Ed002 is ramsdale going and who is interested? Thqnks.

Gooner256

{Ed002's Note - Aaron Ramsdale (G) Ramsdale is stuck rather and needs to figure out his future with Arsenal. Wolves are very concerned about losing Sa and are keen to take Ramsdale to replace him but have other options. Milan are the same with Maignan. Newcastle may offer a good solution that will be of interest to the player.}

Ed002 reports that chelsea will not get osimhen and will go for sesko. Where is he likely going? And Could we go for osimhen now? can we get him cheaper than the clause?

Gooner256

{Ed002's Note - Victor Osimhen (S) Napoli made it clear to Chelsea who enquired in 2021 that even €100M would not buy the player - but they do maintain an interest and he was first choice but they are looking elsewhere after not getting awarm response from the player - but some at the club are still confident he will sign - I rather doubt it but Napoli are interested in Lukaku. Al Hilal may well have offered Napoli the huge fee they were looking for, but that may not suit the player just yet. Real Madrid could look to him as an option to Haaland but Madrid would want to offer players in exchange and ideally they would want to wait another year. He signed a new contract and, at the behest of his agent, included a release clause. Arsenal had a preferred option but are less confident that he will sign and see the price of Osimhen as too high - but they might try to offer Smith-Rowe as part of the deal - but Napoli want to keep things simple. PSG have him on a list of potential Mbappe replacements and they are looking at a LW and a S to minimise the impact of Mbappe departing - but their focus is on a high-end goalscoring LW initially. If Manchester City were to lose Haaland, he would be an option but it won't be this summer. Manchester United may offer a wildcard option but the change of staff could end any interest. Liverpool are not an option. There will be a return from Michael Emanalo with a very good offer. Right , it seems he may well stay another year in Naples which means they may need to sell Khvicha Kvaratskhelia unless Arsenal pay the release clause.

Benjamin Sesko (S/F) RBL could be offered a quick profit. His agent has not stopped offering the player around since his move to RBL. Described by a well known ex-Premier League player and high-end scout as "raw but improving". Was on the list for Spurs as a potential Kane replacement but their interest has moved on to another player that they are now pushing for. Newcastle enquired as they are concerned they will lose Isak - but continue to struggle to sell their project to players and will look to keep hold of Isak over Guimaraes. Chelsea spoke with his agent although they have a preferred option, do not discount them making an offer. Milan offer an option as a potential Giroud replacement and they are looking at adding two strikers this coming summer. Arsenal have met with his agent but he appears to only be second choice for them still. A option for Manchester United who need to replace Anthony Martial this summer - but Sesko will not move to simply be cover so that needs to be clarified. Does not want to move to Saudi Arabia but on Michael Emanalo's list. The release clause will be be €65M until June 30.}

Good morning Ed thanks for the great reply there, who is our first choice.

{Ed002's Note - Toney.}

Ed002 reports that we are now in pole position to sign sesko and favorites. Any truth?

Gooner256

{Ed002's Note - I can't answer questions about being in "pole position".}

Ed002 are we likely to get him? Is he now first choice for striker position? Thanks.

Newcastle enquired as they are concerned they will lose Isak - but continue to struggle to sell their project to players and will look to keep hold of Isak over Guimaraes. Milan offer an option as a potential Giroud replacement and they are looking at adding two strikers this coming summer. Arsenal have met with his agent but he appears to only be second choice for them still. Cheers ed, great info as always, would you be able to say who appears to be our first choice please? Many thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Toney but I suspect he will head elsewhere.}

Ed002 is it true we are interested in xavi simons?

Gooner256

{Ed002's Note - Xavi Simons (AM/LW) PSG will talk to the player and assure him of game time and tell him he is not for sale but that may not be enough to convice him to stay. Barcelona would like him back but would need to persuade PSG to take players in exchange. RBL would like another loan which may suit all parties. Arsenal sent scouts but they have other priorities for the summer. Manchester City see him as another potential de Bruyne replacement. Chelsea have spoken with his agent to guage interest and may speak with PSG.}

Ed002 are we interested in amadou onana?

Gooner256

{Ed002's Note - Amadou Onana (DM/CB/CM) Only moved to Everton in 2022 and they are not looking to sell him but with troubles mounting they may have to listen to offers. West Ham interest has moved on but Arsenal may look again after failing to agree alternatives, but they must now be seen as a wildcard option. Newcastle spoke with Everton in the summer and have failed to sign their primary DM/CM target but will return again this summer. Manchester United had him a long way down their list of targets but failed to sign preferred options in the summer and he may still be of interest, but I rather doubt it. Chelsea have him on a list of midfield options but not at the top, and Barcelona may look to some horsetrading but they have to deal with their own financial issues. Real Madrid may look to a player plus cash deal, but he would largely be used as cover. Another wildcard could be Bayern Munich if the cannot sign Palhinho - but they will have a new coach in the summer.}

Ed002 is sesko going to chelsea then? And what is stopping us doing the toney deal now? He has a year left and a deal should be pretty straightforward i would guess? Thanks.

They can now be discounted. Borussia Dortmund offer a wildcard solution. Chelsea have spoken with his agent when they had a preferred option, do not discount them as he is now likely their first choice. Arsenal have met with his agent but he appears to only be second choice for them still. Milan offer an option as a potential Giroud replacement and they are looking at adding two strikers this coming summer, but they are resigned to not signing Sesko and are looking to another now. A option for Manchester United who need to replace Anthony Martial this summer - but Sesko will not move to simply be cover so that needs to be clarified. Does not want to move to Saudi Arabia but is on Michael Emenalo's list. The release clause will be be €65M until June 30 after which his cost will go up - but RBL want an answer before the Euros begin so they can secure their preferred replacement. Chelsea would look to a deal on the cusp of the year end with the fee not paid before July 1 unless they are pushed.

There is nothing stopping Arsenal making an offer for Toney.}

Interesting, Ed002 what do you mean with other discussions? With other players they want or maybe buying a stake in sporting which was reported before.

Gooner256

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has an interest in another Sporting player and BlueCo have been negotiating buying a stake.}

Probably going to Chelsea as osimhen looks like he won't be joining them and they got the money and good relations with sporting.
