Looks like we have a fight on our hands for Rice! Hope he doesn't get his head swayed by the others coming in for him. Both seem to offer players as well as cash.

I thought the Jan window was successful personally. Trossard was a superb signing and Caicedo was never going to join. It looks like he'll go to Chelsea for significantly less than we were bidding.

Wire I think we should have gone for the other winger the Chinese or Japanese kid he would have been a better option for me, I don’t see the fuss with trossard hasn’t reall scored many or assisted for us.

If we act like chelsea and utd we just broadcast that we are mugs in all future negotiations. Once the precedent is set then its a permanent problem. i'm fine with a bit of faffing.

I'm happy for us to faff our way out of the Rice deal. Not my money, but it still pains me thinking it's a 100 million smackers. I'm sure if Edu and co gave it some actual thought, they'd be able to pull in 3 new players for that kind of wedge.

We needed a decent CM and were top by a mile. We didn’t cough up and guess what - we are still looking for that position but now as runners up. Jorginho was a ? signing and not a Partey cover which was 100%, required. We went cheap - failed and now going to overspend STILL ?

He also has 1 goal, and 1 disallowed which later they said should have been allowed. He has been sick for Arsenal.

Lads everything I've read seems he really likes Arsenal and would happily move there - the problem simply is stumping up the cash that West Ham want

Us Liverpool fans watch our club get nowhere near valuations or, in the Bellingham deal, talk it up for a year then baulk that the price was what everybody said it would be lol

You do not seem far from what West Ham want though - think they want 100m and you offered just over 90m plus add ons, so not far away at all - you'd like to see Arsenal just offer the 100m and no faffing about but time will tell I guess - good player, could see him do very well for you.
