How many players are we left with now after all the players we sold/ loaned? Wenger said our squad was to big now I don't think we have enough especially if we get injuries.

Opinions please. If we lose to liverpool do you's think wenger will panic and buy 1 or 2 decent players or keep faith in the team we have and hope they improve?

Nope, I can't see Wenger buying. His obstinacy is pitiful and perhaps I was naive in thinking that he might have changed this season when we signed two players early in the window. The biggest PL spenders this season are Man C, Man U, Chelsea, Everton and not Arsenal who have only spent approx £50m, whilst having received in approx £25m.

Personally I think Arsene has targets he still hopes to sign.
I don't think we will keep a Sanchez who so obviously doesn't want to play for us and lose 70 million for the privilege of being able to say ' told you so '
Should we lose to Liverpool and lose Sanchez without any new players coming in the atmosphere at the Emirates v Bournemouth would be pretty hostile towards Arsene and I simply can't see him inviting that on himself after last season's planes banners and demonstrations and to be fair I can't see the club letting him do it either.
I'm absolutely certain the club have no desire to invite fans unrest.

It's good to see you can have a decent debate without letting your Spurs bias get in the way bod.
Leicester had a team spirit we last saw under George, not the best 11 individuals but together they made a great team.
George's team worked very very hard and had a collective discipline and togetherness and a manager who neither made or accepted excuses for or from his team.
If you ain't going to buy the best players then you definitely need a great mentality to win or even get close to the title.

What's all this nonsense about making and accepting excuses? Do you seriously think Wenger sits about during his down time trying to conjure up his next excuse for losing a game?

In an interview, after the Stoke game, he said; "In football, if you lose a game that you should have won, you can only look at yourself. "

Yes, definitely sounds like a man making excuses.

Over the last 20 odd years (bar last season) , the worst the man has done for us is finish in the top 4 and brought us Champions League football. If you guys think that's bad, then I fear for our future as a club.

Maybe this season can be the season wilshere shows up for arsenal. Our midfield is awful and we need a new midfielder which I doubt wenger will buy so maybe jack can come in and do a job
Wilshere could make the best of a bad situation if he stayed fit he would do a better job than what wev got now.
Keeping him fit is the problem but if wenger made him play deeper in the cazorla role and dictate play with his passes he's less likely to get injured.

Like I said its not my choice or I would buy a new midfielder but from what we got he's the best option we have.

That really is clutching at straws. It should not be like that. Our teams for the last few seasons have been flaky, that is not being addressed. I do think it's because we haven't any real strong athletic types in midfield or defence and Wilshire is definitely not that.

If he could stay fit we'd have nothing to lose by giving Jack a real go, but the odds on him staying fit are remote if your being optimistic, Huddersfield for the title has to be a better bet than Jack playing 20 competitive games, not his Bournemouth games where he simply didn't get involved but competitively taking part games.

AOC, Walcott, Carzola, Ramsey, Wiltshire, Wellbeck, Gibbs, Mertersecker, are very injury prone. I've probably missed a few others off.
Wenger has players who had potential instead of world class players, with the exception of Czech and Sanchez.
The problem Arsenal have is that Wenger has more than often bought overrated Ligue 1 played that have cut the mustard in the EPL. Slowly but surely Arsenal have fallen behind.
World class players are must. Old man Wenger is too long in the tooth.

It's such a weird feeling when we lose I don't get that angry rage and hate towards wenger like I usually get this past few seasons now I kind off just accept we are useless and will be until wenger finally leaves.

Wenger always talks about mentality etc but wev lost our winning mentality under him the players have no fight or no passion

Obviously I hated not winning trophies but when we were playing amazing football it kind of took the hurt away now we play crap football we need to learn passing side to side and backwards while the opposition team sit in front of us isn't going to get us much goals. We need to run at teams the way they run at us we need our players to take the game by the scruff and go for it not pass pass pass pass pass pass with a few mins to go and is being a goal down

Can't wait until the day wenger leaves and another manager comes in just hope he gets the time to build a team as it will take a few years because of the state of the team wenger has built but for now I'm just going to suck it up and wait for the next 2 years to go by and see what situation we are in.

By the way I don't usually go on websites to complain or to slander our manager lol but think iv just had enough we are a joke we struggle against bottom half teams on a weekly basis.

this passing sideways and backwords is getting beyond a joke, its like we have signed Denilson. it would help if Xhaka knew his team mates were in red shirts. Wellbeck showed why united didn't want him. ozil is a luxury player that we can't use. were boring and its becoming the normal.
