Ed, what is happening with reagrds to lukaku? He is surely leaving. Will arsenal go for him. Where he might end up in your view?

Lukaku supported Chelsea as a boy, it would be his prefered destination. I do not see him joining Man U because of Mourinho.
{Ed025's Note - it will depend on chelsea,s interest in dembele of celtic 5HB, and of course how much mino raiola can screw each team out of, he made over £40m from the pogba deal and will probably want a massive cut from romelu,s transfer mate..

Possibly. But Morata is Conte's No 1 choice, it depends whether he goes for both. Bear in mind Conte is building to win the CL next season, he may therefore prefer both.
In my view he is looking for players who are an upgrade to what he currently has. I do not see Dembele heading to Chelsea.

Youri Tielemans has attracted long-term interest from Chelsea with Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Juventus, Borussia Monchengladbach, Napoli, Spurs, Barcelona and Marseille all showing an interest in the past couple of years. Plenty of other sides will have had him scouted. Chelsea were actively speaking with his club since January 2014 through to 2016 but would have needed to send him on loan for, I imagine, at least a year. Speaking with Mourinho and another representative of (with the permission of his club) Chelsea he was adamant he did not want to be sent on loan - but that was a couple of years ago. Atletico spoke with Anderlecht this past summer and the player liked the idea of a move to Madrid but nothing could be resolved for a move at the time. The problem with a move to England is that he is still may not ready to step right in to the first team at many of the more senior clubs but it may not stop Spurs looking to bid. It was suggested that he should look to one the "smaller" teams in one of the big leagues, with Everton given as an example. Interest of Marseille and Juventus has certainly moved on. Milan and Roma are also showing some interest and have made that interest known. It is not out of the question that Borussia Monchengladbach may look to him again.}

Ed. How can oxlade Chamberlain reject chelsea if arsenal want to sell? what's going on in this deal? Does arsenal not want to sell? Or player prefers a move to liverpool hence rejected chelsea?

Ed are you satisfied as a Liverpool fan with the ox. I know you don't like to get into stuff like this but who would you say has got the best out of this deal?

However, he is a Liverpool fan and was desperate to join us and is a decent like for like swap for Milner, who he is intended to replace. It just seems far too much to pay when his contract is coming to an end and I am not convinced he is all that good. Hopefully Klopp will improve him and he will work harder because he is at a team he wants to be with.}

ED. A number of tabloids say that wenger has agreed a new two year deal. john cross of mirror says arsenal are just waiting for rigth time to announce contract extension. you have always said that wenger is set to leave. what is your view on situation?

So wenger said he is definately going to manage next season. whether its going to be at arsenal or other club that's yet to be decided. personally this comes as a shock . so my question to ed-
1) this surely ends possiblity of wenger getting on arsenal board or becoming director if football?
2) which club in europe would hire him? psg? (not sure because they look good with emery)

There was never a doubt that Wenger will manage next season and I still believe he wants to manage at club level, opposed to International management. He has had a link to PSG for some time and I can still see him managing there. I believe the tide has turned and he will depart at the end of the season.

It's a shame that Wilshere hasn't fulfilled his early potential and his performances to date on loan haven't been awe-inspiring. I think it's time to cash in on him and bring in a new player.

Hi ed. Just wanted to ask you. why is arsenal so reluctant to go after players who will be clearly upgrades on our current set of players. This season we missed out on kante and Mane. these players clearly wanted to come to arsenal and are much better than coq and chambo respectively. we needed a good CB for a long time and got mustafi only this summer. And i know wenger won't sign another creative midfielder as cazorla replacement because then wilshere won't sign for us. For god wenger will keep putting his faith in players who keep letting him down?
