Seems to be the eternal question when thinking about Arsenal, but what exactly does this squad need? Is there just not enough steel in the team? Or is this the year to return to winning ways? Personally I feel Wenger is past it now and the team needs to find a new style as Wengers is becoming outdated quickly. Also there just seems to be a lack of a ruthless streak with Arsenal in recent yers, what do you guys think?

Just a discussion, what would you like to talk about Sanogo?

I believe that Wenger controls the players too much. In the winning teams we had the likes of Adams, Keown, Vieira, etc, who all had a fighting and at times nasty streak. Just to compare Bergkamp with Oz, both extremely talented, Pz lacks Bergkamps nasty streak. The problem is who do you replace Wenger with. The top managers are all in jobs.

Anything! Players boot size, price of fish?! And I agree with RG62. Who else is out there? I remember the wengers last year of contract debate that ended up blowing the screws out of the oracles neck when a certain few on here argued that nothing is ever set in stone and wenger might stay on longer! Now it seems that the oracle has re checked the stars and low and behold wenger could well stay on another year. Me for one will take a Holliday from here next summer if we don't win the league and wenger stays longer because I don't think I could stand the backlash and Nostradamus then refusing to give out any more false prophesies.

I think the problem is the mentality of the players purely my opinion though, they need an out and out leader that takes no nonsense that will phsically walk over to a player whos not performing etc and give them a proper rollocking, hair dryer treatment.

Let the season sort at out if we win the title or are with 3pts of doing so offer the man a contract but if we are out of serious contention before May even gets here as usual that has to be time to try a different approach surely.

I personally dags take a good hard look at united since SAF left and wonder where on earth we will be when wenger goes. It really is a hard one to work out. Hypothisis both sides are valid but we will see when reality hits. Me for one always wanted klopp long before he went to Liverpool . Ed said that our original replacement or ideal replacement is no longer available so wenger could stay. Who was on the shortlist anyway? And who is available summer 2018 if wenger does stay on? I don't know but as for the present time we're doing ok in all comps so let's get behind that.

Do I sense the Wenger out army creeping from behind the rocks.
Welshgooner looks for his trusty sword and shield that has defended OUR greatest ever maanger,
Before we chop of his head, Can someone put forward a better candidate.
Brexit (ps I voted out by the way)
Trump (ps I didn't vote on that cock up)
Becarefull what you wish for.

Quality SLB made me pmsl.

The draw against the spuds snapped a few back onto Wenger's case. No leaders I'm hearing, did Kostafi not own one of the biggest bullies in the league, a certain Mrs Costa.

Do Coquelin, Xhaka or Mustafi take shizzle from anyone, I think not. Even Ozil is no longer easily getting shoved off the ball.

Far to much codswallop spoken to be honest. 😉.

Lets follow Villa's plan and get rid of our manager with no great plan - awesome idea. Even better when he's been our best manager, competed with one hand behind his back and has assembled his best squad in years while sat quite nicely in the league and UEFA CL. Genius idea and good use of our time debating. Take a bow :)
