1.) Dags will be pleased but also feel under more pressure than Remy and Arsene put together for it to work out well, be careful what you wish for DG mate :-)
2.) Hope so! Completely changed my tune on this deal, I'd be happy now just to have a signing in the bag, so many windows pass where we get no one.
Handy players as well, could be lethal off the bench. But still he'd be Bendtners replacement, we needed another striker last year and therefore will still need another, if we get Remy.

Wots the point of signin a player for next season when we are in desperate for dm cover right now!the only truthful rumour I can see coming very soon is that if arsenal fail to qualify for champs league, then the arsenal faithful will be calling for wengers head. He had adequate time to bring in replacements for the 17 he let go. As normal he believes this squad was good enough to win the league even the the whole world of football could see how worrying light are team really are! I can see the pressure of losing out on champs league and lack of signings when there's 70+ mil sitting in the bank getting the best of wenger and leaving him no choice but to walk away from the club and leaving himself as an embarrassment and not the legend we all know he has been in the past.

We lack captaincy qualities in team and I believe bringing Cesc back will resolve that. I hope Wenger brings a right back, a forward and a holding midfield player as well.

Per is captain material, dare I say it, so is Flamini as is Kozy. So I don't think we lack a captain. I reckon Per will get it next season

SAM5555. I am not sure how much you know about how club transfer works-its not like football manager game. Its not only manager that buys player - manager only finalizes target list and explains plan.
As he got the offers, in Madrid or Bayern or PSG - he could have earned double to what he is earning now.
And for SAM5555 - I am old in football and new here. There is crisis moment I agree - but crisis needs cool head that Wenger has. Abusing him will not do any good.
