Who is everybody's first choice for the two central midfielders? It's very harsh on rambo but I think mine would be flamini and willshere, looks like a nice balance.

Bermy Gooner

1.) Is this at the moment who is fit and available or if the whole team was hypothetically fit?

Right now, Rambo and Flamini

All fit, Wilshere and Rambo

I just don't think Wilshere is back firing on all cylinders yet.

Arteta deserves a spot, and if Diaby is fit you can expect him to play.

Tough question to answer.

2.) Matt, your reply sums up our midfield, when all fit, we don't really know who's best there. Definitely one of, if not the best midfield in the league.

I'd go Rambo and jack.

3.) Sorry meant to say when everybody is fit.

4.) Drop Ramsey? Yeah he might try harder if we do that and up his game, sorry but he is undropable at the moment unless you are picking names not player's

5.) In a good way I don't care Two of any of those works for me although I do think Jack and Arteta is probably too offensive.

On current form Ramsey + either Jack or Flamini.

6.) It is certainly a headache for Wenger when all are fit.

You can't realy drop Ramsey as He has been in fine form. And for me you can't drop Flamini as he is our best option for a Defensive protection.

I would go with a midfeild 3 of Flamini, Ramsey and Cazorla as the spear head rotating with Wilshire until he gets to mathc sharpness. with Ozil wide with Walcott on other side and Giroud.

Or to accomodate Wilshire move Carzorla up top left Ozil wide right and Giroud centre. I can see Wnger doing this. The only issues then is lack of width with both cutting in. This puts extra pressure on fullbacks to both get forward at same time which is a risk on the counter.

7.) My choice would be Wilshire and Arteta. Ramsay is playing out of his skin but Arteta offers better passing and leadership, Wilshire is simply a better player than Rambo. Flamini is 4th choice and Diaby behind him, unfortunately. I can't see us playing anymore than 2 in the middle with the attacking choices available further forward, all vying for 3 spots (Ozil, Walcott, Cazorla, Chamberlain, Podolski, Rosicky /drool)

8.) I can't see ozil playing the right wing, he's the playmaker. santi will go left which is a shame as he's quality through the middle

9.) Tough question. I think most people would love to say jack and rambo especially given rambos form, and I think they will be tge choice for home games against what may be perceived as weaker opposition. But I think for tough away games arteta or flamini will start to give a bit more defensive cover

Just got back from my first ever game today and had a brilliant time. Never really felt like we could lose so our fans were very quiet. Special mentions Ramsay of course, Sanga was brilliant and szczesny had a good game except for one pretty big error. In the second half Wilshire was clearly targeted and received so many late tackles which went unpunished.

Finally very strangely I would like to say well done to the away fans who were brilliant, they were jumping from the first whistle to the last and were very loud and even coordinated amazing stuff.

Well that was just what the doctor ordered! Thank goodness I can now cancel my appointment with my psychiatrist.

Not at all trying to dampen the mood but did anybody else notice Podolski's attitude? To me he looks a bit disenchanted, I also noticed this in pre-season hope I am reading to much into it.

Just a hypothetical question here, (I actually don't and never thought he would come) but if Suarez were to be an arsenal player would anybody be worried about him not fitting in? I thought Torres was a top ten striker in the world when he joined Chelsea, despite style differences I thought his sheer quality would show through which I haven't seen yet. Maybe chelsea and liverpools styles were further apart than ours and liverpool would be? Just wanted opinions on how highly people rated Torres at Liverpool and whether it could be possible to happen to Suarez.

Koscielny for captain, not because of his goal today but because of his attitude and work rate for the whole of last season. I think he deserves it anyway.

Bermy Gooner

1.) Im sort of with you on that, but I think its about time we stopped picking our captains on the basis that they play better than the others.

Saw an add for Sundays fixtures and it said our match 3 and spurs at 4 is that correct? I thought usually final day fixtures were all played at the same time? Any one know the answer?

I'll also just bring back to the top I posted just saying thanks for all the positive replies about my season tickets and that I will be constantly chanting except maybe on Tuesday night (we will be playing on Tuesday nights next season) when my voice may not be recovered from the weekend. {Ed027's Note - All at same time, 16.00

1.) It's when the channels start there coverage. SP1 starts at 3 and SP2 at 4

Saw him the other night against Juve, by far their best player, didn't see enough of him to see if he would fit in though.

When someone is wanting to buy a majority stake of shares it is paramount that current shareholders know of it as late as possible (from the potential buyers point of view), the earlier the existing shareholders know about the potential bid the more the shares are worth as a premium on shares is paid when a takeover occurs (making the shares very attractive therefore driving up the price), therefore making it very important for the potential buyer to be as quiet as possible.

I am in no way saying this adds credibility to the rumour just saying that if a takeover were to happen at any time it is in the potential buyers interest to make sure it doesn't get out until the official bid is made.

I personally don't think it will happen but you never know.

Hi ed, if lewandowski is likely to go to United do you know which striker/s will leave United? {Ed002's Note - Search function.}

Not at all saying that the Ed is wrong but in my opinion I just can't beleive that Wenger would take the boys that were Nasri, Song, RVP, Cesc and even Adebayor to an extent, and sell them whilst he has a pot of money he can spend. I just can't see why he would put about 4 years in each of them, to make them world class, whilst having a big pot of money and him saying "you know what let's sell our best players" and not give them a market rate wage.

With Cesc and Song I beleive they were not in the last year of their contracts so we had no reason to sell them, particularly Cesc who was captain and Wenger even sold Viera (so he says) to fully allow Cesc to develop. We gave him so much as a club and had no reason to sell him he would have forgot very quickly about barca if Wenger said "you are contracted for three more years which you will stay for end of. " The Cesc case gave off the stench that the board received an offer they couldn't refuse. Cesc played with a broken leg for about 20 mins for us and played the day after his grandfather died do you think he would have not given his all for us because Wenger said you have to see out your contract? I know I can't beleive that. Please look at cesc's goal against Tottenham when we won 2-1 the love he has for Arsenal can be seen in his reaction so easily, please show me a better celebration.

As a club level season ticket holder I have to say I am disappointed with the lack of vocal support, there are a few people in my section like myself who will sing a long to songs but nobody would start one.

I think all arsenal fans are slightly spoiled as in we don't sing unless it is a game we expect a good challenge in. New songs, words on screen for timing purposes and in particular a drum are the ways I see it improving for so called lesser games. Against the big boys I don't think the atmosphere could get much better considering ticket prices.

When speaking about willshere and ozil playing in the same team Wenger said he see's willshere as a deeper player these days with ozil behind the striker. Whilst some circumstances will mean he sometimes plays on the wing, my guess is he will play cam the majority of the time. I am now thinking it will be rosicky who loses his place.

I'm thinking ozil won't start, regular formation (I think it is 4231 some posters say it is 433) I'm going
sczcesny
sanga koscielny mertesacker Monreal
Wilshire Ramsay
Walcott rosicky cazorla
giroud

With ozil in the ranks I think Walcott could be used up top, so could podolski when fit again which should be before Christmas.
I very much think we could do with a striker but I personally don't see the crisis which others do. Whilst Walcott may not be a tried striker yet, last time I saw him play centrally he scored a hat trick.

I don't care to get caught up in mud slinging matches, just calling it how I see it.
