success like they always have.

A lot of truth to that G62. I kind of read his posts in the voice of a pre teen, has that vibe about it. Kill him with kindness. Seems like a kid desperate for attention, poor fella.

Okay so we need to buy a defensive midfielder similar to Flamini or we can forget beating Palace Liverpool and United! Fed up with Arteta in the deep he doesn't take it by the scruff of the kneck like Flamini does, hugely important week for us!

Just daydreaming whilst on the toilet at work, does anyone support Arsenal because their Dad does, and his Dad does and so forth? Every Father on my Fathers side have supported Arsenal because their Dad does which goes back 5 generations!

{Ed022's Note - I support them because I was taken to my first live game as a kid (not by my dad) and fell in love with them...}

Mdog

1.) Taken aged 8 by my dad, following week taken to spuds, by. An unlocked uncle, was sick on the terrace, supported arsenal ever since, now 54, moral of the story spurs make you sick official.

2.) No, my whole family are Spurs fans. I have no idea why I am an Arsenal fan, I just am. I guess you could say I was born a Gooner.

3.) Yep, my old man first took me to Highbury in 1963 when I was a 5 year old. We used to get there at about half 12 and sit in the East Stand for 2 and a half hours eating snadwiches, crisps and reading the programme from cover to cover listening to the Met Police band as they played and marched on the pitch. Spectacularly unsuccessful period under Billy Wright and not a lot better for the rest of the decade until the Fairs Cup win - great atmosphere that night. Started going with my mates to the North Bank in the Double Season (70/71) and was outside Sh*te Hart Lane for the final game of the league season as we couldn't get in because the ground was full. This 13 year old had a few celebratory beers in a pub on the corner of what is now Bill Nicholson Way that I would never dream of entering now - the landlord didn't give a monkey's about underage drinking obviously. Happy Days :))

4.) My old man is a red sea pedestrian but his identical twin brother is a Gooner.

I support AFC because of my granddad who I watched the 71 FA Cup with, Charlie George. enough said that was the start of the love affair

5.) My old man has no interest in sport whatsoever, sadly. And my mum is a spud. But I only found that out about 3 years ago. I've supported arsenal since I was 7-8, because my best friend at my new school supported them and he showed me about 4 highlights and we scored 4 in each game and I was blown away! Been AFC ever since and my kids are going to be AFC I'll make sure of that! I met a guy recently who supports Liverpool, his son supports man U and his grandson supports chelsea. That's never going to happen in my family!

6.) I just fell in love with the Gunners, and here I am today.

7.) My girlfriend was a gooner and she popped off to watch the match with her dad, I was never in to Football but thought I would sit with a few tinnies and watch the match anyway at home so I could talk to her when she got back, Nice bloke that I am, anyway Anfield 89 Micky thomas, hooked need I say more, 2nd gen with my 5 year old now so call me plastic but went to both highbury and get to the emirates when I can, in my eyes it doesn't matter when or how its just that you are for whatever reason proper club proper fans proper football

8.) Hay CECEUaW I might well have been sat next to you a few times I used to get there early pack a Percy Daltons or 2 & a good read of the programme during the 60's. Think I used to be 1 of the 1st in as I was [& still am a short a**e I wanted to get right up the front. Happy days.

9.) Went to first gane 1969 with my Dad and my Grandad both Arsenal fans and that was that. My grandad always refered to the as the Arsenal never anything else.

10.) My father was a gooner and we first watched the 87 littlewoods cup final win against Liverpool 2-1 champagne Charlie Nicholas scored both I think, sadly my father passed away in 2006, and in the fa cup 4 years ago, arsenal played plymouth argyle on jan 3rd.
Our team played the city I was born in on the anniversary of his death at the emirates that he never got the chance to go to because of illness.
My second son was born the following day and was 10 days over but had to be there and now both sons of mine are arsenal fans.
Once a gooner, always a gooner :)

11.) Was forced to support them when I was a toddler. And I thank my dad for it every day.

Missing a heart in my chest, in its place is a cannon.

Looking forward to the next season regardless of signings, I love my arsenal!

Mdog

1.) Well said:) regardless who comes or goes, arsenal's our team:)
COYG andi:)

2.) If the fans don't feel optimistic for the new season, how will the team feel?

even wilshere said you can't win the league with 18 players. world class additions are necessary.

If we have to buy suarez, fellaini and higuain for a grand total of 100 mill, we have to do it. otherwise we talk more than we act.

4th spot frustration will be the best we can muster.

Controversial?! Mate you are off your rocker, I'm a Gooner and the referee made a fair decision on both incidents vs Villa, just accept it that we need players, whether we get them or not is a totally different thing not me nor you or anyone else on this site has insider news were all just fans with different opinions
