Just watched James Cordan train the Arsenal - would love to see us score and celebrate doing the frying pan, the lawnmower or the bomb

Inject fun into football!

Just seen it :-)

It's good but not as funny as when he was "England manager".

SY4, I have your avatar pic as my tablet screensaver :-)

Big Sam! What a naive fool. He can call hodgeson all he likes but Roy wasn't as naive and daft as big Sam . At least he had the professionalism to know that you don't flap your gums. The people in the know must have know what big Sam was like running his mouth and playing the hot shot and he took the bait 2 months into the job! I bet all top managers get baited by stings like this but to be hooked out and weighed like some prize carp is completely moronic.

Paid £5m per annum and he throws it all away for £400,000.

As Harvey Kietel would say, "prize plum".

To put my old foe Steve mind at rest, I have backed 19 teams to win the premiership.
And if hull win I'm in profit
I have had to change bookies as my regular has retired early.

Why haven't you backed Arsenal Welsh?

27 Sep 2016 18:39:23
The whole of Hull welsh have now had their hopes of doing a Leicester dashed. I am presuming you haven't backed arsenal and not the spuds. lol. But I do detect a bit of desperation in your actions. Everything helps though.

Gunner
I always put the mockers on them,
I've just had a cheeky £20 on big Sam to win his first game at Wembley,
I got 50-1.

Well let's hope he takes over at Accrington Stanley and his first game at Wembley is the FA cup final and you get to collect as the the Accy lift the cup :-)

Edoo1 has England sacked fat Sam.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - not that I am aware of. They knew he was dirty, so it would be odd to sack him for being dirty, plus it is the FA. They will probably be looking for a way to sweep it under the carpet as I type.}

27 Sep 2016 14:13:33
Ok cheers mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - all being well and they will sack him though, so fingers crossed!}

27 Sep 2016 17:11:36
Your not a big Sam fan, then ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - not at all, look at the mess Bolton are in due to money, and then consider that he defrauded the game out of more than enough money to have ensured they never got into that position. The man is greedy, he doesn't need the money, but he ensures the fans have to pay through the nose to keep him in boozy trips to Dubai each summer, where he spends more in one week than most of us have to live on in a year. Yet he still wants more by illegal means! I would be happy if he earnt his money through hard work, but instead he is taking it on the sly. Vile man.}

27 Sep 2016 17:43:42
Ed, I have the same resentment for meddling agents and the whole football industry when it comes to finances. Let's face it, as much as it isn't footballers faults and what not, they hardly earn their 'money through hard work' as you put it - not enough to justify the fact that they literally make most of us on heres' (I would think) years salaries multiplied, in a week.

So yeah, it is ridiculous. If i had the wages big Sam does, I would be grateful and wouldn't try and bend the rules as many times as he has - this is far from his first controversy. I remember there being a bbc watchdog into something him and his son were up to.

But as a manager, i think he may have the 'down to earthness' to manage many of the prima donnas and big egos in the team and hopefully get some results.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he is an arrogant prick but he is always willing to look for new technology and methods to get the best out of players. Still plays crap footie though.}

Malaga
I hope not, as SAM the Scam, Will take England one way, with his credentials of trophy winning, they need to keep him
Ed, is their anybody not on the fiddle in football.

{Ed001's Note - they are few and far between sadly.}

If reports correct from france, coq will be back after international break. Luck or whatever may be changing, his injury isn't serious. If report correct.

27 Sep 2016 12:30:13
That will be excellent, as it will give Xhaka and Elneny a window to play and then we will have Coquelin back to step in and rotate, giving players a rest. With the high intensity of the top clubs, it is clear that a strong squad is necessary to compete on all fronts.

Last season the Toot were a prime example of a team running out of steam towards the end of the season. It will be interesting to see how they cope this week, after a tricky trip to Middlesborough, they have the long trip to Russia, followed by Man City at the weekend.

If the report was correct, yes, for the team and squad every long term injury knocks us.
